It is at this place that I first tasted Israeli couscous (little pasta-tasting spheres about 5mm in size per grain). The chef certainly knows how to prepare robust and aromatic tagines to go with the lovely couscous. But if your tolerance for spice is low, you might not truly enjoy this place as we were informed that the tagines are pre-cooked (that's why the flavours are so rich and wonderful), so the spice level can't really be decreased. For our meal, we order a chicken tajine and a lamb tagine and both were equally lip smacking. If you visit on Tuesdays, its BYO! The service is personable and the general feel of the place is quite cosy. Great winter warmer.

Approximate cost: $33
