I went for a visit at this centre when I was looking for care for my baby. The staff who showed me around was not very friendly at all. When I went into one of the children's rooms all the kids were eating and the carers were talking away from them. The children were absolutely silent and not engaging with one another or any of the carers. I was only showed one room and when I got home I sent an email asking for a second viewing as I wanted to see what it was like when the children were engaged in learning activities/play. I was sent an email back stating that this would not be advisable as the centre would prefer I have my baby and they then ascertain whether or not was the right fit for the centre. I was naturally disgusted so wrote a letter to the centre asking them to clarify what they meant by seeing if my child would be the "right fit" and that I found it appalling that they would want to assess and judge a baby, especially when babies are just babies and generally do not fall under any stereotypes. I asked for the centre to call me to discuss this or reply by mail but did not hear back from them I decided another centre would be better for our child
