After being invited in to Maxima's Port Road office earlier this year (2023) for an interview, I was then asked to attend a medical and drug and alcohol test. Which I did and passed. I was then asked to meet my potential employer, again, which I did. I was told at this interview they had one other person to interview. And that was it, never heard another thing from this company but more disappointingly, from Maxima. Incredibly unproffessional.
[redacted inflammatory comment] I applied for a full time position through them which turned out to be a 4 week assignment to help their client catch up. Disgusting behaviour with no thought of the consequences for me.
Are you really serious about real recruitment companies that offer real jobs, and training, you had better get on to these guys who have 20+ years of experience. They have traineeships going around with notable employers. Stop wasting your time and get onto these guys.
We use maxima for our traineeships at work. They are excellent, easy to work with and are very knowledgable. If you are looking for a trainee, they do everything from screening to pre-interviews and only send you people they know will fit in with your office environment.
Another great recruitment agency. These guys kept me updated on every opportunity that came up, and didn't make me feel pressured into taking it just because they offered it. They deal largely with traineeships which wasn't much good to me, but my consultant was very very helpful.
