Good fish and chips these days is getting harder and harder to find, so it was refreshing to find these guys not too far from our locality of Hope Island. We ordered a meal for two and had grilled garlic butter dory which was just as mouth watering as the shop assistant suggested. Everything was fresh and crunchy and hot. Will definitely be going back and sharing the love :)

I'm so rapt as I just sold my bike using these guys after I have had it for sale for months in a printed publication. I listed my motorcycle online easily, late at night in the comfort of my own home and only cost me $10 . Sold in 2 weeks! Yay!

Lovely outdoor atmosphere with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Delicious entrees, try the authentic spring rolls...not the regular deep fried stuff, but all fresh and very more-ish with the tangy sauce. A taste sensation!
Approximate cost: $14 - $20
Really enjoyed the food, absolutely delicious. Have taken quite a few visiting interstate friends to this quaint little place with its outdoor setting. Won't break the bank.

We had the half price menu and had the Barouti. I have had it there a year ago and it was delicious. But this time, the bugs and fish were dried out and not enough creamy sauce. It was nice but if I'd paid full price, I would not have been happy at all. It was priced at what I would expect to pay for the meal we received. Service was excellent.
One beef...I found the half price menu a little misleading in as much as the prices displayed are already half price.
Approximate cost: $25
I have been to a lot of hairdressers that charge like a wounded bull and don't really deliver. But I recently stumbled on this tucked away salon that give old fashioned service and genuine hospitality and manners. If you want a decent haircut and colour at a decent price, by people who really seem to care and take interest in their customers, go see Cathy.
