After several attempts to make a booking, we finally managed to get a Saturday Night Booking. So we get there, and the place looks deserted, we get ushered to a table at the back, that is so tightly packed, if you are even a bit overweight, you have problems moving through the restaurant. The staff were friendly and polite. So definitely cannot fault the Service. We ordered the Entree & Mains. The Entree's were Bruschetta & antipasto, and were both quite good. For Mains, Chicken Roll, Scallopini and Rabbit Ragu. The chicken was nice, although apart from broccolini, no other vegetables. The Scallopini, was the most tasteless peice of meat, buried under about 100g of onions, and no other vegetables. The Sauce in the rabbit ragu was sensational, but ruined by the fact the pasta was badly undercooked. then the bill comes in at $220.70. We had previously heard good reviews about this restaurant from friends, but either the chef was on holidays, or it was a bad night, but we left there less than an hour after arriving, thinking that what we got was definitely not worth what we paid. But by the time we left the place was packed, and we couldn't understand why, so maybe they normally do okay, but our experience, definitely sub standard. Overall a very dissappointing experience. The only thing I can think of is the Waitress did say this was a New Menu.

Approximate cost: $30

One of the best Italian Restaurants Ive been to. The food is top quality. This is real Italian food cooked with love. I had the risotto with truffles - yum. Others had the lamb and veal both cooked just right. The share antipasto plate had a great range of tastes - all very tasty and fresh. We all enjoyed the cozy environment. Our table was next to the open fire which was great considering it was a cold winters night. Service was fantastic with the waiter offering suggestions - he knew his stuff. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for high quality Italian food.

Approximate cost: $30 per main meal
