We live close by and regularly order from Popular. Generally they are very good. The sweet chili chicken pizza is my favorite. We have only had one instance where they were below standard. It was a busy Friday night and we ordered two large Pizzas. It took 2 hours for them to get here and when they arrive they had clearly been reheated and burnt. Not pleasant and it did turn me off them for a while. Hoping it was just a once off. Generally they are very tasty.

Have just moved to the area and have just found WOMOW also. Wanted to order a pizza in local area but didn't want to spend the next year trying them all out to find out which one is best. On previous great reviews we gave these guys a go last night. Pizzas were very high quality though VERY thick - we probably ordered one too many pizzas not realising how full we would be after 3 slices! Free garlic bread and drink as part of standard service which was great and will definately be back for more. Wonder if they have a thin base version though for next time.....

I have driven past heaps of times and thought that it would probably be pretty ordinary and expensive. Then we heard a few reviews and thought we should try it. Rang up and ordered the large pizza which was much larger than I expected. It was delicious. Will definatley be returning for our next take out. Well done guys great pizza at great price.

I tried these guys last year 2009 and loved the bolognese Pizza an instant fave for me. last week I ordered a pasta delivered, and what a pasta not only was it sensational, but it was delivered faster than i could have made my own, well almost!

So if your looking to try a good pizza and pasta give Popular Pizza & Pasta a go!

No more LA BELLA for me! The pizza I just had makes LA BELLA taste like a crappy old dominos. Far out, after all those late nights on the town, and winding it up with a slice from LA BELLA Pizza. I will never be able to eat that again knowing for well that my taste buds would be getting ripped off by a inferior pizza!

Sorry LA BELLA you guys have just been beaten hands down.

Wow I must also say, a couple of the guy's working there are HOT!

There's nothing better than you favourite PIZZA place opening back up after the new year.

I have tried almost every pizza on Popular's menu, except the seafood! And that is because I am not a fan of seafood. I must say all the pizza's are devine and my favourite would have to be the BBQ chicken.

This would have to be one of the best pizza places in Southern Tas, and is by far the best in Glenorchy. The place looks great, and the pizza's are even better. I haven't tried the pasta as of yet, but if it is half as good as the pizza's it is going to beat anything Glenorchy has to offer hands down.

After much hype from my well respected friends and colleagues, I finally decided to give these guys another go and boy am I glad I did.

It was suggested that I request a special "not yet on the menu" dish that a friend of the owner had told me about so I did. After being grilled (in a good way) about how I knew about this dish and who had told me to ask for it, it was prepared for me but I wasn't allowed to leave the store before I had offerred my opinion on it.

I can say I will definately be back.

Overall the customer service I received was excellent (perhaps the staff that were rostered on that fateful night last year are long gone) and the quality of the food was even better.

There's nothing like ignoring customers to drive business away.

I'd heard some good things about the pizza offerrings from this relatively new business, but in all honesty, I wish I'd saved myself the trouble.

I wandered in to have a look at the menu and place an order. After deciding on what I wanted to order, I stepped forward toward the counter only to have the person taking orders completely ignore me to serve someone who had come in behind me.

Not only did he do this, after taking her order, he proceeded to wander out to the kitchen and still had not so much as acknowledged I was there.

When it comes to service, this is by far the worst I've experienced in recent times.

Needless to say, after that display, I was pretty sure they didn't want my money tonight so I left.

Alas, this means I can't comment on the quality of the food as I didn't get to try it.
