When We first arrived in Brisbane we stayed in my Dads cravan here for about three weeks till we found somewhere to live. I couldn't believe how peaceful it was considering the area is very busy. They eveb let us keep our cat here for the duration ( cattery fees were gladly disposed of!) and the whole place is clean and very well run. Best caravan park around.
A really nice caravan park to stay in Brisbane. Easy to get to - just keep going up Logan Road (the longest road I've ever struck) and get off where it crosses Pacific Highway.
It's pleasant and tree lined, good roads, and lovely amenities like the pool and very well serviced and looked after bathroom and laundry facilities.
We stayed mainly in one of the family cabins which sleep a couple in a double bed and then have three bunk beds as well as a couch/seating area in the small kitchen. They are well fitted out with microwave and other cooking equipment so you can save and have a rest from take-away food when you are on holiday. Only down side is you have to take your own bedding and linen. But there are slightly more expensive cabins where this is provided.
Then they are close to all sorts of tourist parks and the city and good dining opportunities and Garden City Shopping Centre is an easy walk away.
A very pleasant place to stay and you can take pets by arrangement.
Approximate cost: $100 - 120
thanks
I stayed here when I first moved to Brisbane but couldn't remember the name. Thankyou for reminding me.
