Daily Market is very conveniently located for students and they have a huge range of Asian snacks, frozen food, and seasonal vegetables. The store looks clean and spacious. However, for the convenience, their prices are on the high side compared to other asian groceries store in Canberra.Be prepared to pay at least 10% more.

The shop looks really messy and dusty. Once, I went in to get dried lotus roots but the ones on the shelves are expired. When I reported it to the owner, she told me rudely that it doesnt really matter since it's dried and I was quite disappointed with her reply. The prices there are okay and they have quite a huge range of asian food. Still, I am doubting the quality of their products since I came across many of them which is expired. Definitely wont go there again.

This review is for Mega Convenience Store, Dickson ACT

The staff at Mega are very friendly, probably one of the nicest I've ever met. However, the range at Mega is not as wide as other Asian Grocers in the area. The shop is quite small and can get quite cramped when there are other shoppers. The prices are not very competitive and they are generally more expensive than other stores. Still, the lady owner is very friendly and is always willing to render help if you need.

Asia Quay is probably the best Asian Grocer in Canberra. Their store is quite big and has a wide range of asian snacks, soup bases and frozen food. Their prices are very competitive. I have compared their prices with other Asian Grocers and I find them the cheapest most of the time.

This review is for Din Tai Fung, Sydney NSW

The Xiao Long Baos at Din Tai Fung is the nicest dumplings I have ever tasted. They are freshly made and taste delicious. It costs $12.80 for eight which is quite reasonable. The noodle dishes and fried rice are delicious too! The restaurant gets very busy at night or weekends. Wait time can get up to an hour. I'm not sure if they allow phone bookings, if they do, it's best to make reservations. The service is efficient and quick. If you love dumplings, you should definitely visit Din Tai Fung.

I went there for dinner twice when I was in Sydney and they never fail to disappoint. I love the duck dishes in Nine Dragons, they are delicious. Try the fried rice too. The portions are quite huge. The restaurant get pretty busy at night and service can get quite slow. I waited for quite a while before my food is served. The prices are quite comparable to restaurants in Haymarket.

The Yum Cha at Emperor Garden is undoubtedly one of the best in Chinatown. They have a huge range of dim sims. The waiters/waitresses pushes them around in trolley carts and you pick them off. The service is quick and efficient. For 2 person, expect to pay about $50 or more.

The food at iTaiwan is quite good. I love the steamed cod fish and their double boiled soup. Do try the braised minced pork rice. The service can be quite slow. Most of the time, they only have two wait staff. The owner is very friendly though, he always greet with a smile. You can order through a touch screen computer beside your table but the computer isnt very responsive. Still, the prices and portions are quite reasonable.
