Changed to Dodo because price was good. Worst mistake ever!!! Internet is unusable for most of the day. What used to take 10 mins, takes at least an hour.

I use dodo for my home computer,as they have the cheapest plans around.for $89 a month I get more Internet then I can actually use, which suits me and my family, esp the kids fine.i do have issues with their call centres,if you need to speak to someone it would be good to speak to people more English fluent, but in saying that, their technical support is always very good and have helped me out numerous times.

A dissapointing effort from this telecommunication provider . i had and suffered the contract with these guys believing at the start it may be cheaper than optus....as the sales pitch had me believing. my previous optus contract was about 89dollars a month for everything. The dodo bills that came in month after month were always well in excesss of 100 often towards 140. The extra charges they added made this ridiculous and very expensive not to mention the fact that the customer service was terrible. Try if you dare but, avoid any contract till you experience a few monthly bills for yourself.

Hi Darrenn2, We have often wondered what this company was like in terms of service (and related expense) and having read the various reviews on this (and other sites) it is clear that they are not a business worth bothering with. Thank you to all the WOMO members who have taken the time and effort to compose their own reviews, detailing their personal experiences. After all, Word of Mouth is the ONLY way! Regards, Reeces

I'M NOT HAPPY WITH DODO WIRELESS BROADBAND. SIGNED UP A YEAR AGO TO GET A FREE PAD, THE PENDO I WAS GIVEN IS USELESS, THE WIRELESS CONNECTION FAILS MORE TIME THAN IT SUCCEEDS, AND THE PRICE FOR THE INTERNET IS HIGH EVEN AT $9.90 A MONTH, CONSIDERING IT ONLY WORKS OCCASIONALLY. IF YOUR LOOKING INTO THIS SPECIAL OFFER, KEEP LOOKING IS MY ADVICE.

Approximate cost: $2.50

Dodo provide the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Constantly transferred to different departments, unable to understand them, told to be at home for a technician to come then nobody comes and as a result end up waiting over 3 weeks to get my internet connected. Can't understand how they get away with such poor service.

Hi Angiec5, thanks for a well written review. Unfortunately, it is apparent that Telcos in this country have little to fear, as very few are actually held to account, which is disturbing in and of itself. In addition to this, despite increasing complaints being lodged with the Telecommunications Ombudsman with each passing year, justice is seldom done. Having endured a wrongful (and unlawful) disconnection (with another service provider), we contacted the ombudsman well armed with undeniable evidence detailing the abuse and lies we had been subjected too. We found it illuminating that the ombudsman in question appeared more concerned with ‘how’ we had obtained the evidence (yes, our method was completely legal) instead of ‘jumping for joy’ that they had implicated a major Telco in various ‘unlawful’ dealings. Despite having an active ‘Priority Assistance’ notification in place, our service was disconnected and the afore-mentioned government agency was unable to rectify the situation, which was beyond frustrating. Thanks for a concise review. Regards, Reeces

Was using dodo for unlimited dial up at around $30 per month it was good while it lasted but sometimes it wouldn't connect at all. Contacting customer service is almost impossible and you do get eventually get transferred to other countries for service who just tell you to call back in the day time. I later on googled and found a company that was charging less than a third of the price (silly me for waiting 4 years) Definitely wont be going back to dodo.

Always misunderstandings and mistakes take place. It is frustrating trying to understand their staff who don't know English properly. I have had several incidents with them. And a lot of miss-communication. If wasn't locked into a contract I would b long gone.
