So disappointing.... tried to order our favourite dishes. Butter Chicken, Beef Rogan Josh. Pulao Vegetarian Rice, Cucumber Raita and Pappadams. Pappadams unavailable!!! What the!!! A Indian Restaurant that doesn't have Pandora's??? Who would have thought!!

Nothing flash about this place, but were just looking for a place with great butter chicken, and this place definitely delivered :) It was FANTASTIC!! I'd only ever had butter chicken twice in Australia before, and one had been so bad it had put me off, so now the Indian Village have won me over. Fantastic service, so friendly and obliging, and great food, what more can we ask for :)

Plenty of parking available if you wish to eat in, but they also do take away. Inside there is seating for about 50 or so people. The decor is nice, with Indian pictures and music playing to great a relaxed atmosphere. There we two options for food, you can order off the menu or part take in the buffet. The buffet was $29.50 per person (adult) prices vary for childen and toddlers - which i thought was good. Very friendly and prompt service. Its BYO with no corkage, which is good f there is a particulur drop you like to have with your Indian. The buffet has hot and cold options and caters for vegetarians. Restrooms were located outside across a small court yard. I quite like this as it means you never end up sitting next to the toilets while having your meal. There were umbrellas available for when its raining. Buffet food was not too spicy, its tailored to the angosaxon palate, but was very tasty. Hot food was hot and the salads were fresh. Overall a good experience. If you've not had much experience with Indian food, then this place is the place to go to kick it off.

Approximate cost: $24.00

Our family enjoyed the food here but we did find it a bit greasy - but delicious. You can't go wrong with butter chicken. They do banquets on Fri & Sat nights for only $29.50 per person which is a very good deal.

They have an all you can eat buffet for about $25. Be very careful when eating the hot beef vindaloo as it is very very hot (the curry is bright red in colour which gives some indication of the strength).

Approximate cost: $20
