Stopped into the bakery for brunch on our way through and there were so many things I wanted to try! I ended up having the Ned Kelly pie, which has egg, bacon and cheese on top. It was awesome, and very reasonable at $4.90.

our family love this pie place! the service is great and the food is excellent. i know why the place is always busy. the mushroom and steak pie is the best, the ingredients are fresh and it is why we go there at least twice a month even if it takes 45 mins.

I really like this bakery, Have visited a few times over the years. The sweet treats are great (mud cake is amazing!) while the pies are just ok. The service is good though its always busy when we go so its hard to judge on that alone. I like that theres plenty of space including a back garden on sunny days and a nice walk to the park or main street.

When I visit Healsville I always stop by this bakery because the owner is obsessed with quality and taste.

There are several things I pick up here which are signature items such as the bee stings (a cake with custard and honey topped with almonds) and their pies - pick any one and it's sure to be a delight. My favorites are the spinach and fetta rolls and the chicken and leek pies. Prices here are not expensive - around $4 for a pie and remember it's fresh baked, not some frozen thing from the supermarket. I also end up buying lots of cakes to go home including florentines, custard tarts and apple cakes.

Great quality, great service and good value for money make this a great place to visit if you want a medium run country drive (around an hour and a half from Melbourne).

Old fashioned, genuinely friendly service, fast and efficient and the food is amazing! The Italian foccacia was brilliant and the bread was so yum! The cakes and their pies (try the Country Chicken with leek and cheese) are also a treat for the tastebuds.
It can be busy with queues to the 3 registers long but it moves quickly. Definitely be back there when it is time to get out of Melbourne again.
Also bought some coffee (granulated to take away) and have to admit it rivals Lavazza as my favourite, pretty good value too

I have been this bakery on numerous times. The food is very fresh and the bakery food is very moreish and tantalizes your taste buds.

I eat there often and the food is great and the staff friendly. But they have no queuing system and it can be a real pain.

This is a nice and pretty big bakery and cafe. Plenty of room to sit around reading the paper, enjoying a coffee and a fresh croissant with out feeling hemmed in by the crowds. It overlooks a nice park which you can take a walk in after your coffee. and smiley, friendly staff!!

I have been a fan of the original Beechworth Bakery since I was a teen. However I have found that over the years the quality has dropped off and the franchise has become too branched out which takes the experience from personal to commercial. Products are pretty standard, and some products are original. Their snickerdoodles however are to die for, those custard filled tarts with strawberries on top! Be prepared however when at Healesville to be dining on clean it yourself tables. Service needs improving. A little bit dear however if taking the whole family with young kids.

The staff is friendly and you get serve straight away. Its a little bit expensive but you will not disappointed when you get your food. Lots of parking and the facilities is so very nice and clean. It back with the park where you take the kids to play after.
