Very friendly, smiley service - and obliging with special requests. This cafe was one of the first ones my husband and I tried in the popular Bellair St cafe strip, and it contributed to our falling in love with the Kensington experience.
My few visits to Fruits of Passion have all resulted in great quality beverages, as long as I was prepared to wait a loooong time to receive them.
Kensington Vet is a lovely, calm, competent place where you know your animal gets the best possible treatment and attention. Very happy with the thorough service.
Pizzas are really nice from here. I can vouch that Kensington Pizza do the BEST gluten free pizza bases I have found to date. Perhaps ask to hold the chilli on the Thai chicken pizza, unless you're up for some little chunks that will knock your socks off!
Absolutely beautiful fish and chips from here. Best to ring ahead with your order and then collect - saves waiting time, because this place is so understandably popular.
Staff are always very friendly and efficient. Very helpful when taking our passport photos and submitting the application.
Very nice noodle dishes at Sumos. Staff are lovely and very obliging with customised dishes. Something for the whole family here. The kids like more plain vegies, while we parents can get the spicy stuff.
Approximate cost: $12
Delicious Thai food. Nowhere else can you find a chicken curry as beautiful as this one. The kids love their veg spring rolls, satay chicken skewers and roti.
Approximate cost: $15
After reading the recommendations here on WOMOW, I took my 8yo daughter to Greg Barton. She needed a filling, but was quite happy to go back for it after meeting him. Her words: "He's really gentle and really good with kids." The filling was no drama whatsoever. I thoroughly recommend this dentist. Even better, it's a super-short walk from Melbourne's Parliament train station, and has a McDonalds a couple of doors away where your child can relax with a cheeseburger beforehand!
