This is a very, very efficient place, with outstanding service, reasonable prices, great deals, and most importantly, delicious pizzas. You can also watch TV whilst waiting for your order and, if they get too busy, they offer you refreshments while you wait. Try their delicious garlic pizzas or the hot Mexican - quite simply delectable. When visiting friends in the area, this is always our pizza place of choice. Don't be put off by it being located on a busy road - Parking is abundant at the rear of the place. Give it a shot.

What can I say? This take away shop has been a long time coming in this area. The burgers are fresh and delicious, and the chips are superb. Really old style food and service, it's like being in the country. Service with a smile, and very reasonably priced too. I wasn't going to review this place, because I have regarded it as my little secret, but, what the heck, share the love (and delicious bill of fare) and reveal it to all locals who are sick of dodgy, greasy, second rate take away joints, and appreciate a really clean, fresh and delicious take away meal. I really thought shops like these no longer existed, but these guys have proved me wrong. You will NOT be disappointed.

This review is for A.B.C. Milkbar, Hornsby NSW

At this eatery you get great service and a fairly mean milkshake, but we had their burgers once and never again. The meat appeared to have been "processed", in other words, high salt content with a lot of preservatives. We could not consume them. Chips and scallops rock here, but I prefer the burgers at the take away down the road. If these guys used "fresh" meat patties for their burgers, then it would be 5 stars all the way..!

We drive from the Hornsby shire 2-3 times a year to eat here. I must say, they have the service down pat. The place is like a production line, churning out burgers and fries (etal) for the masses, and when you visit this place, you'll know what I mean by "masses". It's always jam packed with hungry diners, sometimes half way down the street, and rightfully so. The food is always fresh and abundant and the way they take your order is simply ingenious. I guess you don't stay in business for that long (over half a century..!) if you're not doing something right. And these people really do it right. It's simple, basic, efficient and quite delicious - no more, no less.

This review is for Fisherman's Wharf Fish & Chips, Woy Woy NSW

We came here after a long day's fishing (irony aware:). We had heard that it was "a really good place to eat" Not only did they get the order wrong, but they tried to overcharge us almost $20 on the bill.!! Not to be outdone, the chips were fair, but our fish & fish cocktails were very substandard, dry, tasteless and with that horrible black skin evident. Bingo... a TRIFECTA of ineptitude. My mate polished his off, mainly due to hunger - I threw half my food away. There are far better fish & chip shops closer to home.

Been buying and selling stuff here since the early days of eBay. Seen a few changes over the years, some good, some bad. It's always a good place to source stuff you can't find anywhere else, eg, the shops. Always stick to reputable sellers, as you can lose money (Say if you buy that rare "Rembrandt" outta Nigeria from "Mr. Wonderful 123", you know you ain't getting your goods. I don't like the fact that you can't negative a buyer for doing you wrong, but buyers can negative sellers for the most banal things. Apart from that, it's not a bad place to trade. Seller fees are fairly reasonable. It has become quite user friendly of late. In the "old days", some overseas payments used to arrive as cash in envelope:)

Not the best Franklins in the region. It appears to always be a little more expensive than other Franklins stores (so much for price standardization across stores) - some of the staff are quite friendly, whilst others offer service with a scowl. FWIW, if you are local try the one at Westleigh - It always offers better value.

Went here once ages ago for a 40th birthday party. The food was quite delicious, but the portions were a little small. Heaps of hands (read: birthday guests) at the table grabbing at the rare available morsels. Some of the LARGER hands found greater success at securing vittles. (I have seen these HANDS in action before:) The service was very good - efficient and friendly, and the place appeared clean. I will try it again when the competition at the table is less fierce - I may actually leave satisfied this time.

Everyone raves about this place. Let me set you guys straight. Whilst the food is good, without being exceptional, it's the service that really puts you off this place. As soon as you walk in, you get THE ATTITUDE. Guys, you are in Australia, not Greece, where THE ATTITUDE is expected. Please, respect your customers a little - A smile goes a long way in the service industry:) I can't bring myself to return to this place, so I will stick with "the one up the road" where I'm treated like a human being and where I get a far better meal anyway.

We used to eat here a fair bit. Pizzas have always been fresh and hot with delicious toppings and generous helpings. Lately, the bad has outweighed the good. The last couple of times, the crust appeared to taste stale, and the pizzas were very dry. And it's not cheap by any means. We have no intention of ever returning.
