Booked in to see a remedial masseur when my back was sore. I hobbled out of there in worse pain than I was in at the beginning of the session. Her technique felt awkward but the massage was acceptable (aside from the fact that I believe that massage therapists should have short nails!). Towards the end, she tried to stretch my back, which exacerbated the pain. Afterwards when speaking to people (in the industry) they suggested that if she truly knew what she was doing she probably should not have tried to stretch my back while it was in the state it was....
