This hotel was great, terrific view of the MCG and close to bridge Rd for shopping, i would definateley stay there again
We had a weekend in melbourne and stayed at this lovely hotel, we were upgraded from a standard room to an apartment style room with a spa, it had a kitchen and two levels. It was superb in every way. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was spectacular! great location for all the best shopping to be had in the city centre.
This caravan park has only cabins, oh and camping spaces with one pool and a tiny bbq area, the main bedroom in the cabin was clean and the bed comfy, but the 2nd room that my Dad stayed in had 4 bunk beds, it was the size of a cupboard! The table was so tiny that we had to all go to my aunts for lunch as there were only 3 knives and forks, and if everyone came in they would have to sit very still it was so poky! The woman who ran it didn't smile at all, no matter how hard we tried to make her and she wouldn't even allow a cup of tea at the poolside. It was cheap enough, and the shower had hot water, but I cant rave about the rest of the experience, although the country quietness and the comfy bed were wonderful! But you can't stay in bed forever!!!!
We went to this little pub to see a band on the weekend, we had heard the food was good, but thought we'd wait and maybe walk up King St and find a nice restaurant instead. When we arrived we checked out the restaurant /servery and saw some incredible deserts waiting to be taken to customers. It looked like something from Masterchef! We decided to eat there and it was really nice and at a reasonable price.the spring rolls we had were vegetarian and home made, and the fish and salad, delicious! I would definately go there again when in the area to try something else from the menu!!
I love markets and I remember Paddington markets as being very exciting full of lots of second hand treasures as well as home made delights and crafts! I love the ecclectic range of wares and Im feeling very inspired for a saturday morning stroll through the exciting stalls very soon!
Great nature park, i took my boys there when they were little and it was a fantastic day out, lots of animals to see in a very natural setting, and all the animals looked happy and well cared for.
Ifound metalicus clothing a few years ago, and I Love it! It is great for layering and every time I go in to one of their stores I end up buying something. So a little dangerous but oh so worth it!!
I do love to buy a few things from Ezibuy, so far my experience has been great! I find the quality very good, and if something dosen't fit or the colour is not exactly what you were expecting when you recieve it, its very easy to pop the item in the same bag and return it, having the money refunded to your card or paypal. Highly recommend!
Even though this pub is a great place to see some live music, I made the mistake of eating there one night and regetted it, if they do stay in business they should employ staff who canm cook and serve food that is actually nice to eat! We ordered nachos and were very disapointed. But again, great old pub, one of the fading few that have live music more often than most.
The few times I have eaten at Blu Water grill, either with my husband or with a girlfriend, I have always found the service to be fabulous, and the food fresh and delicious. the tapas are a favourite! Nice alfresco atmosphere too!
