One of the best zoos in the world. Melbourne Zoo offers an interactive zoo without putting the animals through demeaning displays. They host talks and have lots of enclosures where you can learn about animals, their unique traits and what we can do to help them in the wild. The gift store is wonderful too. Over the years they have increased their focus on highlighting lots of Eco friendly and fair trade gifts.

One of the gems of Melbourne providing a fabulous pick your own berry experience. For about $12 you can head down and take 1/2 a kilo of whatever berries you like home. If you pick more, you just pay $12kg for any kilo over. It is literally one of our favourite family activities.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Victoria. The caramel bar is our favourite dessert whether it be dining in the restaurant or ordering room service. Cocktails are amazing!

Our favourite winery of the Yarra Valley. The set menu is the way to go. It used to also be in the entertainment book but I'm not sure if it's in this years. It would be a shame if it wasn't as it usually encourages a visit from us and gives us a kick up the butt to go again, and we end up back again and again before winter hits again. It really is beautiful in the Summer.

We love staying here. We usually book a deal through the entertainment book when they have valley parking and buffet included. It has decent rooms and a lovely pool. It also is home to one of our favourite restaurants.

This is a family favourite. We visit at least once a year with the Entertainment card and sometimes two, three or more. It's worth the travel with the delicious food, amazing dessert platters and gorgeous beach view.

This is one of my favourite specialty juice bars. All organic and vegan, the owner knows her stuff and it shows.

One of the old favourites. This really is an incredible venture. A pay as you feel vegetarian buffet. Please remember to offer a little more if you can afford as this helps to cover the costs of those that aren't as well off.

Great restaurant with friendly staff and delicious meals. They have a pretty impressive function room too.

One of the Yarra Valleys best. The winery itself is beautiful with wine tasting the centre focus of visits with a lovely large rounded bar. The cafe is just as nice featuring simple but well presented meals and tapas. The summer periods are wonderful sitting outside.
