I went along there by chance one day. I was looking for a number of things, and it was a new place to me so didn't know where anything was. I had a number of friendly encounters with the staff, all really helpful, it was so refreshing to be asked if I needed assistance at a hardware store. Most of the time at the big stores you have to track someone down to get any assistance. I've since been back and had the same experience.

For a tiny little town this general store has most things you would need to get by until you got to a supermarket. They do fresh baked bread and pastries on weekends and have all the major papers. The other niceties like lovely local cheeses and preserves go well with their beaut bread. The people there are really friendly and helpful to locals and visitors to the town alike. I love going in there as it's the cleanest tidiest general store I've ever been in.

Fresh food imaginative combinations, lots of local produce, really nice place to have a meal. I'm constantly amazed at the variety and quality of foods that come from our region. I have been as a cafe customer and also attended functions catered for by these creative women. The food has always been totally delectable.

The food and atmosphere is always really great here. This hotel specialises in food for people with dietary needs like coeliacs and people with gluten intolerance. I fortunately don't have these problems but family members do and it's such a pleasure to know I can bring them here and they'll enjoy the same dining experience that I have. We've been on music nights and ordinary nights and always had the same great evening. Good food and great company and service.

I fortunately don't live near these guys or I'd bee the size of a house. I always stop if they're open as it is. Their cakes and pastries are exquisite. I'm salivating at the remembrance of the last morsel I bought from them. Yummo. They use real ingredients, none of this pretend butter and cream. You can really taste it. My favourites are the tiny petit fours which go down a treat at a dinner party.

This review is for Spotlight, Bayswater VIC

I nearly always find what I'm looking for at the Bayswater Spotlight. The staff I have asked when looking, have always tried their best. I sometimes think there could be a few more staff about, but I suppose when you have such a big store, they can be around somewhere working and you just don't see them.

I've been with friends during the day, it's a convenient spot for us to meet and they have good equipment for small fry. I kinda got the feeling that they had other priorities, as in not us. If it were not for the convenience of it's location and parking plus the play equipment for kids, I don't think we would bother otherwise.

This review is for Yarra Coffee, Lilydale VIC

The coffee is always spectacular here. I go out of my way to get there (it's a considerable detour) and buy 1 kg of beans at a time so we have it at home. There is always something tasty to try with your coffee and the staff are happy to let you taste a new variety of coffee before you buy it. When you buy by the kilo that's a useful thing! The drive home is always lovely if I have some of the beans ground up, aromatherapy!

No complaints or criticism but no bouquets specifically either. Just a reasonably well-stocked store whose staff are helpful. Things are actually improving too, I seem to be able to get more things I use locally now which is good.

Jan is a really talented silk painter and has gorgeous silk painted work with particular emphasis on Australian motif. I bought a gorgeous scarf for myself. I reckon you'd be able to get excellent gifts for overseas very reasonably priced.
