Perhaps, I had high expectations of this place being a hatted restaurant, food was good but it didn't have a wow factor for me. We tried the quail as an entrée and beef cheek, it was ‘just' good. Service was value was ok.
The menu is very succinct so deciding what to get wasn't too troublesome. I wouldn't call it limited though. I had a pie which was very delicious. There was a good mixture of black olives in with the chicken. My friend had some chicken dish (forgot the name, there's only one anyway) and it had to be cooked twice because the first time, it was just a tad too moist. But cooking something twice never tastes that great. Takes away all the natural juices.
Service was so-so. They get quite busy so it's hard to get the waiter's attention.
Good wine list.
Approximate cost: $30
