I have utilised LPC services many times in the last six months and will continue to do so. My cats really like Karen and I feel really comfortable leaving them in her care. I know they'll be talked to, fed, watered, patted, given some treats and importantly, that their litter trays will always be fresh. And I get pics of the girls, which makes me happy! Comms with the LPC office is also great; I value the responsiveness and customer orientation.

Felt very comfortable leaving out cat, Lenny with Marty while we went away for the weekend. Definitely appreciated the videos Marty sent us as it was our first trip away since we got our kitten. Will definitely be booking Marty next time we're away!!

The staff over the phone where very helpful and accommodating when making my booking, and flexible when I had to make changes to my dates. Communication via emails was clear. Kerrie was very pleasant to deal with and took every request on board with courtesy and care. It helped that I could meet her before leaving for my trip. The daily updates kept me at ease so I could enjoy my holiday knowing Rexy was in good hands. Rexy was very happy are well cared for when I returned. The first few days I had Kristen who, even though we had not met, I felt very comfortable having her taking care of my Rexy. As I said before the daily updates left me feeling happy and relaxed to enjoy my holiday knowing my baby was taken care of. So glad I found Lonely Pets Club and will definitely be booking for all my future trips!!

We have used Lonely Pets Club twice now for short holiday breaks. We have been lucky to have the same carer for our dog who took excellent care of her. The carer kept us well informed and sent photos which gave us peace of mind our dog was happy and we could enjoy our holiday.

I have been using Lonely Pets Club for many years now. We are in the Bayside areas and Paul and his wife Lili are fantastic carers for our pets when we go away. We have dogs, cats and fish and I have absolutely no qualms leaving them in Paul's hands. Paul also makes sure our garden is watered and that the house is secure in our absence. He is a gem.

I've used Lonely Pets Club for a few years now to look after my cats when I go on short breaks (2-5 days). I've had a few carers over this time and they've all been great. They do food, water, litter but also hang out for a bit to give the cats a pat and some attention. They send me text messages to let me know how the cats are going and the puss cats always seem relaxed, happy and well cared for when I get home.

Won't use again. LPC advertises itself as an organisation with employees, but isn't. Is a group of disconnected franchisees, and any issues are the responsibility of the franchisee. Had issues with our care, due to unchanged litter which resulted in cats going elsewhere and damaging furniture. This wouldn't have happened if the carer had contacted me (I'd expressly said litter had to be changed due to picky cats and we had four other bags of litter in the house). Then was bounced back and forth for months between franchisee and organisation for the promised payment for couch cleaning. The issue with the care was frustrating, but accidents happen. For me the big issue was communication and unclear responsibilities between head office and franchisees.

Thank goodness for Amanda! She has taken care of my two fur babies twice now and I will continue to use her. Amanda has a special way of making you feel comfortable whilst away from your fur babies. I’m very thankful my 2 cats were well looked after.

Shinko cared for our elderly cat, Tabitha over a few days. Shinko was outstanding and by far and away the best cat carer that we have ever had. She sent a photo & txt at each visit so we were assured that everything was ok and we cannot thank her enough. Most impressive service from Shinko & Loney pets club. 10 out of 10

We have been using their service for a few years now, and our kitties are very well looked after each and every time. Having four cats in the household used to mean that we cannot go on holidays for more than a day (which effectively meant no holidays, ever) but that all changed when we discovered this fantastic cat sitting service offeredby Lonely Pets Club. Now we are able to pack the bags and get away for a break, knowing the kitties will be well cared for in our own home by another cat lover while we are away. Highly recommend them to cat parents who deserve some human alone time once in a while.

Great service - have been a member for a few years and used them several times. Recently had Toula caring for my cat whilst I was away and she was keen to meet before the booking started. She was lovely and I felt confident that all would be well. Returned home to find a relaxed & happy cat, which was wonderful. Highly recommend the service and Toula.

Excellent business providing quality care for our beloved animal companions in their homes. The carers are based in your local area and are animal lovers. They are security checked and the booking process is reliable and easy. The price is reasonable and this option is preferable to boarding kennels and catteries.

We use Lonely Pets on a regular basis. Morven our chief carer is amazing. Our two cats can be quite timid with new people bur she has a way with them. Could be the fact that she feeds them but they always appear happy and well cared for in our absence. We get updates via text every day to say they are both AOK. It is the company and the staffs duty of care towards my dog when they are under their supervision. No details of the other dog were taken when she was bitten. I don't know what diseases the other dog who bit boo has/had. ether the other dogs shots and vaccination are unto date. Nor was boo taken or suggested to be taken to the vet. even though it is clearly outlined in the companies terms and condition.

My family were facing a stressful time with hospitalization, holidays etc... and it was such a comfort to have our lovely dog cared for daily by an incredibly kind and caring person, Sylvia. I recommend Lonely Pets, the process was easy to navigate and the level of service was brilliant. Sylvia sent a couple of reassuring photos and texts while I was away, much appreciated. I thought the cost was reasonable and fair. Very happy with the service we received.

So happy with Bev, I got the Puppy package as I work long hours and was extremely anxious leaving my 11 week old puppy alone. She text me when she left him and told me he was fine and I felt so much better knowing he had been checked on. Booking was really easy and it's not over priced by any means.

I have used LPC on a regular basis for a few years now. My carer Ester is fabulous. She always keeps in touch advising on how my boys (2 Burmese cats) are travelling. My boys can be quite fussy but always appear happy and contented when I return home (I suspect they get lots and lots of cuddles while I am away). I travel at different times of the year - winter and summer - and nothing is too much trouble, from putting the air conditioning on if the weather is extra hot to watering plants if required. I am always recommending LPC to my friends and acquaintances - they are a Godsend (and extremely competitive with their pricing).

When my regular carer fell from a ladder putting up xmas lights 2 weeks before we were due to go on holidays I was devastated but then I recalled seeing a fridge magnet at my daughter's for lonely pets. I cannot recommend highly enough the care my dog and cat received from Sharon in Sunbury. She regularly kept in touch with us whilst we were away and took the utmost care of our Jersey and Fenix. We were relaxed and confident that our pets were being cared for. Would use lonely pets again without hesitation.

After having owned our little kitten (Pepper) for less than 6 months, my partner and I had the opportunity to go away for 3 or 4 days over Christmas, at a holiday house with a strict no-pets policy. Although we were both opposed to the idea of taking our cat to a kennel (or any other unfamiliar environment), we were equally nervous about leaving her at home unsupervised. In the end we decided that LPC would be our best option and arranged a meeting with Darryl, who ended up being Pepper's carer for the vacation period. Right from the beginning, it was clear that Darryl had not only the experience but also the professional approach we were looking for. He explained exactly what he would be doing during his visits to our home, and also went through a checklist of other tasks that we could say yes or no to (taking out the trash, retrieving the mail, etc). The two days we required visits were on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, and (even considering the public holiday surcharge), we are both extremely satisfied with the quality and value of the service that LPC offers. Christmas Day was hot (35 degrees C all day), but Darryl was very obliging in terms of making sure that Pepper was comfortable in the heat; setting the timer on the air conditioner and opening windows as requested. He even offered to visit her a second time that day, just to make sure that Pepper was not experiencing any distress. Very, very much appreciated! Again, the next day went smoothly, with Darryl texting us regular updates, calmly and patiently addressing our long list of concerns. We are both quite fussy and particular with our expectations, but Darryl managed to cover everything with a minimum of fuss. Overall, we would not hesitate in recommending this service to any pet owner.

Absolutely sensational service. We have employed Barb from the Western suburbs of Melbourne twice now to cat sit our two kitties and she is just fantastic. She sends us photos and updates regularly and takes wonderful care of our furbabies. It is clear she has a passion for pets and as we travel a lot, we will now always use her services and the services of the Lonely Pets Club. Very worth the money, especially as your pets get to stay in the comfort of their own home and do not have to adjust to an uncomfortable pet hotel. Thanks Barb and thanks lonely pets club!!

We receive an update message to let us know everything is fine. We love the peace of mind knowing our pets are looked after, the mail is collected & our home is safe. Lonely Pets provided reliable no fuss service to me and my pets who thrived under Nat's care during my recent holiday. Booking was easy, Nat came round and met my pets well before I left and did a great job while I was away keeping both my pets and pot plants well cared for! My dog has special needs - requires tablets - but this wasn't a problem either and Nat even sent me a photo of how they were going which was very reassuring to me.

We have been using Lonely Pets Club to take care of our two cats for over two years now every time we go away - and can highly recommend them. The carer has been really great and our tigers are really relaxed when we come back. So they seem to get lots of cuddles. With cats hating change, it's important to us to leave them in their usual environment as they would hate to go to a cattery. So, this has been a great solution and great value for money. In addition to taking care of the cats, the carer gets the mail, takes out the rubbish bins (and wheels them back) and waters the garden. All of this has been sooo helpful to make the house look 'lived-in' and not to loose any pot-plants over hot summer days. In addition to that: The booking process is easy, they call us to confirm the details, send you a reminder beforehand and follow up afterwards - very professional approach. The carer send us texts or emails so we knew how our kitties were doing. We have been very happy with Lonely Pets Club's services and will continue to use them!

My carer was amazing. She emailed me an update on how my boys were doing the first week and left me a note upon our arrival home to let me know how everything went. We were gone 3.5wks and have 2 cats that they came to visit/check on every other day. She took out our rubbish and checked our mail. Phenomenal experience and will use this company service again. So extremely satisfied. Cheaper than a cattery and my boys got to stay in the comfort of their own home.

Recently I went on holidays & booked Lonely Pets for the 2nd time to look after my 4 legged friends. I used the same lady as she is great. They are very friendly upon booking 7 nothing is a drama. It is peace of mind whilst your away as they also put bins out, collect mail, water plants. All is within a reasonable price. I recommend them & will continue using them.

A better alternative to the ever increasing prices the catteries are now chargeing. I have 3 cats and Lonely Pets Club looked after them for a whole month. Visiting them, giving some love and cuddles, feeding, brushing, changing the litter tray, letting them in and out for the day. Bringing in my mail and watering my plants. Wow. Very trust worthy and reliable is what I found my carer to be. Booking process was responded to very fast by telephone. And you pay per visit not per animal.

I orignally contacted LPC when I had an injured foot and could not walk my 2yo dog. He had started self harming boredom busting behaviour. Our carer, Marina, is awesome, loves Buddy and he loves her. She is reliable, comes twice a week and takes him for different walks on a regular basis to keep it interesting and genuinely cares for him. No signs of stress - he's very contented and settled, coped very well when we recently moved house and Marina attended twice per day recently when we were away for a few nights. It's very valuable to have the same person caring for him. The cost is very competitive with other providers. LPC exceeds my expectations.

We had an overseas stay of many weeks and engaged Lonely Pets Club to assist in taking care of our guinea pigs. We were very pleased that they offered this service to other animals besides cats and dogs. We had a lovely carer, Toula who was able to fit into the timetable of days and duties (feeding, cleaning out etc) and left notes about their condition. She was friendly and reliable. The whole booking process and payment through credit card was managed with professionalism and assistance from the management team at the business. Contact was good at all times. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Very happy with their service and the peace of mind it gave us knowing our animals were well cared for while we were away was invaluable.

My dogs were in great hands!!! I was away for 4 weeks and one of my good friends house sitted my house while I was away. She works full time and has no time to walk my dogs. I then hired Lonely Pets Club to send someone to walk my dogs twice a week (they are small dogs). Jan my dogwalker was amazing! She kept me informed whilst I was away with text messages and pictures to keep me at ease. I could not recommend anyone else better. lonely pets club!!

We have used Lonely Pets twice now and have been overwhelmed at how wonderful this service is. We were fortunate to have Kristy look after our dog Kiah. At all times Kristy was professional ( though she fell in love with Kiah), tended to Kiah as we would and Kiah was well cared for. Being our first long trip away, we were worried how our 9 year old rescued cat Max would go. Being very shy and timid (and being a rescue cat from year 2) we didn't not want to take him away from his own environment and surroundings. From the initial booking, to the wonderful level of customer service our carer Toula provided - we cannot rate Lonely Pets Club high enough. We kept in constant contact while overseas for updates, and knowing he was fine and well looked after, this really helped us enjoy the trip better. Having someone collect the mail and keep an eye on the house was also an added bonus. Thank you very much Lonely Pets Club - we will be back for sure!

This is a wonderful service, higly recommend to ANYONE. As a pet owner you can go away rest assured that your pet [and house, mail, plants etc] are all looked after. I have used this company twice now for two very difficult and very different pets and I was able to go away and not worry. Not everything I asked for was done (but I did leave a books worth of notes!!) but my cats were well cared for and it was so much easier than battling to get them to a cattery. I was referred to Lonely Pets Club by our previous carers Don't Fret Pet who'd we used in Sydney. Wenencia looked after our cat Riley for 2 days Easter 2013 and all went well. Having two four legged family members going away on holidays was difficult not having helpful neighbors or family members living in the area. I discovered Lonely Pets Club when I saw one of their vans driving around. The name interested me and I googled. Anyhow we decided to try them after reading what their services included. We were contacted after filling out web site details and as it was our first time using the service the lady going to mind our boys came over to familiarize herself with us and our requirements. She arrived ontime and was lovely. She recorded what we wanted, feed dogs, food kept here, leads there, take bins out this night, water that plant etc., so we felt comfortable and good to go on our holiday. While we were away we received a phone call to tell us our boys were doing well and everything was good at home. On our return all seemed good, bins empty, mail brought in, plants still alive and most importantly our dogs healthy and happy. We used the service again the next year and it was a different lady minding our dogs and home but she was equally as professional and reliable and we were totally happy once again. Would highly recommend from our experience.

I wish I had known about this service before - it made going on holiday so much easier, knowing a trustworthy person who really loves animals was looking after our pets in our own home. We have 2 cats, 2 rabbits and a chicken. Compared to some quotes I got for catteries, the cost was very reasonable, and even if we did use a cattery, there would still be the rabbits and chook to be cared for. The lady who came to take care of our pets lived locally, was a true animal lover, and as an added bonus she also brought in our bins and mail, and even brought in an important parcel we had been waiting on.

We chose LonleyPets for our cat for the first time as their prices are on par with the local catterys and fitted better with ours and our cats lifestyle. The processes was very quick and simple and having someone who can help maintain the home while we were away was such an added bonus. Our 'furchild' was visited once a day for 1/2 an hour. Checked on and cuddled. Our carer (Morvin who is awesome) sent txt's to keep us up to date while overseas(pre arranged, doesn't have to be done)and for the three weeks, the bins for our block of flats were put out(as it's our job, this was such an added bonus and godsend as there were 6 bins - so thank you so much for this :D) We we arrived home, a welcome home note was left for us, and any info relevant to the time we were away added. Our furchild was very well looked after and I wouldn't hesitate to use the service again.

A great alternative to using a Cattery with the side benefit of having someone visit the house each day to check on things, collect mail, water plants etc. The booking process was easy and our assigned carer Eva was great. Most importantly our poonce was in good condition when we returned home.

Normally when we go away we put our cats in a cattery, but this time having two energetic 9 month old kittens, we didn't want to do that and searched to find an alternate solution. I was a bit nervous about having someone come into the home to look after them, but after meeting Jay Jay bit the bullet! Our boys could not have been better looked after and were happy and healthy when we arrived home after 10 days. A lovely note greeted us on arrival, thank you Jay Jay. Sorry about the food issue, but the boys did not suffer! We would certainly use this service again.

For times when you don't have any friends or family available to house or pet sit, this is a fantastic service. It's very reassuring knowing that you can leave your pet at home where they feel the most comfortable and safe. I have used the service twice with both Julie & Val taking care of my shy cat. On both occasions I have returned home to find my cat happy & relaxed, with the mail collected and everything else just as I left it. Highly recommended!

As much as we love to holiday, going away used to be such an anxious time for us. We have 2 dogs and a cat and are quite particular about the care they receive while we are gone. To date we have always taken our dogs away with us which makes for limited choices in trips! Since finding the Lonely Pets Club we have gone wherever we like for as long as we like. They even check our mail and water the plants if need be. Best value for money and leaves out pets settled and in their own environment. Our cat used to cause havock if we were gone for the night. Now we come home to the same gorgeous boy we left. The text message we receive after each visit is also quite reassuring. The booking process is so comprehensive and easy and the staff are very relaxed and easy to deal with.

Liz is visiting my cat 3 times per day, 3 days per week. She feeds him, fusses over him, gives him medication and cleans up after him (completely - not a sign of cat litter anywhere in my apartment). My cat is so relaxed when I come home and is much better than when I have had people living in with him. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and I even receive text message updates with photos!

My cat has come home from catteries twice before & been visibly stressed which has in turn added to my stress & not so relaxing holiday. Having her cared for in her own familiar environment has been a much more pleasant experience for both of us. LPC make it easy to book, pay, & organise the details of care personally with the carer. Antoinette is great! she is patient when I txt her a heap of times with sometimes what must seem trivial things, but knowing my 'baby' is safe & happy means alot & helps me not to worry about her as much as I used to. Antoinette even spent time giving my cat a brush after I mentioned that she loved this! Upon my return not only did i find a content, happy cat, I also received a Xmas card from Antoinette, which was wonderful. I've used LPC three times now & will defiantly continue to do so in the future

The amount of positive reviews on LPC is amazing - need I say more??! This is a fantastic service. I have used them twice now and the lovely Kaye has looked after our cats so well. Between their various medications, diets and naughty behavior she did extremely well at looking after them all. I came home to happy, content and well cats. If I had of put them into the cattery again they would have been a mess when we got home and I enjoyed our holidays much more not worrying about them. Cannot recommend this business highly enough. Great price too - beats any cattery hands (or paws) down!

Way better than any cattery we have used in the past & actually cheaper because - We didn't have to vaccinate our cat - We didn't have to drop off the day before and pick up the day after our holidays We found our cat calm and settled on our return which is not surprising as she is in a familiar environment. We are recommending this service to all our friends.

This is a fabulous service - I did not want to leave my dog in a kennel where she received a 10min walk each day. Lonely Pets Club come to your home are very professional and sent regular updates on your pet whilst I was away. Would recommend it to anyone.

The Lonely Pets experience was the best ever for my pets while I was away. Normally one of my cats frets and becomes ill when I am absent for more than a night; didn't happen with the Lonely Pets carer, who cared for my girls like they were her own. I couldn't be happier with the service.

Lonely Pets Club offers a home service feeding pets while you are away. You provide the food and sundry items for your pets and they visit at a nominated time of day to take care of your animals. I have 2 cats, one an indoor kitten, and the other an outdoor cat. The carer had to feed both pets and clean the litter box for my kitten. The service was excellent and my carer sent me several text messages to let me know how the cats were and checked back with me when I arrived home. The service was cheaper than boarding the cats in a cattery, although you provide the food etc for your pets. It was also very convenient for me as I don't drive.

I am an anxious 'mother' of a 10yr old standard poodle. He received excellent treatment from Paul when I needed to travel overseas for a fortnight just recently. I came home to find him relaxed, happy, and obviously he had received professional attention during my absence. The carer also sent me text messages regularly updating me on how my dog was progressing. The carer seemed knowledgeable, sensible and practical, and really seemed to understand that I wanted the best of care for my dog. As well, he brought in the mail, took my bins out, turned lights on and off, etc., giving my house a lived in look. I was anxious about using this service initially, but would have no hesitations using them again. Lonely Pets was easy to work with, the moment I met Paul before I left I felt very confident in trusting him with the care of my dog. I need to travel for work on a number of occasions later this year, and I will certainly be using Lonely Pets.

The Lonely Pets Club gave us peace of mind when we went away on holidays, knowing our dogs were getting walked daily and fed. The fact they also collected our mail and put out the rubbish bins was an added bonus. We even got a text message to say that everything was ok during our trip.

It was so nice being able to go away knowing that our 2 dogs were in the best of hands with Lynda. The regular texts informing us of what they, and the rest of the neighbourhood was up to was very reassuring. The mail was collected the dog business removed and 2 very happy dogs there to greet us on return....fabulous.

When planning our Easter holidays I was a bit concerned about what to do with our two dogs. They just don't like other dogs and would bark constantly in a kennel environment - never mind the cost of two dogs in a kennel! I really wanted the dogs to stay at home where they are comfortable. After doing a bit of a google search I found Lonely Pets Club site - it looked perfect for us as they would come in each day to cuddle the dogs, feed them, bring in the mail, bins etc etc. I met the carer before we went away and she was lovely and I knew the dogs - and our house would be very well looked after and I wasn't disappointed.

Fiona in Ferntree Gully was brilliant! Our dogs were very well looked after and Fiona went out of her way in so many ways to make sure we felt reassured about the safety of our dogs and cat while we were away! Fiona is a truly fantastic woman and we enjoyed our holidays so much more knowing she was coming to our property everyday and giving us regular updates! I'd recommend using this service based on our experience. Our dogs were very happy and calm when we arrived home, showing us they had been well looked after. Being a private person, I felt very comfortable having Fiona in my home while I was away. Fiona and LPC rock!

My experience with Lonely Pets club in South Melbourne was great, my carer Liz was friendly and obviously loves animals and I really liked the fact that she came over to meet myself and my cockatiel in advance. Liz made sure she understood what I wanted from her, which in my case was mainly for her to play with Tarki and let him out of his cage to climb on his play gym as well as refreshing his food and water. While I was away Liz sent my an sms every few days with some pics just letting my know how things were going. I would not hesitate to use Lonely Pets again or recommend them to anyone.

I contacted this service after reading all the glowing reviews when looking for a boarding kennel for my dogs. I'd never considered leaving them at home with someone just popping in to look after them before, but the reviews I read convinced me to give lonely pets club a try. I called the office to discuss the particular needs of my dogs and the woman I spoke to was so incredibly helpful that I was easily convinced to give them a try. I was able to get the dog sitter to visit my home the very next day for an initial chat. The sitter was genuinely caring of my dogs and I was very reassured by the whole process. While I was away I even got a call from the sitter to seek my approval for a small change to the care of my dogs which was great. I will definitely use this service again as a convenient and cost effective alternative to a boarding kennel.

This is a brilliant business, it takes all the worry about going away and leaving my pets alone. Cats are very territorial, so putting them in a cattery or boarding them at the vet is about the most stressful thing you can do to them. Lonely Pets folk come to your home and look after your pets there. I've gone away for a few days, once it was a full month, and they have faithfully visited, fed the cats and changed the litter trays, and spent time playing with them, and also collected the mail, dealt with the rubbish, and if I wanted, watered a few plants. I like the litter to be changed every day, but you can arrange for them to visit less often. When I had a sick cat , I arranged for them to come twice a day to give her her tablets. The current carer for my area (Ascot Vale) sends me a text message after the first or second visit to let me know that all is well, which is very reassuring. Once I had to race to northern NSW because of illness in my family; I grabbed a few things, locked up the house, left the key in the usual place, and rang from the airport in Sydney to arrange for Lonely Pets to take care of the cats, for what turned out to be three weeks. My one less-good experience was that one carer left the house unlocked after her last visit (that's once out of six years of using this service at least three times every year); she also fed a neighbour's cat at my house, and it came around howling at that time every day for about a week til it realised I wasn't going to carry on the tradition. My impression is that that carer isn't working for Lonely Pets any more. I highly recommend this business.

With very short notice (less than 48 hours) we had a carer turn up on our door to look after our cat whilst we were away. Not only did she look after the cat, she collected our mail and put our bins out. Such a relief after being let down by others (family). Enjoyed getting text messages about what the cat was doing as well. Much easier than taking the cat to the cattery. We will definitely use them again.

During the last service, which was over an extended period, a problem occurred (my fault, not theirs!), and both our Carer Jan and Lonely Pets Club went out of their way to rectify the problem and ensure the cats were OK. We've been using Lonely Pets Club for about 4 years now, and couldn't be happier. LPC is a fantastic, reliable and trustworthy company who provide a first rate service. Our carer is very caring and competent, always contacts us immediately if anything unexpected happens, and even suggest ways to make our pet feel safe and more comfortable when we're away. It's such a relief knowing that our cat (who is part of our family) and our home are in safe, competent and caring hands. This is one service that I can absolutely recommend to anyone with a pet. The service is great value for money - it costs not much more than a cattery/kennel but is so much better - no inconvenient picking up/dropping off of your pets during kennel hours, its much less stressful for your pet to be at home in familiar surroundings, the LPC carer will play with your pet each day, will bring in your mail and newspapers, put out your bins and even water your plants! We use the service several times each year and have never had a problem. LPC is an absolutely brilliant company who deliver a 1st rate service. Our highest recommendation to anyone who cares about their pets.

Such a great service. We had a carer look after our 3 chooks and cat while we were away. It was handy to also have someone to bring in the paper and open and close the blinds each day. (We required two visits a day to let the chooks out and close them up at night). I think it was about $22 a visit which was pretty good considering it would have been about $18 a day to put our cat in a cattery. It was much less stress on the cat too - she got to stay in her own environment.

From the first phone call, I had confidence in this organisation. They were helpful in guiding me as to the most economic way for me to assess the regularity of visits to my cats while I was away- 6 weeks in all. I was impressed with the Carer's professionalism and obvious competence. I had no concerns at all in leaving my pets, or access to my home in his care. On my return, the cats appearred happy and healthy and I had a nice note telling me that they were a pleasure to mind.

The carer provided wonderful time for our two dogs, cat, rabbit and six chooks for over a week whilst we were interstate. Value for money and definitely better than boarding kennels and asking family to look after them. They walked the dogs, collected the mail, put the bins out, patted the rabbit. The office staff were very professional and helpful. We will use them again at christmas.

Leaving my 4 (very fussy individual) cats for the first time ever was nerving, but Lonely Pets club and in particular my carer gave me peace of mind and I thank them for their updated text messages and notes on arrival home. I came home to 4 cats that were happy and looked after, I couldn't ask for any more. Excellent value for money for the service given - they check on security, bring in mail, junk mail, do the bins and water the garden, as well as care for the animals. Thanks for looking after my babies - I would highly recommend to anybody.

I am stunned by the professionalism, service and quality of Lonely Pets Club. For the same cost as a boarding kennel I had a fantastic carer not only spend quality time with my cat but she also brought in my mail, took out my bins (and brought them back in), watered the plants on my deck and then sent me text messages randomly to give me updates on how my cat was coping (my cat is inclined to fret) - These messages made such a difference as I didn't have to worry about how things were going. I returned home to a calm, content cat who didn't show any signs of fretting - A complete win in my books! I have not stopped talking about this company and have already booked them again. I have never seen my cat so contented after me being away and this was the longest trip away (10 days). I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have 2 of the most fussiest cat's around, and I must admit I was a bit hesitant st first in leaving them in the care of a stranger. However when I engaged Lonely Pets club, and met the carer - Liz - I was totally put to ease. They did a terrific job, every instruction was followed to the latter. I was able to call at anytime to "check in". My boys where fit, healthy and happy when I returned home. I can now finally have a holiday with out any worry. Thanks so much

The service, ease of booking and level of care and attention to the pets was amazing. The carer was punctual and was genuinely interested in our cat and in providing the cat with attention whilst we were away. The carer also offered to bring ion the mail and water some plants. Altogether I was very impressed and will definitely use the service again. Easy, cost effective and great service!

We had Lonely Pets Club take care of our dog Rusty while we were on holiday. The staff were friendly and explained their services clearly. Our dog needed extra care as he had an accident just before we left and had an operation for a torn ear. He needed medication and to be taken to the vet. Nothing was too much for his carer, Vanessa who kept us informed about his progress. Money well-spent!!

I couldn't have been happier with this service. We have quite an anxious cat who absolutely hates being taken away from her home environment and the thought of shoving her in a cage for a week was awful. Everyone I spoke to at Lonely Pets Club was lovely. From making a booking with the office staff through to the actual carer who looked after our cat. I loved how caring, genuine, attentive and thoughtful our carer was, it made it so easy to go away for a week knowing our cat would be so well looked after. It was also really great that they not only look after your pet (feed, give any medication, replenish water, and clear litter boxes) but can bring in the mail, take out the bins and water the plants! Such a great service, I am recommending it to everyone I know with pets.

The booking process was one of the easiest, friendliest and most straight forward process. My cats are very shy with strangers, hates the car ride and I could just imagine how stressed out they'll be in a new place with strangers. Kerryn (the carer) called me the same evening I made the booking and came to see me the next day. I only expected her to feed the cats (Kerryn didn't even flich when I made all the particular requests when it comes to my cats eating habits) and top up their water but I was pleasantly surprised when she offered to clean up the litter box, take the bins out on collection night and to water my plants. She did all that and more! She took the mail in for us too! I came home to find happy, very well fed cats and a very nice note from Kerryn updating me on the going ons while we were away. I would definitely use Lonely Pets Club again and will most definitely recommend to others.

Paul looked after our very special cat and gave us sms updates every few days to let us know everything was all good on the home front. He put out our bins on bin night, collected our mail and even offered to water the plants!! He spent time with our cat for cuddles and a daily brushing in the sun which she loved! all in all a great service and l would recommend them to anyone!

I have used Lonley Pets Club to come and look after my cats for the past two Christmas breaks. The service is fantastic. My cats were happy upon my return and it was great not to have to put them in a boarding kennel. I also felt so much better knowing that someone was stopping by the house each day and checking that all was ok. And its a bonus to have the plants watered and return to a living garden! You can be as detailed as you want with your requests and it is nice to know that someone is accomodating your cats' weird habits.

We have used this service for the last 4 years and found it fantastic. We know that if we want to get away that our cats are taken care of. The extras that the staff offer is always an added bonus and a surprise when you come back from a holiday. Nothing is too much, collecting mail, putting out bins, even washing up. We were absolutely delighted with our carer. She followed our instructions to the letter of the law. And most of all, she seemed to love our cats. We asked her to call us regularly from our phone to let us know that everything was ok and she did that every second day. Gave us peace of mind.

A wonderful service, I love it. My cats are never nervous or afraid when Lonely Pets Club come to cat sit. I know that when I return home I am greeted by two boys who have been well cared for and treated with love and respect. My home is safe and secure when I'm away; they collect the mail, put the bins out and bring them in, water the plants; nothing is too much trouble for the team at Lonely Pets Club and I have recommend them to all my animal loving friends. Holidays are much more fun when I know that my precious cats are happy; safe and secure in their own environment being cared for by Nick.

We have had trouble finding boarding and other care options for Chester due to him being a guinea pig, who loves to run around the house. However whit the assistance of Lonely Pets Club we were able to enjoy our holiday with the comfort of knowing Chester was safe and well looked after. Our carer Liz took great care of him with lots of cuddles and extra treats. Having someone to collect the mail was also great.

THE CARER WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL WITH MY 4 CATS. WHEN SHE CAME TO RETURN THE KEY TO PREMISES THEY WERE ALL OVER HER PURRING ETC. By far the best way to have your cats cared for while you are away. Price is cheaper than boarding, plus there's the added convenience of not having to rush around to drop off and pick up cats. Professional and friendly carers, who you get to meet, gives you added piece of mind. Cats are less stressed by being looked after in their own home - highly recommended.

After the first (and very last) time I put my cat into a cattery and seeing how much it distressed him on my return I was determined to find an alternative. I was so relieved to find that a service such as Lonely Pets existed. So the next time the opportunity arose, I didn't hesitate to call. I have used this service a couple of times now and I have always opened the door to find a happy and relaxed cat. My carer is very friendly and obviously loves pets (and my cat) as much as I do. I receive MMS pics of my pet whilst away as well as regular text updates. I've recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to use them on an ongoing basis.

I have two cats and although my local "cat motel" is good, they both get stressed and lose a lot of weight when they stay there. With the Lonely Pets Club while they get a bit grumpy about the lack of attention, they are far less stressed because they stay at home, they eat their regular food, and they get at least a bit of daily attention. The minders are great - mine sends me a text in the first couple of days to let me know everything's OK. The fact that they bring in your mail, water the plants, put out the bins, feed the fish etc as well is an added bonus. Honestly makes going away a whole lot easier. For two cats it is also quite a bit cheaper than a "motel" (last time I used them - July 2008) it was $17 a day versus $25 for a motel).

I've always hated putting my dogs in kennels so it was great to find an alternative. I've used this company 5 times and have had 2 different staff looking after my babies (two dogs and a puss puss). Each time my pets were looking relaxed and healthy when I got back and I was particularly impressed that they cleaned up the backyard of doggie doo for me. Certainly better than the time I did have to use a kennel and one of my dogs got so stressed it chewed a hole in its arm. I'm a big fan of Lonely Pets Club, the service is friendly and reliable and best of all I don't feel guilty when have to leave my pets behind when I go away any more.

The Lonely Pets Club offers holiday in-home care for pets, and dog walking services on an ongoing or ad hoc basis. Dog walking starts at $17/30 minutes. Prices for in home care start at about $20 for one or two animals, though public holiday rates apply and can boost the price quickly. They will put out rubbish bins, bring in your mail, and water plants, and they do have an option to perform these services even if you are not fortunate enough to have a warm, furry friend. The carers are very professional, but obviously all pretty mad about animals - which matters, when you are missing your little friends!
