This review is for The Pancake Parlour, Canberra ACT

Pancake Parlour is one of the most overrated restaurant in Canberra. The service is horribly slow (once, they took 45 minutes to serve a stack of pancakes), the food is not value for money (though the portions are quite huge). They do have a dendy deal where you can get a stack for pancakes and a ticket for $15 which is quite a good deal. Other than that, I normally would not dine at Pancake Parlour.

Their burgers are definitely a more healthy option when compared to fast food restaurant and yet affordable which is really nice. However, I do find the chicken burger abit bland. The restaurant is always quite packed at night, so normally, I would order a takeaway and go to the foodcourt instead to enjoy my meal. The staff are really friendly and efficient.

The food at scholars is not bad. I've been there for Yum Cha and dinner several times. I prefer going on weekdays though cause on weekends, they have so many people and service is really slow. I particularly like the cod fish from the dinner menu ($25++) and the baby abalone from the yum cha menu. The prices at scholars are abit on the high side when compared to other dickson restaurants. The service on most days is okay.

With its rate, I think aspire hotel is one of the most affordable yet comfortable hotels in Sydney. The rooms are very clean and spacious and have all the necessary amenities. The location is very central, takes about a 5 minute walk to Chinatown/darling harbour. Parking is $25 overnight, cheaper than most hotels. This staff are really friendly too!

This review is for Kopitiam Cafe, Ultimo NSW

The cafe looks pretty old but it serves quite delicious Malaysian cuisine. I've tried the chicken rice (available on weekends only), it taste quite authentic but I find it a little salty.Still, Their Nasi Lemak and roti canai are really delicious. The prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurant in the area. Plus, their portions are huge. The service is okay, normally there's only one or two wait staff who acts as cashiers as well. If the restaurant is busy, it is a lil hard to get their attention.

This review is for Lemon Grass Thai Restaurant, Canberra ACT

One of the best Thai restaurant in town. The restaurant has a very nice ambience, it's quiet and peaceful. I love their curries but their saffron rice is a must try! The prices and portions reasonable. I recommend making a booking if you're heading for dinner, they are quite busy during that time.

The doctors here are very patient and knowledgeable as compared to other clinics that I've visited. There isn't any bulk billing as such you should expect to pay at least $80 for consultation. Still, the doctors are really attentive to patients' needs. The reception staff are very friendly too

This review is for Mind Games, Canberra ACT

There is a great range of games here but they are generally more expensive than departmental stores or online. They do have some exquisite games and chess set which you may not find elsewhere. The staff are really friendly and are willing to assist you in your purchases.

This review is for Top Goods Asian Groceries, Dickson ACT

Top goods has a good selection of Asian food. I always buy the prima taste pack there cause it appears to be cheaper than any other Asian grocers in Dickson. The other products are competitively priced too.
