Beautiful facility. My twins are having swim lessons.
Unfortunately some of the pool staff are overly aggressive. It is very hard to keep both boys within arms length. Every week I am getting told off by staff.
I find it extremely stressful & upsetting. Not sure whether I want to keep going or find another pool with friendlier, more understanding staff.
Approximate cost: $45
I'm not sure if I'm the right target market because I'm not a kid and prefer to just do laps but it was too crowded and the spa too large to be fully bubbly
Lovely pool, especially for kids as they can have hours and hours of fun on the play equipment in the pool. Great use of space and the way they have set the pools out. I like how the change rooms have safety gates so little kiddies can't run away when trying to get dressed etc.
Approximate cost: $6-$10
Will have to check this out in the lead up to summer.
Best gym I`ve ever been to by far. The facilities are state of the art and I have found the staff there to be extremely helpful & friendly. (First gym I`ve been to where I haven`t been harassed every week about paying extra money for PT sessions). Facs. include: gym, fitness classes, pools / wading pools, water slides, steam room, sauna, a water park for kids, creche and a cafe with great food at fairly reasonable prices. You could not talk me into joining a different gym if you paid me to leave!!!
Approximate cost: $35 p.mth
agree! love their facilities
My 2 kids 4 and 6 have just started swimming lessons here after the outdoor pool closed for winter. The centre is very busy with lots of classes happening at the same time. This is both a positive (as there are many class times to choose from) and a negative (as it's busy and noisy). You pay fortnightly for the lessons but the fee includes unlimited entry for the child and a parent. This makes it great value at around $32 per week per child. The kids enjoy staying for a swim after their lesson.
Just thought I'd drop you a line to say thanks for sharing your experience.
I swim here every morning and love it! The pools are awesome (though sometimes it is difficult to get a lap lane to swim in if bookings are heavy). Lots of fitness classes available. Two of the front counter staff are delightful and friendly; a couple of the others need a little help. Good parking available and a cafe if you need a refresher! Good little shop for bathers/caps/goggles etc also.
Approximate cost: $7
We took our two boys here to have a look and I must say we were impressed. There was plenty to do for the children despite it being a professional pool. The slides were a little pricier than I had expected but they were worth it because the boys enjoyed them so much. The staff are professional and polite and there are plenty of them. The most fantastic thing as a parent was the change rooms. It was the first time there was no discussion on who would take the children into which change room!
Approximate cost: $40
Excellent aquatic centre that is fresh, vibrant & new. My cousin swims here for the olympic trials and I was able to be part of the enthusiastic crowd. If you are afraid of heights a little, the bleachers are very high up and you can feel a little vertigo being so high above the pool. However proud to be in SA and will support it 100%. Never swam in the water.
My kids love coming here and is so lovely and new. Gets a bit busy at times. They have these huge family change rooms that really helps the whole family can get the kids organised and themselves in privacy.
so agree with you its fun for the kids
Great complex, nice and new. Lots of different things to do, waterslides, cafe, Nice place to veg, If your old like me, try to go when not too many kids around.
