Loved staying there always had a great time. You can choose to dine in or walk outside to a row of great restaurants. Win, win situation. I love staying there occasionally they also have a great balcony view facing Brighton le sands beach. Must go
Approximate cost: $200-300
I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and the night of my wedding with my husband.
We checked in at about 3:30pm or so the day before the wedding and we were waiting about half an hour to be checked in. I'm not sure why it took that long because there were only a few people in front of us.
Checked in and the room was average however there was a bottle of wine and some chocolates waiting for us.
We settled in for the night and due to nerves, took me forever to fall asleep.... Only to be woken up at 3am to people next door singing and jumping around loudly. I rang reception to deal with it and after 15 mins, the people next door were still carrying on. One of my bridesmaids got up and went next door to kindly ask them to quieten down. She was met with one rude woman who basically said she didn't care, but luckily her friend was more understanding.
Checking out the day after my wedding was a fine and smooth process. Reception was very nice.
A while after I received a survey asking to rate their performance and include any comments. I commented that after 15 mins Reception didn't do anything about the inconsiderate people next door and it was poorly handled.
I received an email from the general manager apologising for my experience and said that he had spoken to the night staff to ensure this doesn't happen again and that he hoped we would give them another chance.
I have not been back since as the price is average and the quality and service is poor.
I would recommend this place as a second or third option, but it's definitely not my first pick.
The Novotel at Brighton Le Sands is in a great location right next to the beach and lots of awesome restaurants. I have booked this hotel on many occasions. Unfortunately I think the rooms and decor are a little dated and could use a bit of makeover. I also find the prices a tad expensive considering that you are in the suburbs. I was especially disappointed when I wanted to stay here for my wedding night and the cheapest price I was quoted was $350. I declined and went and stayed in one of the 5 Star city hotels for $199. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Absolutely agree with you!
We stayed here on our wedding night and the staff were lovely, they gave us a great room even though we turn up late from the reception.
Approximate cost: $200
nice and close to airport
I adore this hotel. It is a must stay for me every time I visit Sydney. The rooms are beautiful and the views are simply amazing. The staff are always very helpful and eager to help with any concern you may have, and they have a strong knowledge of the surrounding area - including restaurants, landmarks and even directions.
I cannot compliment this establishment enough - it is easily one of the best hotels in Australia.
Approximate cost: $220
good review
nice hotel, good location close to the airport
We stayed here on our Wedding night, overall it was a good experience. the rooms were a little dated, but the staff were friendly and they put on a good buffet breakfast.
Approximate cost: $300
Fantastic views. Great eating areas, and bars. Ideal for a few days of rest and relaxation. Probably not suitable for kids. Not a lot of facilities for them. A little pricey for facilities, bathroom etc quite basic. Very clean and tidy. Would be nice to see a bit more greenery in the foyers, hallways etc.
