We first endured a gruelling 2-hour presentation with an OzShut marketing person, before asking Half Price Shutters to quote us on 3 shutters. The salesman came in, showed us samples, measured, told us the total cost ($1,000 less than OzShut's best price) and was gone within 20 minutes. The shutters were installed yesterday - they look (and work) great!

The service at every point was excellent. The quality of the shutters is amazing and the installation was perfect and the man cleaned up all his mess after him. We even left him alone in our house while we attended a funeral. The salesman was polite and helpful when he came to tell us about the shutters and the man who came to measure up came on time and was efficient. Thank you very much..we love them.

Everything was great until it came to installation, had to cancel first date as flashing for blind was not satisfactory, then second date came and installer arrived but parts for installation were missing so had to wait a further 3 days...after having 2 people come out to measure up it was pretty disappointing to find that a part was missing...

Very friendly quotation. Shown samples of quality. Shown samples of finished look using photo's of other houses. Given brochure with photo's and information. Thought was put into street presentation as well as resale value. Happy to answer any questions asked about the product. Lowest quote out of a selection of three quotes. No extra for changes in colour or pattern. Time slots for product measure and installation were flexible and fitted with our lifestyle and free time. When a problem occured with the time slot of the product measure Half Price Shutters were very quick and cheerful about changing the time to a time that suited. Installation occured on time and within an hour. Unbelievably quick.... All electrical work was started three to four hours later (rain a factor here) and completed within an hour. We were cheerfully shown how to work the dials and every Shutter was checked, in front of us to make sure they were all in working condition. Very quick, hassle free friendly service.
Our main need for the Roller Shutters was because we have a problem with afternoon sun beating into the front rooms of the house. An added asset that we have gained by having the Roller Shutters installed is the fabulous change it has made to the attractiveness of the front of the house.

Salesman was on time and efficient. There was no hard sell marketing, and no advertising bill boards required. Fast installation after order signed. Installer (contractor) worked alone on 8 shutters and did them in less than 1 day. One measurement was incorrect due to measurer error, and shutter needed to be re-made and installed one week after others. However, Half Price Shutters worked quickly to rectify. Some shavings (shards) were left around outside for me to clean up (to save my dog's footpads!) 3 Electricians were needed (3 electronic shutters with remotes, and 2 electronic shutters with switches and a UPS were installed). However they tried to rush out without fixing the remotes to the walls in their respective rooms. In the end, they double-sided taped them to the walls but did not drill and hook them. As the overall order was close to $12,000 I think the customer service dipped at this point. With one or two blips, this was still an excellent service and product, with good quality shutters now on my home offering me security and environmental control.

Can not fault the service and the price . I would highly recommend Half Price Shutters to anyone looking to get them installed . From the first contact up until the shutters were ordered there was never any pressure to buy. The installation was such a professional and well organised process, was very impressed. THANKYOU I now feel safe again
