I have been taking my cats there now for 12 years and would not go anywhere else barring an out of hours emergency. He will not give up on an animal and I know for certain that what he recommends is the best. I had a little rescue kitten, she was in desperate condition and prognosis was that she would be unlikely to survive but with his help she got through. She's now a delightful 6 year old. My older two cats are now going on 13 and have been happy and healthy under his care. Highly recommend this vet. Definitely care for the animal is first priority.

We took our 14 year old cat to see Avinder for a holistic appointment in late Jan 2014 (and had 1 additional follow-up appointment in Feb) and were thoroughly amazed at his gentle approach - so much so our kitty, who is usually *muzzled* by most vets was unbelievably calm with Avinder.... she even let him roll her over and touch her belly! Amazing! We actually went to Avinder because we naturally cured Twinkie of feline hyperthyroidism (no vets involved other than diagnosis!) yet wanted the the professional opinion of someone who believed in natural remedies & cures - someone who wasn't going to push 'traditional' medicines down Twinke's throat...hence our visit to Avinder's practice. He not only assured us that we did the right thing & verified Twinkie showed no clinical signs of having a hyperthyroid, he also helped us with getting her over some other little anxiety issues with herbal remedies. Twinkie's better than ever now and we're so happy to have a holistic vet so close by in case we ever need his help again. We highly recommend Avinder's practice!!! I took my new kitten to get vaccinated and the vet was very helpful, it was easy to get an appointment and he was running on time too. I checked other vet prices in the area and he was the most competitive so I was delighted when he turned out to be a lovely person too. Will def be using him going forward.

I have four cats (moggies), they are treated like they are pedigrees and everyone is just so kind and understanding. It would not matter where in Melbourne I lived, I would travel to this clinic to have my pets treated there.

They are so good with all our animals. Dr Avinder is kind and gentle as well as being knowledgeable and realistic. There is no emotive recommendations and he always explains everything really clearly. They know us and even have offered simple help over the phone. We buy our pet food from them too.
