Went to this vet as a emergency. Upon arriving I was asked if I called first which I didn't as its a emergency. The nurse informed that because I had not phoned it would cost $235 consultation. Now this is poor, if you are open for emergency and very high if it a emergency fee and also there is a sign that says free consultations.... I told them my dog was a Shar Pei and they were afraid he was aggressive... any dog can be aggressive rash judgements doesn't help anyone. The vet checked him over and said he had a twisted stomach and they can't do the surgery at this clinic because they need more people and it would cost $10,000 minimum - i looked up other pricing which was maximum of $7,500.
The pricing just seemed said to scare us off.
We decided in the end that we can't afford the $10k and the quality of life for a almost 10 year old dog wouldn't be as good, and put him down. The vet gave my dog fluids that cost $112 which he didn't use it all and methadone for pain, cost $49.16 ( he was still in pain) when we went in to see him off. We opted to have pets at peace to take him. I rung to check the following day if he had be picked up knowing that pets at peace pick-up quickly... he was still there and the staff mislead me...
Today I went to pick up my dogs urn and was treated rudely because I walked in the vets the door was open... if you dont want people in the vets then put something in the doorway. The lady that came out to serve me couldn't understand me and I had to repeat myself..
Also your parking is non-existent.
I can think of no reason to recommend vet.
I saved a bird that was mistreated,i took it to Ingleburn Veterinary Hospital and the staff were amazing, they brought the bird back to health, and when i rang in and inquired about it they were friendly and helpful, and gave me an update on the birds condition.
Great open hours for this clinic.have taken my dog and birds there on a few occasions.Staff have always treated my animals nicely And i also have handed them a found bird that i thought was injured.and i rang up later and the staff treated me with respect and courtesy when checking and asking how the bird was?
We recently visited this clinic with our dalmatian who required major surgery to his ear. We cannot praise the staff enough that worked with us so that we were able to get him seen to swiftly and on the mend. Will definately be suggesting this vet to others they are wonderful!
Never use any other vet, also have a great reward card system. Have always looked after my pets and are very professional and informative.
Ingleburn Vets are great. We recently had to get surgery for our dog and they really looked after us. The staff are fantastic and you never wait long for service
Always return for my pets needs. Feel safe knowing my pets are in great hands. Reward program is available. Staff are always friendly and thorough. Appointments are on time. Exceptional.
I have been attending this clinic for years, even when we moved out of the area I continue to return for my pets needs. Reward program is available. Staff are always friendly and thorough. Appointments are on time.
i have a pet female staffy who needed her knee replaced baddly this vet was less than half of the price i got off any one else and they treated my puppy with love and even now they still have a soft spot for her.
Approximate cost: $950
I have Greyhounds so if I need a vet I sometimes take them there, as it is close to where I live, I can ring and talk to the vet if I have a problem with my dogs, and if I don't need to see him and just need medication I can pop in and get it.
“Dr Liz and Dirk are absolutely stupendous. Could not have had a better”…
