Awesome place with great food and great selection of beers. Love the atmosphere of the place, even just to sit and have a beer at their bar
Love this place! If you're not sure if you like German food then this restaurant is a must! I love it's set up and the staff's uniforms. And the food is fantastic. The pork knuckle is definitely one to try - I personally love sauerkraut but it's certainly not for everyone. If you're wanting to stay local but try something different, give this little German hideaway a go! They have a fairly impressive range of German beers as well!
We recently dined at Rhinedorf and had the best pork knuckle for dinner. We have wanted to try this restaurant for so long and it definitely was worth the wait. The only problem with this restaurant is that it's on a very busy road with very limited parking. Try to go mid-week or as early as possible on the weekend otherwise you'll have to park a mile away. Their menu is decent but being 'german' food, what else do you need other than pork knuckle or schnitzel. They also have a good selection of german beers and wines and the dessert list is delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't fit in dessert - perhaps next time, we'll share a pork knuckle.
Approximate cost: $25 pork knuckle
The restaurant was not crowded with lots of seats available. The waitress that showed us the seats was not very welcoming and even smiling. The other waitress who served us was better and more into her job. The entree we had was garlic prawns. It was tasty and done well. The prawns were not dry and the sauce was great too. For the mains we had chicken schnitzel and pork knuckle. The schnitzel was cooked well and tasted great. The pork knuckle was cooked in beer and herbs. It also tasted great. The portion sizes were generous too. By the time we finished we could not even order any dessert. The atmosphere was calming and with the decorations you felt like it could have been a house in Germany. Worth coming back again.

Food sounds great, thanks for the review.
A fantastic German restaurant with mouth watering-food. A great range of German dishes are on offer as well as speciality beers and wines from Germany. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. Meal suggestions would be Goulash soup and Weiner Schnitzl.
thanks for sharing your experience.
A local German restaurant. Price is reasonable and close to home. Very quite and nice atmosphere and service is good.
Approximate cost: $25
The food here is fantastic! The dining experience is also great, it is a relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff who are very welcoming. We simply love this place and will definitely visit it again.
Approximate cost: $20.00
Quite a large restaurant. I think perhaps it is two dwellings opened up to be one. Despite the large area, it gets filled up, even mid week. The food is wonderful and the place is really laid back. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes really large. My friend had 3 entrees at $12 each and couldn't eat another thing. They looked like main size portions to me! BYO plus a bar as well.
Approximate cost: $22
It's hard to find something that is not stereotype German - having lived in Germany I know that Germans don't just eat sauerkraut and sausages all the time - I am glad I found Rhinedorf because they also serve 'family' food which I absolutely love - and have a great range of beers beyond the typical 'Lowenbrau'! :)
Recommend to book.
Approximate cost: $25
I loved the atmosphere of Rhinedorf - the costumes/uniforms they were wearing made a difference to the cultural atmosphere. Food was good but a little overpriced for some. Service was poor and slow (busy night?)
Approximate cost: $28.00
