We had a great experience here. They stocked a wider range of brands than some of the larger stores, with comparable and even competitive prices. When we bought our top of the range carseat, they had accidently advertised it at the price of the next model down (which was a significant drop), but honoured their mistake and gave it to us at the discounted price. In addition to that, we got a discount for purchasing multiple items and they allowed us to put the items on layby. Parking was difficult and rather incovenient.

Have been so far for dinner and breakfast. The menu has loads of options, something to suit everyone in terms of taste and budget. For breakfast you will find a huge feed for under $15. The breakfast we did was for a birthday and the service was impeccable with a huge slice of cake for the birthday girl on the house. Brekky is served until 4pm, so great for those people who like the idea of a brekky menu but also love a sleep-in! Self-serve water available which is convenient so you don't have to keep asking the staff for refills! The only thing we found annoying is that the "patio" area is their smoking area. The design of this area allows the smoke to spread to other tables in the area, which we found unpleasant. If it wasn't for that, the outdoor area is a pleasant area to dine in, and not as noisy as the main restaurant.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere - not too noisy, so great for meeting up with friends for a chat. Great quality meals - a group of 12 of us had about 10 different meals for dinner and we were all very impressed with them. Great range of cakes for desserts and lovely hot chocolate and coffees. Staff were friendly and patient!

This review is for Micolino Caffe E Latte, Doncaster VIC

Tucked away at the back of the little arcade walkway at 700 Doncaster Rd, this little cafe serves great foccacias and sandwiches at great value, especially when compared with most other cafe venues. Not a practical place to take a pram unless you're sitting outside, as the seating is very limited indoors (a few tables and a bench with stools). However, great for a take-away lunch. I have found staff to be pleasant.

This review is for Tunstall Square Fruit Market, Donvale VIC

Overall I have had good experiences here, however it does depend on the day and the staff! What I find best about this place is the different quality of produce that you can choose to purchase - in general, fruit for sale inside is of higher quality and more expensive, produce outside is generally of lower quality and cheaper. I find this very convenient, as I can choose produce according to what I need. If I want small produce that I will use in the next few days, or that will be cut up into pieces for fruit salad or stir fry, I'll buy cheaper outside produce. If I want larger quality pieces of fruit for a platter, I'll buy the more expensive inside products. Often I'd shop with my daughter and the staff were very willing to put my purchases in a bix box and walk them to the car for me, even when I was in the carpark on the other side of tunstall square!

This review is for Dunyazad Lebanese Restaurant, Balwyn North VIC

I find Dunyazads a great place to eat when I feel like something a little different. The banquets are a fabulous way to experience a variety of middle eastern style dishes - and they have a wonderful policy of extra dishes at no extra charge if you finish those availableand are still hungry (or you just particularly enjoyed them and want more!). This makes it terrific value for big eaters! The staff are pleasant, although can take a little time to serve you on a busy night. Friday and Saturday nights include entertainment from belly dancers.

This review is for Urban Retreat Cafe Lounge Bar, Doncaster East VIC

I enjoy eating at this little cafe lounge. It has a modern feel and the menu is mainly italian style. When I've eaten in the main section, I've found it a little crowded and noisy, however the lounge section at the back of the main area is quite pleasant. The dimmer lights and layout of the room makes it ideal for a quieter dinner for two or if you want to catch up with friends in a more relaxed environment. Meals don't arrive particularly fast, so if you're really hungry I'd suggest an appetiser, however they taste great and are reasonable value for money.

This review is for The Pavilion Doncaster, Doncaster VIC

With 5 areas, the pavilion is bound to have a table or a lounge to suit your occasion. I have been there for a few different occasions now, from a childrens birthday party held at lunch time in the function room, through to dinner for 2. There is a bar with a big screen and heated outdoor decks, a lounge with a fire and comfy lounge chairs, and a bistro which is split into 2 levels. The lower section has just a few tables laid out in a "foyer" type area, which is where you're likely to end up if you don't book in advance! The outdoor dining area off the foyer area of the bistro can be used for alfresco dining, but I've found that in winter causes the "foyer" area to become quite chilly as people wander in and out for smoking. The food tastes great, is well presented and in my experience the chefs are willing to be helpful and obliging with regard to dietary requirements where possible.

Worth the trip just for the unique experience! The buffet (all you can eat) allows you to place your own choice of vegetables, meat and sauces from the buffet into a little bowl. Then the chef cooks it all up on a huge hot wok, sweeps it all off the wok into your bowl and you return to your table to eat. They have some suggested recipes (don't use too much chilli oil!!!!) if you're not sure what will taste good.

Lovely atmosphere, with the ducks in the pond, plants and flowers throughout, a gift shop and a cafe. The food at the cafe is lovely, although a little pricey. The gift shop is also a little pricey, but has a lot of lovely and some unique gifts if you're looking for something a bit special / different. In addition to their nursery, they have a good range of artificial flowers for indoor decor.
