Have tried a number of fish and chips shops in the area, but this is by far the best, so only go there now. They must use good oil and replace it frequently, because the chips and batter are always beautifully crisp. They are very well organised and quick. I place my orders by phone, and they tell me how many minutes it will be ready in, usually "10-15 minutes". They are usually very accurate with this, unlike others. In probably hundreds of orders I have placed, they have never made a mistake or overcharged me. And their service is always gracious and smiling.

I have used this store often to buy items for handyman projects, house maintenance etc. The staff are very knowledgeable and very willing to give useful advice and suggestions, which has often saved me time and money. They are small enough to have the personal touch but large enough to stock almost anything you could want.

Economical, good service, intimate atmosphere. Good value for money, pretty good example of the Mexican genre. Fun presentation of the menu, good special deals on some nights. Good overall down market dining experience. Enjoyed it more than the Taco Bill in Templestowe, which has more of the family restaurant and less of the Mexican feel.

Went there for my son's birthday because he requested it, but frankly was very disappointed, not good value for money. Margarita cost $14.95 but had hardly any tequila in it. Don't know how this sort of place can survive when there are so many good low cost restaurants in the area.

Very happy with this restaurant, very friendly staff, have been there 3 times now, going again tonight. Last time I had a special old bottle of wine I had kept for a special day, and they were very attentive, decanting it to get rid of the sediment and letting it breath for a while to get the best out of it. Food was superb as was the service. Highly recommended, and I don't say it lightly.
