here is the truth about Smoke Alarm Solutions - Terrible management, Terrible service, Terrible booking service, I told them my availability and then they book in outside my availability. Going in circles for weeks. The company assumes we should have daily availability and they can come whenever they want, without negotiating a time with the person living there. Offshore outsourced receptionist is a waist of time I gave up after 6 hours of trying. Even the complaints people are of no help. Same CEO running this show as he does with their other Trading Name of "Smoke Alarm Testing Service" and same Terrible management, Terrible service, Terrible booking service there too.

Rubbish service. Wouldn't help for 13 month old alarms they installed unless I singed up to a $129/mth subscription. Wouldn't even offer advice over the phone, for the 6 alarm system that they installed. Never use them again. Phone consultant was rude and pushy, and wouldn't answer my questions.

Already wasted two entire days for these people to show up to service my smoke alarm in my rental unit. They sent a notice a few weeks prior that they were going to enter my unit and no show. They re-scheduled, and still hasn't shown. I tried ringing their number but I can't get a human on the line, my call being placed in a long queue. These people are useless. Find someone else if you can. I didn't have a choice because my landlord arranged it but they never showed! Given up on getting a smoke alarm.

I sent in my initial enquiry for alarms in January, paid in April, and still had no follow up to even book an installation time by June. I have had to be the person initiating and chasing up each step of this process, with no responses to e-mail or portal inquiries despite them possessing the payment. An installation appointment was eventually made a number of weeks out, and installation happened smoothly, however in July following the installation I received multiple invoices for the amount already paid and with incorrect totals remaining, as well as incorrect information in the portal website promoted by the company to manage my profile.

Shocking company. Several times I contacted them and told them that I do NOT give them permission to just enter my unit without prior phone call and without me being present at the time. They completely ignore that. They just come to my unit, and enter my unit. They don't care if I'm there and they don't care if I'm even aware that they're coming. They send a notice a few days before they come. If I'm at work remote or on holidays or if the letter got lost in the mail, I don't even get to know that they enter my unit. I came back from holiday just to find out that they've entered my unit in the meantime. Absolutely disgusting.

It's a common custom ALL AROUND THE WORLD that you don't just enter someone else's house uninvited, even if that person is renting. These people from smoke alarm solutions don't care. If you want to contact them, you spend a fortune on their 1300 number. They don't even have a proper phone number. Anyway, I called and emailed them several times, but these people don't care. They just rock up and enter my unit after I told them several times NOT TO. Absolutely disgusting. I may just threat them like any other burglar/criminal/stranger who enters my unit uninvited next time: With self-defence!!!....
