I have been going to Brad and Phil at Burton Motors now as my mechanics forever. They always tell you the straight truth what needs doing with your car, every repair or service they have done has been excellent. They have never sold me any parts I didn't need. There was a time about 5 years ago the transmission went in the EL Falcon work ute, I dropped it off there to put in a reco automatic transmission. Completely forgot to ask how much it was, pretty silly of me, considering it was a minimum $3000 job. It was to be gone a couple days and it dawned on me only just prior to when I went to collect the car. I called another mechanic to get a price, only so I'd have an idea what it would know what I should be charged when I got there, was told $3,500. Panicked, i rang another got $3,350.. By the time I got to Brads, his bill was $2,800. He had ample opportunity to charge whatever he liked, as I had left it without getting a quote. He didn't.
He won my first choice of mechanic from that day on. Needless to say his work is better than almost all others too. Go to Burtons. You won't be disappointed.
