I got my eyes re-tested at Specs Savers because I knew that they had gotten worse since the last time they'd been tested. I wanted to order new contact lenses and Specs Savers has a reputation for being super cheap!

But I ran out of time and money to buy the lenses (getting fitted for new contacts takes time!) and the script (which was paid for by our great Medicare system) sat on file a few months.

I contacted them to get the script when I found a new pair of glasses, in another store, that I wanted to buy.

They gave me the script and I took it to the new store to get the lenses put in my new glasses.

It was completely wrong and had to be re-done. I re-checked the script with them and they confirmed that there were no typos; they had supplied me with the script as it was recorded on my file.

Somehow, the script was just completely wrong!

Specs Savers is great for finding glasses - I know a few friends who wear cute frames they've bought from these guys. So I don't wholly discount them.

But I wouldn't recommend them for lenses!
