This place is a real gem, food is a bit pricy but so worth it!
Book in advance as hard to get in. Food is expensive but amazing, not the type of place you'd visit regularly unless you can afford it but the whole experience was quite magic. Had a fantastic meal, the ambience lovely and impeccable service!
I visited the quay restaurant when i visited sydney and the food and service was just amazing and is quite expensive but so worth it as the food was just delicious and stunning views of the harbour, I chose the 4 course menu and it was amazing. The pork cheek and wallaby tail with blood pudding and chocolate is the best main course I have ever had. The waiters were very knowledgeable and friendly and the famous Snow Egg dessert was delicious.

Great view, great food , great staff !!! yummy yummy food no matter what you order. However you'll have to pay the price and you'll have to book wayyyyyyy in advance
This is a ridiculously expensive place. It's also the sort of high class and 'fairytale' experience everyone have at least once. I went here for my father's birthday one year and the staff were fantastic (remember names, orders, etc using only memory), they were exceptionally cheerful and graceful.
The food was unique, fantastic but can also be an aquired taste at times.
The atmosphere was 'fairytale'-like. The tables weren't crowded together and even if fellow patrons were loud it didn't reach you too much.
Mind you my family had to book 6 months in advance so you would definitely need to call beforehand.
Need I say more than the absolute best meal and dining experience of my life. The tasting menu is worth every cent of the $220. Starting with the gorgeous raw marron served with young almonds, marmalade, green mango and cammomile. Followed by a crab congee, then rock lobster with squid and tapioca. The confit pig was also superb as was the quail and wagyu. But my favourite was the famous snow egg...oh em gee!!!!
I reccomened if you are in the vecinity, you must go there for the dining experience of a lifetime.

For a special occasion this is the place to be. Service, quality of food and ambiance is a class above the rest. One of the best restaurants in NSW without a doubt. The tasting menu gives you a chance to sample an array of their finest dishes coupled with recommended wines. Enjoy.
Approximate cost: $220.00+
unbelievable never before experienced dinner quality service and taste. Food was new and exciting with the famous snow egg seen on master chef living up to all expectation.
Approximate cost: $28
We did the 9 course degustation with matching wines. This was absolutely unbelievable food and wine. This restaurant speaks for itself, you don't get to be Australia's number 1 if you don't deserve it. The berkshire pork jowl with maltose crackling was one of the best dishes I've ever had. However at 330 AUD including tip this is an expensive meal.
Approximate cost: $50
I have been here twice and both times were lovely experiences. The first time was the best though, we went during the week and the service was amazing. For two people it cost $440 which included wines with every course. The second time was a Friday night and the service was not as good (compared to the previous experience). The cost the second time was $600 for practically the same meal. I would highly recommend for special occasions.
Approximate cost: $70
