My dog came home with kennel cough; they moved the facility he was at without my permission and they were extremely hard to get hold of. It took me 2 days and about 15 calls to get a phone call to make sure he had settled in. They offered to compensate me for the vet bills but have since gone MIA (talking to you Brett). Very disappointed with the response I have revived, I waited 2 weeks since I voiced my concerns and there has being minimal responses so I believe a poor review is justified. Also don't bother paying for the photo package; the photo quality is rubbish as you can see from the photo I’ve included.

Fantastic, used them for many years. Until something goes wrong, such as your pet being injured in their care. Then you just hear crickets.....................

Sadly I booked with Hanrob and paid a substantial deposit which was debited from my credit card immediately .As our plans had changed I rang back within the hour to cancel but was told that they only refund every Thursday -a week after I cancelled -one questions their business practices and based on this I would never book my dog into any of their kennels

When we came to pick up our dog they gave us the wrong dog to take home. After telling them this is not our dog, we had to wait an hour before they found our dog and brought him to us. They told us that they must have mixed up our dog so he would not have had the package that we had asked for, including no bath which he was supposed to have. They also could not tell us what services our dog actually received or how our dog was during the stay or anything about our dogs stay. Our dog also developed kennel cough while staying at Hanrob which he has never had before. Hanrob were very apologetic and gave us a full refund. They said they would pay for a vet visit and antibiotics for our dog, but it has been a few weeks and we are yet to have a response from them after we sent them the vet bill. Hopefully this was a once off accident and it won’t happen again. But this was our experience.

Feeling very distressed when our dog returned from Hanrob with kennel cough and also developed a stomach infection. Vet and antibiotics have cost as much as the stay at Hanrob thus doubling the cost of the exercise.

Our Cavalier King Charles "Charlie" has stayed with Hanrob a number of times. He always comes home happy, healthy and beautifully groomed & clean. Hanrob are wonderful to deal with, all the way through from booking to pick-up and return

Dax and Jazz, our cavoodles love it here, we have used them at least 3 times now. I do spoil them with the luxury accommodation option and they are always returned happy and healthy. I recommend the grooming option - it makes them smell beautiful and look adorable. The staff play with the pets and have their personalities worked out from day one.

Our cat Chickipea has had three holidays at Heathcote. Afterwards he is always happy, chatty and well groomed- I reckon he must have a lot of fun. The pick up and drop off service is a wonderful convenience, too. Thank you for your lovely care of our furry son.

It's a fabulous service. My rather anxious dog comes back from Hanrob healthy and relaxed - I can just tell he's been well looked after and that he's been treated with kindness. The little report cards capture his personality well so I can tell that the carers there are focused on him. The pickup and drop-off service is efficient and means I can get Charlie off to Hanrob without a huge fuss. And I've compared prices and the value for money is excellent.

Although our little Buddy suffers from separation anxiety when he’s away from us he is very well cared for and loved by the great staff at heathcote. They are very welcoming and efficient and obviously animal lovers. I have no hesitation in providing recommendations.

Pete loves his stays at Hanrob. He goes on bush walks and plays with the staff and has a fantastic time. He is treated like a real star. He is taken care of just like he is one of the family.

Both our dogs came home from Hanrob healthy, happy and relaxed after a short 2 night stay. Importantly my 13 year old Belgian Shepherd seemed happy and well cared for. The local pick up option was a blessing, and made our on departure & return much easier. They are looking forward to their next visit.

This was my cats first time in a Pet Hotel so being a loving animal owner I was a little nervous for them at first. The level of care and attention that Debbie from the Cattery at Hanrob Heathcote provided to my 2 cats Lily & Panda was amazing and beyond my expectations!!!! My cats were only booked into Classic/Standard Accommodation but Debbie treated them as though they were VIP Luxury guests from brushes everyday to spoiling them with that extra bit of love & attention as they are nervous cats. The facility & the rooms looked beautiful.....it definatly is a 5 STAR PET HOTEL!!! Thank you Hanrob & all the staff for the amazing job you do with these precious animals. Priscilla G

Our dog Harvey who is a 4 years English Springer Spaniel has been fortunate enough to be boarded at Hanrob on many occasions since he was a young puppy. The care the staff provide Harvey with is reflected on pick up. He always appears happy and well looked after. Whilst away on our holidays we know the Hanrob staff respond to our emails and requests almost immediately. They are honest about how Harvey is doing and definitely tailor his stay with his needs in mind at all times. We have recommended the first class service that Hanrob provide to many of our friends who have been equally impressed with the high quality that Hanrob offers.

We have been using Hanrob for a few years and have found the reception staff and the handlers to be extremely professional and helpful. The service provided is always friendly and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Our dog is now elderly and needs a bit more attention and companionship and the staff go out of their way to care for him. We have used other boarding facilities in the past but Hanrob is by far the best.

Hanrob is just great. Our beautiful boy Darcy has stayed there twice now. All the staff are very attentive and only too happy to give updates on his progress or any concerns. He is happy healthy and smells beautiful when we pick him up. We will continue to use Hanrob for our boy.

I have been sending my dogs to the Heathcote site for over 20yrs and all my dogs love it. So much so that when they go to the vet they're so excited they think they're going to Hanrob. I have found the staff attentive and have never had an issue. The convenience of being able to drop and collect from the vet is a bonus.

We haven been using Hanrob Heathcotefor 7 years now, they always come home happy and Hanrob always call if there are any concerns. We have used the pick up service from vets and Petbarn. My only complaint was we could not find out the pick up times for the shuttle and so the dogs had to stay caged for 4 hrs at drop off and pick up . We could have scheduled flights and drop off/pick up a little better if we had times to work with.

Billi always comes back from Hanrob Heathcote happy and healthy. The staff are very accommodating with her special diet (which I prepare and package up for them to give Billi). We also use the drop off and collection service at out local vets, which makes the transfer to Hanrob very convenient

This was the first time we had used a kennel in 5.5 years, our dog came back happy and clean and has been very social with other dogs since at the dog park. Administering medication 4x daily was no problem to Hanrob either. Will definitely use again.

My puppy Fraser seemed to have a great time at Duffy's forest Hanrob. He made friends with the other dogs and was well cared for. When I came to collect him the receptionist knew who he was straight away. I was very impressed.

Took my 10 year old German Shepherd to Hanrob. She hadn't boarded away from family before, so I was quite concerned. No need though. I came home to a well looked after happy dog. Certainly will be boarding her there again.

Our fluffy daughter Moët loves the special love she gets at Hanrob. It is like summer camp for pups. She wags her tail on arrival and the photos show her having a great time on holiday.

Miss Tilly, our Boxer, absolutely LOVES going to Hanrob - always has such a great time, plays with new friends until she's exhausted and is always given the same love and attention that she would get at home. The drop off and pick up at our local vet (West Ryde Vet) is also so convenient and makes the holiday departures so much easier on the family.

Our Molly is 12 yrs and has been holidaying at Hanrob for approx. 10 yrs. The staff are wonderful! If they feel something needs attention they always let me know. Molly fits right back in at home - no stress, no anxiety. Would never leave Molly anywhere else but here.

Our Shiba Inu, Marley, stayed at your Heathcote hotel for 4 days and was transported to and from there via your free pet shuttle, dropping off and picking up from Petbarn Hoxton park, which was very convenient! We did not meet any of the Hanrob staff personally but by the holiday report we were given, she received plenty of cuddles, and settled in easily. Marley came back happy and healthy, and we will definitely be using you again for our next holiday in June :)

Lois had a holiday with you from 18th February to 23rd February this year, she was happy to go with your handler, she was so caring towards Lois. When we came to collect her Lois was very happy and thanked the staff, she was quite happy to be with them which put our mind at ease. I love that the dogs get to play with other dogs and you pair them with another dog they get along with. Fantastic pet hotel, we will definitely be back.Thank you for caring so much.

Our girls have enjoyed a few stays at Hanrob Pet Hotels in Duffy's Forest. Each time they are well cared for, have a great run outside, meet new friends, get a scrub and a wash. Very happy when we pick them up and a whimper when they know it's time to get in the car for home. Great carers, great location, great service.

Our Australian Cattle Dog is a Pet Rescue who requires lots of exercise and due to previous abuse has some behavioural issues if stressed. We have boarded him several times now at Hanrob Pet Hotels Heathcote. The staff have a great empathy for the pets and clearly are people who care. When we have collected him after each stay it is evident that he has been looked after very well and has been in great condition.

Hanrob Pet Hotel at Sydney Airport is run by caring, polite staff who clearly love animals, and care about their welfare. As the owner of a very special British Blue, I was quite worried at leaving her for the first time, if only for a weekend; but I needn't hav been. The staff were so reassuring, caring and gentle with Suki, giving me all the time I wanted to settle her in. Her condo was clean, awaiting her arrival. The staff played with her, brushed her, and cuddled her, and when we came to collect her, it was obvious that Suki was quite content. They had also written a report about Suki, which was lovely. I can sincerely recommend Hanrob Pet Hotel at Sydney Airport to look after your Pet - it's a home away from home

My 10 year old fur-baby Aytreyu spent a total of 4 months at Hanrob Heathcote last year and she loved it. She is a fussy eater and they did a wonderful job monitoring her diet and keeping us informed. She loves her cuddles and pats and she certainly got her fair share. She always arrives home happy, healthy, in good condition and obviously extremely well cared for.

I've left my cat twice now at Hanrob. He requires a lot of cuddles and attention at times but was in great care. I left him once for only 5 days but the second time was for 5 weeks. When I arrived to pick him up and saw he was in perfect condition and looked wonderful. He had been taken cared for tremendously. He came back more beautiful then I left him. Booking in for another trip for feb.

We have happily boarded our two dogs on multiple occasions, and they have been happy and in good condition after every stay. We have full confidence in the staff at Hanrob, and we love receiving the post-stay report cards. More seriously, one of our dogs required surgery recently while we were in Europe. The staff at Hanrob communicated clearly and concisely while we were aware, allowing us to make fully informed decisions. They also communicated directly with our regular vet to ensure transfer of complete history. We could not have been more impressed by their brilliant service, and our dog received quality treatment. We recommend Hanrob highly, confident that our dogs receive the best quality care there.

We have had a change in our family in the last 12 months with our son and his family relocating from Engadine to Thornlands south east of Brisbane, which has created a demand for boarding our dog Finn on the extended visits we have made for birthdays and contact with our grandchildren, where we have placed Finn, our Border cross Coolie at Hanrobs at Waterfall, as a result we have noticed a pleasing and positive change in his demeanour to his increased and lengthy visits. Whilst we would prefer to have our dog travel with us, this has not been possible but we have always felt comfortable with the care and attention he receives whilst boarding, particularly if we can arrange our trips off peak where there appears to be more staff attention and the added bonus of off peak rates which as part pensioners we appreciate. The real test is on our reunion, his behaviour and our welcome endorses our decision to board at Hanrobs. We have no hesitation in endorsing Hanrobs as a professional ,caring and our preferred facility and service. Gary S

My little Maltese is ten years old and had never been boarded until this month when he stayed at Hanrobs at heathcote. I was so worried about boarding him as he's a very anxious dog and very clingy. I was so relieved when I collected him to find he was enjoying a playtime and seemed very happy in his environment. It was such a relief to know he was cared for and I'd be happy to board him again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It's never easy to give the dogs away when you go somewhere where you can't take them along. That's why it's so important to have a place for them where you feel they are doing o.k. That's definitely the case with Hanrob. Whenever Jo and Ann stay at Hanrob I do miss them but I don't have to worry about them. That's great and makes spending times without them easier.

All staff at Duffy's Forrest are warm and welcoming. They know my dog and he is happy to go and comes home happy too. I have always been notified of any issues and all staff -especially Mindy- spend time assisting Jack with his improving social skills! Mostly importantly, I trust the facility.

They have stayed for 2 nights and up to a few weeks and everytime i have felt comfortable knowing they are being cared for and having fun! I will always recommend Hanrob to anyone who asks.

In August this year, I had to leave my little dog Trudy for 5 week, whilst I went on a business trip followed by an overseas trip. I received photo's and videos showing Trudy having the time of her life with her new found friends. I have to go interstate again on business in a couple of weeks and did not hesitate to book her in again at Hanrob Melbourne Airport facility.

I would highly recommend Hanrob pet hotels to anyone looking for peace of mind when needing to kennel their dogs. The staff at Hanrob are amazingly friendly and so caring. My sausage dogs can at times be anxious when away from home but I know they are cared for, loved and cuddled while at Hanrob. Whenever I pick them up, they look and smell great and I know they have had a great time! I wouldn't leave my pets any where else.

The caring and efficient staff at Hanrob Heathcote contacted me on vacation on 2 occasions to tell me that they'd called a vet for my Labrador and provided treatment for minor ailments. Very low fee incurred too. I'm confident he's in the right hands when I have to kennel him there.

Roxy is our 6 year old Staffy and we have been using Hanrob at Heathcote for years now. We have lots of friends that could come over to our house when we are away and feed Roxy and make sure she has water but it's not the same as knowing she is being totally cared for in a safe environment at Hanrob. Everything from booking to picking up is just easy. She is literally trying to jump out of the car when we pull up outside Hanrob. The staff are fantastic and we go away with absolute peace of mind that she is getting treated very well by those who genuinely love animals. I highly recommend this business to one and all.

From the reservation process through to check-in and check-out, we love that everyone knew our fur legged baby. To the point of knowing her diet, toileting habits and personality. It makes the process of leaving her so much easier and lessens the guilt when you know how much care and personal attention is given to your precious family member.

We've been trying various kennels and now know this is the best one for Izzi - they know her and like to see her when she comes in, so that makes us feel she's going to be well cared for. Also I like the fact we can drop her at Avalon Vet, which is very convenient.

Jack and Brock have been going to Hanrob at the airport for 3 year's. Jess, Tyson,Ben and all staff are great with jack and brock. I get updates when we are away and love seeing their photos on Facebook and Instagram. They both come back so relaxed. Staff are great with handling Jack and his medication and little problems and are also great with my nervous little brock. Thank you so much to you all.

My pomeranians, Cheeky and Brucie, have stayed at Hanrob Sydney Airport twice now. And they are booked in for another "holiday" this week! At first, I was extremely hesitant putting them both in boarding, however Hanrob's great service put me at ease. I was given updates that the poms were getting along with their 'roommate' and loving socialising at playtime. The second time they stayed they loved it so much, I don't think they wanted to leave!!! I feel confident when sending my beloved dog Josie to Hanrob for care when we are overseas. They are diligent when looking after her, and keep us posted by email should we need to know anything. When the Hanrob lady comes to pickup Josie from our local vets, Josie is excited to see her(I was present when she was picked up last time) So I figure that this rates as an endorsement by Josie her self. I have already booked her in again for when we will be away on our next trip. Also note that it is very convenient for me that Hanrob come to pick her from our vets, as all her medical records are on hand from them to check.

We were pleased that Hanrob noted Willow, our German Shepherd's lean condition on arrival, and monitored this daily with a special feeding program, which complimented advice from our own veterinarian. When we collected Willow she was relaxed and happy, having had fun with all her friends in Playtime. We were very pleased with Willow's report card from Playtime, which told us how she had socialised with other dogs. We appreciate the efforts made by Hanrob's friendly and caring staff.

Our two cats are regular boarders at Hanrobs and love the care and attention doted in them - so much so I think if they could talk they'd tell us to take another holiday so they can spend more time with Lynda (who spoils them rotten with playtime and brushing). Xena my Cattle dog once through the reception, area wags her tail and is very happy the see the Hanrob staff and gladly goes off with them. She has been staying at Hanrob 2 or 3 times a year for the past 9 years . As a pup recovering from a leg operation she was well looked after by the caring staff. I love the pick up service from the local vet, it is very convenient. Xena comes home looking fit and well.

Every element of our interaction was brilliant. Oxford, one of our dogs was unwell early in the stay, and the care, constant communication and genuine concern shown by the team was awesome. Our dogs also managed to come home healthier, cleaner and happier than when we left them.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. They make it easy to arrange the bookings to suit our needs. This has even included having Baxter picked up and dropped off from our vet's.

Ken has stayed a few times and is always so excited to arrive. He goes bananas when he sees the staff he remembers so we know he likes them. He comes home tired and always has good dreams – sniffing and running in his sleep so we know this is what he has been up to.

Our dog Trudy loves the staff at Hanrob Sydney Airport and they always remember her and giver her lots of attention on arrival and departure. When she leaves she is of course happy to see us but sad to leave all her new friends. I would happily recommend Hanrob.

On arrival we were met by the owner and reassured our fur babies were in good hands (first time we have left them). When we picked them up they were clearly very happy and healthy, Charlie was quite happy to stay with the staff member. The report card was a nice gesture. We also received an email during their stay to update us on how they were going. They had also just been groomed when we picked them up and was nice to bring them home smelling nice and clean. Thanks Hanrob.

I have used Hanrob a number of times and for the past 5 years for my little fur baby. I have found them to be extremely helpful and attentive to my little girl. I wouldn't get any other place looking after my fur babies or further fur babies besides Hanrob! Thanks team!

Our dog Ollie recently spent a week with Hanrob and came back a new dog. Booked him in for "walk on lead training" whilst he was there. After trying 3 different dog training schools Hanrob were able to get him to walk on a lead without pulling. We found Hanrob to be very professional and informative with there service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hanrob.

We were very nervous putting our 11 year old staffy into Kennels but Sabrina was amazing, the way she introduced herself to Ruby, the way she spent time with Ruby before we left her there, obviously assessing how she was, we were sent photos later in the day and when we picked her up Sabrina showed us the video of her and Ruby playing together (we've never seen her play with the ball like that), we could see Ruby was going to be well looked after.

Couldn't have been more pleased. The staff at the Sydney Airport facility were lovely and looked after my German Shepherd perfectly. He seemed to be well behaved but the handlers obviously had experience with large dogs as when I dropped him off and picked him up, they knew what they were doing and my dog was very comfortable with them. He obviously enjoyed his "holiday" with them and I most certainly will use Hanrob's again if the need arises.

Jack has been visiting Hanrob from approx 6 mths old (now 26 mths). His behaviour changed dramatically for the better post 'boot camp' thanks to Tina. He enjoys his stays and regular visits for obedience classes. All of the staff welcome him - he loves the attention. We have never had any issues with leaving him and have no hesitation recommending Hanrob.

I was very concerned about leaving our elderly cat as she had never been boarded before, but Hanrob Tullamarine had been recommended by friends. I was very happy with my initial visit, I could see the cat area and it was clean & spacious. I was also happy about the fact that she could have an hour a day of time out of her enclosure. When I picked her up she was not stressed and I loved getting a report card. The staff were friendly & helpful when I rang to see how she had settled in and they were very accommodating when I had to extend her stay, due to a medical emergency. I would have no hesitation in boarding her again or recommending Hanrob.

Our Maltese cross is a high needs care situation due to ongoing medication. He has been attending Sydney Airport Hanrob for about three years for daycare and boarding . Currently he is dealing with the loss of his dog sister who recently passed away. Hanrob and their staff greet him, know him and his situation. I know he will come home tired and happy after his time and fun at Hanrob. What reassures our family is he races into Hanrob scratching at the door to go into the play area. He loves it.

Hanrob is our first choice to look after our beautiful quirky dog! They understand her and make sure she is well cared for and loved! Our boy stayed at hanrob twice in the last few months He was very well taken care of and even though I was a pain in the butt mum they were great. I emailed several times for a update and I was answered swiftly. Our baby came home both times happy and getting a bath was just another bonus We will be leaving him there again very soon. It's great to be able to take a holiday and know that he is so well taken care of

We have used Hanrob Heathcote on 3 separate occasions now and Charlie our 3 y.o. Labrador has had a wonderful experience. He comes back in great shape, with a wonderful clean coat and a very happy disposition (from all of the social interaction he gets!). The service is great, including the pick up and return to our local vet and we can go away knowing that Charlie is being cared for in a great environment. - Peace of mind!

My cats have been going to Hanrob since they were kittens. My previous cat was being looked after by a neighbour and he ran into some trouble that took his life. At Hanrob I know they are safe and carefully monitored for health and happiness. Hanrob's communications with clients are a strength. Staff are informative and helpful on the phone, I am notified it there have been any health problems, and I love the little report cards which tell me what my cats enjoyed doing while they were at Hanrob.

You can always tell when your pets like visiting a certain place. They leap out of the car and run to the front door, tails wagging madly, waiting to get inside. This was the second stay for Georgie and Guiness, our two Labradors, at Hanrob Sydney Airport. When we went to collect them, they were happy and we could tell they had been well looked after. Georgie and Guiness are looking forward to their next stay! Thanks to the team at Hanrob Sydney Airport - Just keep doing what you are doing!!

Our dog Billi (a Lhasa/Bichon cross) always returns from Hanrob Heathcote happy and calm. She has a hypoallergenic diet and the staff ensure she gets the special wet and dry food we provide. The pet shuttle service is terrific and we always use it to get Billi to and from Heathcote. Having used Hanrob Heathcote over many years to board our dogs, I highly recommend it.

I had my young Dog Woodie stay at Hanrob. This is the first time he has spent away from home as he tends to get very anxious when he is away from his familiar surroundings. However the staff at Hanrob made him comfortable and treated him very well. I would certainly recommend Hanrob to my friends if they need a pet hotel any time in the future.

Bill Jack Russell has stayed at Hanrob three (3) times since December 2015 and had a terrific time with new friends and wonderful carers who kept us up to date with news and provided a video on request. He benefited greatly from playing with other dogs and also from having a kennel mate from time to time. He returned home very happy,v clean and in great health. We are pleased that he is now much better with other dogs while retaining his energy/enthusiasm. Bill looks forward to revisiting Hanrob in May 2016

Our Kelpie has stayed at Hanrob twice now and this time we also had our 2 Cornish Rex cats stay as well. All three of them came home calm and relaxed. While our Kelpie was happy to see us when we returned, she wanted to stay at Hanrob!! The staff are extremely professional and very caring to the animals. The staff at Hanrob are friendly, professional and caring. I feel my quite timid cat gets personal care with the attention she needs and her diet. I always feel confident in leaving my cat there as she is in good mood/behaviour when i pick her up. I will definitely be using Hanrob next time I travel.

Each time we go away we take our dog to Hanrob so he's stayed there many times. Even when he has fretted they have taken care of him with a lot of care and love. He's a large dog but a HUGE baby, and the team at Handrob always welcome him like he's their own. From the moment we arrive to when we go to pick him up he's treated lovingly. He's always very chilled post staying at Hanrob. We keep going back so that's a good sign.

I like Hanrob and so does my dog Jersey. She has stayed there many times over the years. We love her dearly and if she wasn't happy and enthusiastic about Hanrob we would not have continued to send her there. Our Jersey is getting older but still thinks she is a puppy. They make sure she has plenty of exercise with friends and one on one walks and she always comes home happy and exhausted.

Miss Tilly (our family Boxer) is very much an alumni of Hanrob, having completed the 'Training for Life' program and stayed on numerous occasions. As always, Hanrob provided excellent care and Miss Tilly just LOVES going away to 'boarding school'. Hanrob provides us with peace of mind that she is well cared for while we enjoy our holidays. Rosie loves Hanrob and Hanrob loves Rosie. Rosie is a timid Staffie but she always bounces out of Hanrob looking happy and smelling sweet. Her board is a cost that we build into our holidays as it's available, it's 5 star and we don't worry at all when we are away even with the Bali volcano delaying our homecoming. Well done Hanrob

I came across Hanrob Pet Hotels in Tullamarine whilst driving down Melrose Drive having a look around. I called in to have a look at the hotel and was amazed at how clean and spacious the place was. The Receptionist gave me a complimentary doggy day care voucher. I used this voucher one day to see if my dog, Duke, would like it. Well, he absolutely loved it! I have boarded Duke there twice and when he hops out the car to go inside, he cannot wait to get there and say hello to everybody, dogs and humans. The staff there are excellent, friendly and knowledge and I know when I go away and board Duke there, he is in excellent hands and I never have to worry. Try Hanrob Pet Hotel Tullamarine for yourself. You will never go anywhere else!

Our puppy stayed at Hanrob three times last year including a 2 week intensive training stay. We were very happy with the service and training and feel that the training has really helped our puppy calm down and become a little more obedient. Our puppy seems to love going there as she gets excited as soon as she enters the place and can sniff the other dogs - seems like a good sign to us! We know that she receives very good care, which means that we don't need to worry about her and the extra training is always a very valuable bonus. We can definitely recommend Hanrob Pet Hotels to anyone!

Very unhappy with the service I received from Hanrob Sydney Airport. It's almost impossible to speak to anyone to check on the welfare of your pet. You have to leave multiple messages and if your lucky you may get a call back after 5 hours. Then when I picked up my Lab puppy, he came back from there with kennel cough so I now have a nice vet bill over $200. Thanks Hanrob, never again!!

I cannot recommend Hanrob Pet Hotels enough! Being new to Melbourne, we didn't have friends or family to look after our animals while we went away, so our two pets had three hotel stays in 2015. I know our animals are going to receive the best care possible, giving us peace of mind to fully relax on our trips away. Although our cat has been a bit difficult to handle in the past, the staff are always pleasant and patient with her. Our dog seems to have relaxed a bit too and is getting more comfortable going to Hanrob for short stays. I love that the package includes a bath at the end!

My two dogs often go to daycare or boarding at Hanrob Melbourne airport. Being a flight attendant, the early drop off & late pick up times work brilliantly with my shift work. The staff are absolutely amazing & know my dogs by name. They also have quick 'check in' tags, so I literally drop them and run off to work. The facilities are modern & always spotlessly clean. I always feel that my puppies are safe and well looked after.

Once of my dogs is old and creaky and I know that she is going to going to looked after properly. We've been using then for years including for dog training which was very effective for an unruly rescue dog - she came home with very good manners!

I am absolutely appalled with the service I recieved from you people at the Hanrob !!! I picked my two cats up today after them being with you for 8 days and not only can I say that they both have lost a decent amount of weight and are extremely on edge, one of my precious cats has a very bad flew. This is horrible considering we paid a lot of money to keep our pets in a good facility and even were were required to show proof of all vet vaccinations.... When Clearly this is all for show because if it was mandatory for all pets to be immune to such illnesses my cat would not be sick. I'm am disgusted that I only found out about this today when I informed you that I was picking them up. When I arrived I was told that there was a feline virus going around that the vet costs would be covered due to your negligence.. After speaking with another member of staff I was then told that the staff member had no authority to approve that so now the vet fees will be at my expense when CLEARLY IT WAS YOUR FAULT ! I strongly urge anybody that is considering bringing there animals to your "hotel" to second guess their decision because they will pay the price later on. I will be spreading this as far as I can and I will let everybody know the truth about this venue. Your facility reeked of urine there was water all over the floor and it is obvious to see that the level of service and care is of a very low standard. I have contacted the department of fair trade and definitely will be taken matters further.

Finn, our large dog, stays at the Sydney Airport Hanrob Pet Hotel when we go on holiday. Like most dog lovers the first time we left him we were concerned on how the experience would be for my boy. Well when we picked him up he was in great spirits, smelled like a million dollars and definitely had his fill of play time. The staff are always soo friendly and well informed on how Finn spent his time playing with the other trouble makers! We now leave him, not with trepidation, but with a feeling he is going on a bit of a holiday too!

Hanrob Pet Hotels were absolutely amazing and we were filled with confidence as soon as we walked in the door. Taffy seemed very relaxed and happy when we picked her up and by all accounts she behaved herself and the staff looked after her in a very professional, yet very pet friendly way. Our dog Dexter stayed for several weeks while we were away overseas. During that time, Dexter was both housed and trained by the Hanrob staff. Upon picking Dexter up, we were greeted by a very well groomed and behaved dog. We will be using the Hanrob service again and would thoroughly recommend them to any dog or cat owner who needs to have their pet looked after while being away.

Our lovely pup - Madi has just had her second holiday at Hanrob Melbourne. The premises are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and record all details of her needs before we drop her off - and they ensured these were met. It is obvious that when we collect Madi she is thoroughly exhausted from all her play-time with her new friends - we chose the half day play package. The complementary pick-up from our local Vet is a bonus and the Hanrob site is very close to Melbourne airport for our reuniting with our lovely little girl. I certainly recommend Hanrob Pet Hotels - Melbourne. Their hours are wonderful also for the busy traveller or the casual holiday (for both Madi and us)!

(Duffys Forest) It was my first time putting my two girls into boarding so I was a little bit worried but I received some great feedback from them whilst we were away which put my mind at ease. The staff really care about the pets which shows through and obviously love their job. When I picked up my cats they were both happy and healthy, and obviously had some great moments with the staff. I would definitely book them here again.

Hanrob gives the best care and attention to my dog while he is away from home. He is always happy and well groomed when we pick him up. We have also left our dog at Hanrob Sydney Airport Facility, so convenient for an easy drop off and pick up. Makes us feel good when he has had a happy holiday too.

We were new to Sydney and needed a place to put our dog Molly where she would feel safe and loved after a big relocation from Queensland . We have used the Sydney airport kennels twice and are so happy we did, it's convenient and the staff are so good with Molly , she isn't stressed when she comes home and the report card is a nice touch. She always looks and smells lovely when we pick her up.

Due to our dog sitter passing away earlier this year we have had to find a suitable place for our 12 year old Lab Onyx. I received a link for Hanrob via the Essendon Football club, am I glad I followed that link! I can't speak highly enough of all the staff I have had dealings with, from my initial visit to inspect, to Onyx's first visit, to even receiving a call before her last visit, as they were aware that she was due for her vaccinations a few days before, and they were checking to make sure she was up to date before arrival. Onyx is very happy to go to Hanrob, we are very happy because they have a special area for their 'senior' guests, and They can find a friend for Onyx to share with, which offers both company for her and lowers the cost for us. BONUS! Onyx will be visiting Hanrob several more times in2016, we can now go away happy that she is being very well looked after. Thank you all the staff at Hanrob Melbourne

Charlie has stayed with Hanrob a few times now and she is familiar with the lovely accommodation and the handlers so she has no anxiety staying here. We are grateful for the care that she is given here.

Our dog stayed for her first visit last month, she came home happy and obviously had a terrific time in our absence! The staff were all great and even called to double check regarding her medication. We will definitely be booking her into Hanrob when we next go on holidays.

We boarded our dog Ava at Heathcote Hanrob and we have boarded our dogs there for the few years we have lived in Sydney. The latest stay for Ava was one that really stood out thanks to a lovely member of team called Kahle Watman. She went out of her way to ensure I was updated on Ava (even on her day off) as Ava had been not well. She liased with me in relation to the vet visit and costs before charging. I really appreciated all she did. If Kahle is an example of the type of staff employed here, you can rest assured your pet would he recieving great care and attention.

I have been boarding my Labradors at Hanrob Pet Hotels for over 30 years. I am very happy with the care they receive especially in the aged care section. The staff are very attentive to any need the older dogs require. (The dog I have now has leg trouble and the aged care team walked her for me to stop her legs stiffing up.) My dogs are always happy when I leave them at Hanrob and I am confident they will be well looked after whilst I am away.

I recently went on holidays and could not find a satisfactory boarding kennel in my local area so I phoned Hanrob. Well what a great experience it has been, the booking was easy, they picked up my 11 month Shepherd puppy from the local vet and she had a great stay, the feedback from the staff during her 4 day stay was positive and when she was returned to the vet for me to pick her up she was washed and there was a great report card saying that she was affectionate with staff, playful with other dogs and enjoyed playing chase so the whole experience was wonderful I had peace of mind knowing she is having fun and is well looked after. I have taken her back since and she was so excited when we pulled up at Hanrob she jumped out of the car. Thanks Michael and Mia (German Shepherd puppy)

This was my dogs first sleepover at Hanrob's. She stayed only three nights and I was really please with how happy she was, she looked like she had a good experience. I love the report card and the chat we had with the staff when we picked her up. Dropping her off after a walk to the local vet for pickup saved me 45 mins drive on the day I was going on holidays. She came home smelling beautiful......

From my experience, I feel that Hanrob is a negligent and frauduelent organisation in Sydney, Australia, claiming to provide superior boarding services to animals. Nothing could be further from the truth. I had to rescue my two ragdoll cats from its Heathcote, NSW site after them being initially checked in at the substandard facility at Duffy's Forest. The "suite" accommodation at Duff's Forest for cats is a narrow row of barren dog kennels. Nothing remotely similar to what is represented on the company's website. After raising my concern with the company about false representation, and their apologies, I was assured that my cats would be better looked after at the Heathcote Hanrob facility. Hanrob transported my two ragdoll cats in our own portable cages to Hanrob, Heathcote. Two days later I arrived at the Hanrob Heathcote facility unannounced because my travel plans had been delayed only to find my cats trembling in fear underneath two low dog beds in a disgusting, dirty, insect ridden dungeon they call a "suite" with brown polluted water, with less than 100 grams of kitty litter and urine soaked and drenched blankets.

I was extremely reluctant to put my Oli into a cattery of any kind but after just 1 stay at Hanrob I knew i had found the next best thing to home for my Oli Boli. The staff are amazing and catered to my Oli"s curious and playful nature. My Oli was so loved and well cared for that I would not hesitate at all to recommend this place to everyone. This was our dog Pete's first stay and he absolutely loved it. The carers were fantastic and he enjoyed the one on one playtime. He had the aromatherapy bath before his return and talk about smelling great. I would send him back again just for the pampering. He loved it all....

Sadly - I feel like I just wasted $4500 on a training program where my needs were ignored. The girl at the front desk had a lot of additude - not a smile on any of my three visits. They took good care of my dogs- good for boarding if you don't care about customer service but I would not invest in heathcote training again as I was ignored, my leash was lost and the trainer giving me training - admired she didn't get a handover as to what I needed. That money could have been better spent on a good home dog walker

My fur baby Jed a black cocker spaniel stayed at Hanrob recently. I was so impressed by the loving care giving to the animals. The staff are so friendly and made it all so easy to leave our prescious baby who had never been left before with them. I didn't worry the entire time I was away as I was so confident with the care offered. We paid for extra playtime and a walk which Jed loved.

Miss Coco has never been to stay with anyone but family until recently when she spent a week at Hanrob at the Airport. She loved it, when I picked her up she was so happy and obviously loved the staff, giving lots of love to them. Her report card was a very special addition that also let us know she was loved. She will be returning in the future as I know she will be loved just as much as she is at home. Excellent facility, excellent staff, congratulations Hanrob :)

Our 2 dogs have stayed at Hanrob multiple times over the past 12 months when we have gone on holidays or have moved house. Whenever we pick up our dogs after their stay, they are always very happy and obviously well looked after. We are able to enjoy our holidays knowing that our dogs are in good hands. The staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable and have an obvious love of animals. We also love getting the report cards to tell us about what the dogs enjoyed during their Hanrob stay. We would definitely recommend Hanrob to anyone looking for boarding for their pets.

this was the first time Ruby did not go to stay with friends. During her 4 week boarding we had her trained to assist with her walking skills, staying skills and not pulling on the lead skills. At my hand over Ruby excelled at these skills. Due to my disability I have never been able to walk her, now I will be able to. Thank you Mel and the team for your incredible care and training methods. Ruby will be back for holidays and future training.

I required a last minute spot for my dog, Copper, who was also recovering from an operation. Hanrob staff were helpful and accomodating with Cooper, providing him a place the following day. Hanrob's vet services ensured Cooper was well looked after after during his stay and I was given access to see him whenever I wanted. He returned home in good spirts and health. Will use Hanrob again.

My Doberman dog thoroughly enjoyed playing with other dogs after staying 10 days at Hanrob. She was so relaxed and comfortable when she came out to greet us. My two Spoodles stayed at Hanrobs for a period of 40 days June/August 2015.Whilst we were overseas. We had weekly emails on how they were going. When they were brought back to home by their Shuttle they had been freshly bathed and you could see they were two happy pooches.I have booked them back in for 10 days in October 2015 Thank you Hanrobs

Our dog Ricky has stayed at Hanrob Pet Hotel in Heathcote several times. He comes home relaxed, happy & healthy. He is now 13 years old & loves staying with Hanrob. As an older dog, he has some minor special needs & these needs are met by the caring & dedicated staff. I love receiving the report card at the end of his stay which tells us how Ricky enjoyed his stay at Hanrob. The facilities are excellent - wouldn't trust any other pet hotel with our dog Ricky. My Boston Terrier Iggy has had 2 stays at Hanrob at Melbourne Airport. I have been very happy with the care he received during his stay and the professionalism of the staff. He stays in the luxury accommodation, which is expensive but has the comforts that he's used to at home. He's on a special diet which they are happy to give him at no extra cost. The last time Iggy stayed there he was picked up from the local vet which when you don't have a car is very convenient. I received some photos of him during his stay and could see that he was enjoying himself. It makes me feel so much better that when I do go away I have somewhere to leave him where he will be well looked after.

We found the staff to be professional and efficient. Our experience has been that we receive individual and caring treatment from all staff,especially Jess and Tyson. They are very aware of our dogs needs and our concern for him whilst we are away. On our return we always experience a very happy and settled dog. We would recommend Hanrob highly.

When we moved to Sydney, our new vet recommended Hanrob. My 2 dogs Have stayed there several times for up to 3 weeks. They take great care of them, the dogs always seem really happy to go back to the kennel and they come back really clean and healthy. I always choose the optional walks. The report cards they send home are so cute. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needed a place for their dogs to stay.

Staff were great, both the people I booked with over the phone and the trainer. My dog did the 18 day training whilst boarding and he has responded really well, so we are very pleased. The facilities, from what we saw looked great. When we picked him up, we saw him before he saw us and he was genuinely happy and interacting well with his trainer. He has definitely come home happy & healthy, so couldn't ask for more.

I was very impressed with Hanrobs facility at Heathcote. On checking my dog in and out, they were busy but the reception staff were efficient and very friendly towards owners and their pets. The grounds are well kept with walking and playing areas. I left my dog excited and she came home very playful.

My dog was a rescue from the Lort Smith. We had only had him for five weeks when we need to go overseas. I was very concerned that he would feel that he was once again being abandoned and hence looked for a kennel that would not resemble a pound. Hanrob was recommended to me by a friend that had used them and she is a person I trusted. Right from the first phone call I found the staff to be very caring and understanding. I felt confident that my boy was going to be well cared for. He was happy to go with them when we arrived. He came home smelling lovely after a bath and seemed very happy. The location so close to Melbourne airport is a bonus and the facilities are great. I would use Hanrob again in a heart beat and would recommend them to anyone.

Our two "boys" have stayed at Hanrob twice. Both times they have returned happy and healthy. It is so reassuring that we can trust Hanrob to go over and above what is required to ensure our pets are well cared for. It helps us to really relax on our holidays knowing that our pets will be safe and sound. The staff even washed their blanket when one of them vomited on it. My dog is a regular at Hanrob in Melbourne. It's always hard to leave him behind, but I know he is in good hands with lovely staff that are always helpful. He comes home smelling awesome and is always nice and clean. The only thing I would like is if they could give some more playtime. Overall great service.

They had a really good understanding of what my little staffy would need on her stay- lots of love and attention! I love the fact that I can drop my pets at our Vet and then they are transferred by shuttle bus. My fussy cats went for the first time in 12 years and settled down and into Hanrob with no problems. Our English Bulldog had her 3rd visit and we think she would have been happy to stay with all of that staffs attention!

My babies Harley and Ebony stayed at Hanrob, Harley is 13 with a tumour in his lung and Ebony is 5 months old, they got to stay together, and because of ebonys age had apart time as well, knowing they were well cared for and together enabled me to enjoy my break, The way the staff conduct themselves is very professional, I also received regular updates, including photos. It is obvious that the staff care and love the animals very much. Our plane was delayed by two hours meaning we weren't going to be able to collect them that evening, the lovely young man, called us just as we were leaving the airport to tell us he was waiting for us, What wonderful service.

We had our 9 month old cavoodle stay at Hanrob while we were away on holidays for 12 days. I was a bit reluctant as that was the first time we had left him since we brought him home. The staff were amazing. He came home healthy and happy and somewhat exhausted from the play time he had and the new "friends" he met. We were limited with internet and email and weren't able to see a photo when requested and the staff felt really bad about it, they gave us a bonus for his next stay ! Will definitely send him there again

The gentleman that served me when I first dropped Nelly off and when we collected her was friendly and professional but most of all excited by his job, he even knew her breed as soon as I said who we were here to collect.. It is always comforting to know my dog Cuzco is so well looked after when i am not around. The staff at Hanrob always do a great job looking after him, whether it is treating is anxiety or taking him to the vet if he gets sick. I highly recommend Hanrob. 'We make customer service our priority' is an interesting slogan - i paid a lot extra for my dog to stay in a suite so he would not be stressed out - I contacted them multiple times over the 3 days he was there and NEVER received a response. I asked in one of my emails what the cost of a bath was - they bathed him and charged my credit card without ever responding to my question NOR how my dog was. Who knows if he even stayed in a suite and he came back a highly strung dog. They obviously read the emails (being that they gave him a bath in response to me asking the cost) - and chose not to respond to me. They credited me back the money EVENTUALLY when I threatened to go to fair trading and then gave me the 'gift' of a free bath next time - as if I would book it again. Extremely unsatisfied - was a stressful 3 days due to moving but even more so that they did this.

Hanrob was awesome with exceptional service and facilities for my Blue English Staffy girl. I was impressed with the pick up and drop of service from my local vet and of course the report card at the conclusion of her stay letting me know that she was loved whilst there. It was nice to know that she was in safe, caring hands while I was away with a yard to play in and walks on the lead daily. I couldn't recommend Hanrob highly enough and will definitely use them again in the future.

Our first visit to Hanrob instantly made us feel safe and comfortable. Louis came home clean and smelling amazing. It was great to read a report card on what Louis got up to. When we go on holidays, our cat has his holiday at Hanrob Sydney Airport. From the cleanliness of the facility to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, We have been using Hanrob for a number of years and the service has been consistently excellent. I am very happy leaving my precious boy in their care.

I used Hanrob for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed at the level of service and the friendly welcome to not only me but in particular my dog. He was wagging his tail straight away and that was a good indication that he felt safe and comfortable about being left in an unknown place. My dog seemed happy upon collection. He was clean and smelled nice and the person who helped us on collection was really friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of the pet transport service when our pet went to the kennels. We collected him ourselves on Sunday. I appreciated getting a phone call to advise our pet had arrived safely and was settling in well.

Over many years I've boarded several cats at Hanrob Heathcote, for periods of 1-9 weeks. The staff are always competent, kind, caring and helpful. During long stays especially, the regular email updates I've received are a great way to stay in touch and feel reassured that all is well. Hanrob's facilities are clean and spacious and there is good separation between the housing for cats and dogs, so cats are not agitated and traumatised by dogs barking in their faces. The grassy outdoor play area is very important for cats like mine who live indoors exclusively, especially when boarding for more than a day or two. Felix is a great fan: he tells me it's much better rolling on that grass in the sun than nibbling on a bit of cat grass growing in a pot at home. Hanrob's pet pick up and return service to and from the vet is a great help on busy workday mornings. After a long stay, I find it's also good to drive to Heathcote to collect Felix and have a chat to the staff as well.

She has always been looked after well and the staff seem to be genuinely interested in Sophie and caring for her while she is there. Excellent service and training. Took in my staffy puppy and got the puppy manners training. A week later and I had a staffy that did everything I needed it to do. So if my staffy can be trained, then that says a lot about Hanrob. Oh and he came back clean and happy.

My two dogs often holiday at Hanrob and always return in great form. Hanrob provide free pickup from my local vet, excellent accommodation, extra care for my older pets including special feeding needs, playtimes and daily walks. I really like the option of luxury suites with private garden areas. Overall I think Hanrob are easily the best choice for comprehensive pet accommodation and care.

I have sent my dog to Hanrob on a few occasions over the last 10 or so years, from a weekend to perhaps up to 3 weeks in one particular instance, and on all occasions she has been extremely well looked after and is returned to us in the best condition. I do ask for play time, and I'm sure she loves this. She gets a very good report card when she comes home. Thoroughly recommend.

In May 2015 our 15 month old spoodle Ruby had her 3rd stay at Hanrob Heathcote. Whilst she was there unfortunately she became ill. We were called overseas to notify us of the situation and all questions answered along with a plan given for when she returned home. I found this process to be professional and I was very appreciative of the level of concern shown for her health and wellbeing. Another fantastic service is the ease of booking online along with the pick up and drop off option to our local vet which is a great time saver. I would highly recommend Hanrob to anyone who wants the best of care for their pet whilst in boarding.

Our 2 small dogs, Petal and Noodles experienced their first ever stay at a Pet Hotel in June at Hanrob Sydney Airport. I wanted their first experience to be a good one so I booked walks and grooming for them. The staff were very efficient at drop off and reassured me that they'd be well taken care of. On pick up the 2 of them came running toward me with tails wagging, and great excitement. From my perspective they looked like they had enjoyed the experience and on returning home they fell straight back into their regular routine so it appeared they suffered no ill effects from their exciting trip away. I have just made another booking for them in July, I was so pleased with the service offered and care taken of our very special family members, that I'd happily recommend Hanrob to anyone needing a care free trip away without their furry freinds!

My two German Shepherd dogs have been clients of Hanrob at their excellent facilities for a number of years. Each time I use the Heathcote / Waterfall facilities for my dogs they have been well cared for in a kennel together and I know that they have professional staff looking after all their needs each day during their stay. There is never an issue when my dogs need medical attention or a special diet due to health problems relating to their age, and as their have reached their 'seniors' age I am reassured that they are monitored more frequently each day whilst at Hanrob. I love the cute touch of a bow on Tuihana's forehead after grooming prior to returning home. I love to see the happy, healthy and energetic dogs when I collect my dogs after their stay at Hanrob. I am reassured by their 'tail wags' when collected, that future visits to the facilities a number of times over the next year there will be great anticipation of 'happy, healthy and energy expelling play times for my pets. I always recommend Hanrob to my friends due to their professional and caring service provided at their facilities at Heathcote / Waterfall.

Our puppy "Horse" went on his first vacation during the Easter break 2015 for 3 weeks. This was his very first boarding experience and I must say we were very nervous about leaving him for such a long period, especially for his first time. He is usually an inside dog that is with his family 24/7. we were so delighted with the service he received at Hanrob Heathcote. Upon picking him up, we found him to be very healthy and happy, and his temperament was exactly as we left him. We believe he was so well looked after and must of had all the attention and love he would of had at home in this time. We loved that whilst away we received regular updates on his training progress and a few pictures of him training and playing. We also loved that whenever we called up, every person we spoke to knew who "Horse" was and could tell me what he was doing at that particular time and how he was going with everything. We will definitely be leaving "Horse" with Hanrob Heathcote if ever we need him to be looked after again. Hanrob Heathcote truly is a home away from home holiday experience for your pet.

Our cattle/kelpie cross Daisy stayed at Hanrob for 6 nights recently and I can't recommend this "pet hotel" highly enough. This was the first time we had left Daisy anywhere - she is a rescue dog and we were worried she would feel abandoned and fret. But she seems to have had a wonderful time - came back to us happy, relaxed and smelling great. We will certainly be using Hanrob again. Great facilities, great staff and very conveniently located.

Our beloved cat stayed for the first time at Hanrob for two weeks whilst we travelled overseas. She is a very timid shy ragdoll and always comes back from catteries looking skinny and scared. We were delighted to find the opposite in this case! She was so well looked after during her visit at Hanrob. She came back to us looking freshly brushed and not keen to go back to her regular food as she preferred the food at Hanrob! As protective parents we absolutely loved the report card that she got back indicating she loved having cuddles and was very good for her stay! I also emailed Hanrob whilst we were away to see how she was going (did I mention I am a protective parent!?) and they responded straight away saying she had settled in fine which put my mind at ease for the rest of my trip! I really believe Hanrob went above and beyond to make our cats stay as enjoyable as possible!

Our cat is the quintessential lounge lizard and her big enjoyment is lying anywhere in the sun. As she's aged we've become more concerned with boarding her where she can have at least some time outdoors or with access to sun. We were very pleased with our first stay at the Heathcote facility and recently repeated it. She comes back happy to be home but looking good and not distressed in any way. I gather she is somewhat spoiled, and her "report card'' seems to back it up. We elect to have outdoor playtime added to the bill so she has a better experience. And for us, the ease of her being picked up and delivered to our vet close to home is also worth every extra cent.

We have tried other boarding kennels closer to home but we now only use Hanrob and that means an hours travelling time in the car to the other side of Sydney . We could drop our dog at the vets but prefer to do it ourselves .

My fur baby stayed at hanrob Melbourne. I'm happy to say that at a short notice they were able to accommodate joey and also not charge too much for it been Easter school holidays. Joey was smelling fresh and clean, happy and healthy. Their free shuttle service is excellent. Thank you for looking after my baby.

We have boarded our Cavalier KCS twice with Hanrob and each time he comes home very happy - as if he's had a great time. We love getting his 'report card' to see who his friends were and who looked after him, and being able to have him collected from and delivered to our vet is a great advantage.

My pet came home sick after only being there for the weekend. I sent his own food with him to avoid him getting sick. They did not take any responsibility for my pet coming home sick. It cost me around $170 to have him stay at Hanrob, and then another $400 in vet bills after getting him home. The staff did not return my calls when I was calling to ask whether they noticed a change in him while he was there.

The staff were lovely, we REALLY appreciated them letting us in early when we were able to catch an earlier flight. We had contact with numerous staff and they were all lovely, that's quite rare in such a big organisation so they must be doing something right! Willow was really happy and healthy and the premises were very clean and open. I would not hesitate to recommend Hanrob. We also saw the cat premises, wow! I want to be a cat who lives at Hanrob! Frank has stayed at Hanrob a few times now and he is always happy to be dropped there. When we pick him up he is nice and clean and looks like he has had a great time, the dog report card that you get is also really nice. He's always had the platinum paw package, which is great value. The staff also friendly and happy to help. It's nice knowing that he's having a great time too when we go away on holidays.

We have used the Melbourne HanRob Pet Hotel twice now for our dog, with great results. We have also used their pick up/ drop off service too- a very handy service for a busy family. Our dog's experiences of HanRob have been positive too I believe. He comes home well fed (no weight loss at all). We've left our spoodle Sally at Hanrob (Melbourne) twice now, and been very happy with the experience. I appreciated the attention to detail - phone calls/emails to confirm dates, pick-up and drop-off info. Great to have the convenience of drop-off/pick-up at our local vet. Especially appreciated the FaceBook photos while we were away and the "report card". Sally came home clean, healthy and happy. We were glad that she was able to have shared accommodation and good fun with "Holly, (Spoodle), and Gypsy (Maltese). Sally stayed at home with a house-sitter last year but after a burglary (traumatic for young student and for Sally) we would never again leave her "home alone". Safety first is our motto from now on!

Will not leave our pet dog anywhere else. We have used Hanrob Pet Hotels for some time and leave him knowing he will be well cared for and pampered just as much as if he were at home. Staff are friendly and make such a fuss over your pet as soon as we walk in. They may charge a little more than other places but Hamish is part of our family and well worth the extra care and attention he gets when staying there. When travelling overseas our minds are at rest knowing he is in good hands. Love the report cards - Hamish must be on his best behaviour when staying, he hasn't had a bad one - yet!!

My dog Molly has stayed at Hanrob everytime we have gone on holidays since she was a puppy. She has received the dog training which was great and now I book her into the Platinum Paw which she loves. She always comes back looking very fit from all the running around that she does in her play time while at Hanrob and clean as is always given a bath before she is returned to us. I have complete faith in leaving her with Hanrob and even received some emailed photos after her last visit of her pen pal that she roomed with while we were away.

I have used the Melbourne branch of Hanrob about 3 times now. I put my dog in the luxury kennels as he is spoilt at home and I can't bare to think of him in regular kennels! He has been well looked after and even bathed at the end of his stays. They also have a complimentary pick up and drop off service to the local vets, which saves me having to drive an hour to drop off or pick up. The location near the airport is great too when we went on a flight to queensland. Makes pick up and drop off very convenient. The staff were happy to check on him when I phoned to see how he was coping. The luxury area was clean and tidy.

Leaving our dog Dakota recently with Hanrob we couldn't have asked for any better care. We gave them strict instructions with what she could and couldn't do due to her having a hip operation. There were no dramas with them following this, which meant we had no worries with us being so far away from her. She came back looking healthy and very happy indeed. Wonderful care and service at Hanrob. We have left Shiloh at Hanrob each year for the past 5 years, and we have never felt anything but peace of mind. Shiloh can have difficulty settling in for the first couple of days, but the staff go the extra mile and get her settled happily. I can get updates whenever I need and its never an inconvenience. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would not leave Shiloh anywhere else. Good care and good value.

This was the first time we have left our dog at a kennel and we were very worried about how he would handle not being with the family. After discussing our concerns with the staff it was recommended that we should consider paying the extra $13 a day to give our pooch a full half day of play time and I am so glad I did. When we came to pick Nigel up he looked as relaxed as if we were in our own back yard I can't think of anywhere better for anyone to leave their pet nothing is to much trouble for the staff and if you start to fret as we did a simple phone call and one of the friendly staff will give you an update on how your dog is going. I will always use Hanrob in the future when ever we go away and I urge anyone who wants to know that their pet is safe and happy while they are away to do the same. Our dog Millie has been a part of the Hanrob "family" since she was a pup, and we would never use any other Boarding Kennels. She cannot wait to visit them and always comes back healthy and happy. Have been boarding Snoopy (Lab x Kelpie) with Hanrob for the last 6+ years on a regular basis, and I continue to be extremely pleased with them. The staff are attentive, courteous and professional in every way. Living in the inner west, the Airport drop off saves me the long drive down to Heathcote (and I get to indulge in a Krispy Kream!) Their support service is absolutely fantastic. Snoopy did the in-house, residential obedience course some time ago. About two years ago, when he briefly forgot his manners (typical teenager), one of the trainers came out to our place and sorted things out - again brilliant. Probably not the cheapest BUT I have peace of mind knowing that he is being looked after by complete professionals (from the admin staff to the handlers) - he always comes back a happy and energetic (and nice smelling) dog. Look forward to many more years of dropping him off for his holiday time! As I have done to many people already, I have no hesitation in recommending Hanrob.

We booked our cat Raspberry into Hanrob Heathcote via the local Petbarn store, the ability to do that is fantastic. Their booking service via the phone was friendly and informative and gave us a lot of confidence to enjoy the time away knowing he was in good hands. When we picked him up he was obviously very health & happy & we got a little report card about his behavior which we really liked. Efficient, friendly and loved the score card

My dog Jack was left at Hanrob on two occasions, once for boarding for 2 days and another was only a day care. My dog was looked after well, he was very happy when I picked him up. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good experience and will be back again.

Our puppy Toby has been to Hanrob twice now. His first visit was to the airport facility and his second to Heathcote. The staff are friendly and very focused on the pet. Toby loves all day play and just loves to play with other pets. Toby has come back clean and happy from both visits. We loved the posting of photos on Facebook as well. We will be taking Toby for his holiday at Hanrob when we take ours somewhere else.

Our Labs Lucy and Ellie were clearly well looked after and they enjoyed their time at the Sydney Airport site. As it was the first time they'd been in a Dog Kennel I was bit nervous to see how they behaved. Getting the report card was a great way to find out how much fun they had playing with other dogs. Being Labs, finding out they ate well wasn't a surprise but it reassured us that they weren't stressed.

Always very happy to leave our 2 year old cat and 16 year old (almost deaf and blind dog) with the carers at Hanrob. The facilities are spotless and we love that they go that extra mile. My husband is a Vet and he knows that our little guys are in good hands when they have their holidays at Hanrob - he is always comfortable referring clients to Hanrob when they ask about boarding facilities. The staff are always friendly and courteous. We wouldn't use any other Boarding Kennels. Whilst we don't use it, the pick up/drop off service is so useful for many clients.

This was by far the largest, cleanest and best maintained venue our cat has had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were very friendly and professional. There were email reminders sent before the upcoming stay and all instructions were clear. Our cat came home after 3 weeks at Hanrob just as happy as when we left her. Highly recommended

my kitty stayed there a couple of times. service was ok. they could give her more food i provided cause she lost a bit of weight but i suppose that was stress . for the first time she saw other cats probably not very happy. she came back very excited and happy to see us. would recommend to other pet owners as they are professionals :)

I have used the Duffys Forest kennel for 7 years now ( for stays of up to 6 weeks at a time ) and have been very happy with them. Our dog Biscuit has had a couple of health issues over the years and the staff have been brilliant at following all requests ( vet instructions, medication requirements) and I have complete faith in them. Biscuit has always come home happy and healthy from her stay, and I have been able to go on holidays with complete confidence, knowing she is in good hands. All staff I have met seem to genuinely enjoy their work and care about the animals. I particularly like the fact that one person looks after your pet for the duration of their stay. Biscuit must love it too as the moment we turn into the driveway she headbutts the window to get out of the car! I wouldn't take Biscuit anywhere else

Remus has visited Hanrob at Tullamarine twice now and comes home happy and healthy. I love the "report cards" that are sent home with him. It is so handy to be able to drop off and pick up at my vet, so no driving an hour as with some kennels. I also appreciate that phone calls from the driver on drop off back at my vets so I know he's ready for me to collect.

I've taken my chihuahua Jorge to Hanrob Melbourne for a bit over a year now. He's had the training for life, long weekends and doggy daycare there. Despite his high energy (and head wobble) he's always come out of it happily exhausted after playing with his friends there. They match your pup with another with a similar temperament and seem to really cater to your pup's needs. I must include a shout out to Tina the trainer whom Jorge absolutely adores. As soon as he sees her, he wants to get let off the leash. Thanks a bunch Tina and the team at Hanrob Melbourne.

We have never left our 10 year young lab retriever with strangers and found this year we had to. To say I was anxious is the least of it. Sickening anxious I was. Our baby dog, yes baby is overloved if possible, and for those of you who love their dogs will truly understand what I mean and having a labrador too :). Kacey at Hanrob Melbourne Airport is truly a rare lady. She took on board what we said, even the silly bits, and took our baby under her wing. We are now back home and seriously there is no change in our lab. I thought he would be back deflated, no spirit etc. He is generally full of beans. Well I am happy to say he needs his cuddles now more than ever as I think kacey gave him a bit too much cuddling lol. Creature of habit our dog lol. To find a person who truly looks after your other part of the family that cannot attend your break is too good to be true in this day and age, but Kasey is this ONE. I would have no hesitation in using and recommending Hanrob Melbourne Airport again oh and did I mention Kasey haha. Mara F

Have used Hanrob for a number of years at both Heathcote and Duffys Forest for my two Border Collies. The pet taxi service is great, convenient and saves me time - this service is a strong draw card. Having Border Collies, I like them to have lots of out door time and always buy the full day play package (bugs me a bit that I have to pay extra to have my dogs out all day). Dogs are happy and clean when they are returned. Overall a good service and one I will continue to use.

Being my first ever experience with boarding facilities, I was anxious & really unsure of what to expect....Well that lasted 5 mins!!. From the moment we entered Stella ( my dog ) & I were greeted with a big warm smile & the incredibly friendly staff displayed such confidence with my dog that I had no hesitation in leaving. I loved both " Stellas arrival " being announced over the PA & the quirky " Holiday Report Card " about your pet you receive on pick up!! It was a wonderful experience for owner & pet alike. Our 7 1/2 yr old Golden Retriever Sandy always stayed with the breeder whenever we went away and each time we picked her up we had to make a quick visit to the vet for health issues i.e. giardia, eye irritations, etc. We then sourced a facility in Yarrambat where she was returned to us with bite marks down her back and flank I was told there was a little rough play!! We have used Hanrob for the last four years now and have never had a problem. I cannot recommend them more highly. The staff are exceptional, in fact the whole experience from drop off to pick up was seamless. Thank you Hanrob!

Hi! We've been using Hanrob at Heathcote for 5-6 yrs and couldn't be happier. Jesse, our male Rotty loves his time spent at Hanrob. He's so eager to go, he opens the door to the vets himself! The fact that Hanrob have a pick up & drop off service is brilliantâ€¦ so convenient as we live quite a distance from Heathcote. We love the set-up where they companion board your dog for company. Jesse loves people & enjoys an active day, so we opt for the 'Platinum Paws' play schedule. I read one long negative review that discussed the Hanrob 'Dark Contract' I'm incredulous, as the only contract I've ever been given covers firstly, my contact details, his vaccination record, the dogs basic requirements / health issues, etc, permission for a vet to treat the dog in case of sickness or accident while at the facility, and confirmation for the play options / training, etc, that was booked prior to pick up. We have always been treated well, with respect, and far more importantly to usâ€¦ the care Jesse receives! He always returns happy & in top condition. We've used other boarding facilities prior to Hanrob, and were distressed to find on pick up, our dog had lost weight, was nervous & shaking, timid and obviously distressed. This has never been the case at Hanrob. We use the facility 2 or more times per year, depending on our travel schedule. Hanrob allows us the freedom to enjoy our trips (guilt free), knowing our pooch is well cared for. Jesse's longest stay was around 18 days for the 'Boot Camp Training program', but mostly for shorter stays eg.a few days to a weekâ€¦ and just for the record, we have no affiliation or association with Hanrob apart from the fact that we use their service! I've been using Hanrob Pet Hotels since moving back in Sydney in August 2014. I do a bit of travelling, so need somewhere convenient, that will also give my boy the love and attention that I would give him. The on-line booking tool is great, makes the process really easy and straight-forward. The team are always wonderful when I speak to them, either on the phone, or dropping off and collecting him. They also don't mind regular calls while I'm away for an extended period. It's a great way for my dog to meet other dogs and keep up his social skills, whilst giving me peace of mind when I'm away.

Our dogs have been going for a few years now. Both had training sessions as well as stayed for holidays. Staff have always been excellent, helpful and you can see they all care for the animals they look after. The dogs get a report card after each stay which the kids love to read. It always makes me laugh when they say the labrador eats politely! (well he does sit before he vacuums it up!!) They come home clean, well fed and happy- that's all we are after!

My cats have boarded at Hanrob several times now and have been very well looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Given that cats hate changes, I feel my animals' needs are understood and I pay for an hour's playtime with a staff member every day which they apparently look forward to and enjoy. The collection service from my local vet is very convenient, and when this is not possible, I can arrange to have the cats collected from and delivered to my home for an extra charge. When they caught colds one year they were taken to the vet for assessment and treatment. I recommended Hanrob to a friend who went to Heathcote to inspect the premises and was very favourably impressed. She now boards her dogs there. I feel my cats are in safe and caring hands at Hanrob .

Hanrob Tullamarine is clean, new and the customer service is second to none. My German Shepherd Utah enjoys his stays at Hanrob and can't wait to get in there!! After his stay he's washed and groomed better than I ever can groom him! And he get a nice smelling perfurm which lasts for weeks! Tina the trainier is also great and has taught an old dog new tricks! Highly recommended to friends, family and anyone who needs their dog for a short or long stays!

We booked our Greyhounds Elvis & Mr Gibbs into Airport West while going on vacation overseas Oct 2014. This is the first time we have left them with anyone and for such a long time. Based on a recommendation and the promotional web site it looked like what we were looking for. When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff including a confident handler who went straight to the boys to get to know them. After a discussion on 'likes' & 'dislikes' the hounds were taken away and we were confident the staff knew how to handle large sensitive dogs. Upon return from holidays we were welcomed in the same manner with bright intelligent staff who really understand and care for our pets. The report card, little stories and seeing our boys again gave us reassurance they were healthy and happy during their stay. We have since taken them back for a 'long weekend' and the hounds were more than happy to toddle off to meet some new friends. I am really please we chose Hanrob and would highly recommend the Airport West staff and facility. Thanks guys for the great customer service and care of our boys.

My dog happily used the Melbourne facility in March 2014 for a week, August for 3 weeks and then November for 5 weeks. Each time I have paid for extra training as I felt guilty about the potential lack of mental stimulation for my pup. I have a mini bull terrier, a breed that are notoriously impossible to train and I have been impressed with his improved behaviour each time. The first time I called up in March a day or 2 before the end of his stay to confirm pick-up details, the person on reception immediately knew him and referred to his character traits - he clearly hasn't been just left in a dark corner to cry to himself, it appeared to me that everyone was genuinely interested in animal care. On the last stay I used the vet drop-off and pick-up too, which left me time to get to the office and then only have to worry about getting to the airport on time. This also helped when I had out of office hours flights on return and therefore didn't need to go back to the airport the next day (they're only open slightly more than regular office hours, so you can end up paying an extra night if your flight lands mid-evening). On his first visit he came home with kennel cough, but as a young pup at the time I don't see this as Hanrob's fault, but rather just bad luck (and slightly inevitable with immature immune systems in these environments). Other than that he has always come home happy and healthy. I will continue to use Hanrob as required (although hopefully I wont have to be away from him as much in the coming year!).

I did not want to leave our 6 month old puppy Stan anywhere while we went on holiday over Christmas for 2 weeks, however after a lot of research and speaking to friends we decided on Hanrobs Duffy's Forest location. We couldn't have chosen better, right from the first contact the staff we really helpful and friendly, advising us on what would be best for Stan to make his stay a happy one. He didn't look back when one of the girls took him into the kennels. When we picked him up he had obviously had a great time, he was in great shape, wagging his tail and actually walked straight past us and up to another dog for a play. He did come bounding over as soon as he realised we were there and we will definitely have no hesitation in using the service again.

Hi, Would like to first of caution people thinking of using this facility as our experience was nothing but negative. Firstly the administration side of the business is terrible, from booking online we had more than ten calls back and forth with no staff being able to confirm everything was fine. I also never received a receipt and when I called to ensure my cat (male) was picked up from his drop off zone they couldn't even find the booking and then said â€œsheâ€ had arrived. We were also greeted with a contract on drop off at the vet, which we were not notified of and from reading through It basically states that once you hand your pet over anything that happens is not the responsibility of Hanrob, even if the staff is at fault. This was worrying, especially if your much loved pet required medicine. Secondly we felt like we were always chasing them, we had not used the service before and once when I called a week into the stay to see how he was doing I was transferred to some incompetent staff member who spat out she couldn't figure out how to work skype and she had been trying to call me, obviously I wasn't who she was looking for. Then then needed to request photos on Facebook, which I personally don't use. If you do use Facebook and don't mind endorsing this business then this may not be a problem for you. The photos looked nothing like the facility on the website (Melbourne Airport Location) and instead looked like they were shot in some dirty halfway house with my puss looking very distressed. From a shelter cat who is fine in every situation he looked generally upset. I am not basing this review off the expression of a cat on a low quality camera but It did bother me. Lastly we had no idea if he had been dropped off or not at the vet, when we arrived at 6PM they said he had only just been delivered. I am to believe that the cat was being carted around in a a van from 9AM making other deliveries? When we picked him up his cage was soaked in urine, his fur was tatty and he stank. We monitored him for a few days before he returned back to normal, though he still smells pretty terrible. I have my suspicions around the glowing feedback I had seen some places online, when the Facebook was riddled with people complaining about the mistreatment of their pets and poor administrative side. â€¨â€¨I commend Hanrob for being the â€œpreferred partnerâ€ for many vets in the Melbourne area, what a great way to build trust with the facility if your vet recommended them. Unfortunately this does not seemed based on merit rather than backroom handshakes and back scratching endorsements. I would consider any option before boarding again with Hanrob Melbourne and I strongly advise against others boarding their pets here. Our dog Teddy stayed at Hanrob at Heathcote for just over 2 weeks. The staff are caring and professional. It was reassuring as first time users to see the love for animals demonstrated by the staff. They also spent time with us as we said goodbye to Teddy; there was no rushing. When we were away they sent us pictures of him outside and also took the time to respond to our emails. He came home healthy and happy. The Hanrob grounds and buildings are spotlessly clean and there are many care options to choose from.

Tain & Dolly now consider Hanrob to be their second home. They get really excited when we drop them off and are always happy and relaxed when we pick them up. They always smell so beautiful after their baths as well. Love the report cards. Our friends love reading them when they visit. I find the telephone representatives always happy to help and forthcoming with extra information. I like that you can add on extras especially when its a longer stay. My Cat recently stayed at Hanrob Sydney Airport from November the 14th to 25th of November. It was the first time we have ever boarded our cat and we were extremely nervous about finding the right place to board. I honestly can say Hanrob was fantastic. When we arrived the facility was extremely clean, the staff are friendly and caring. Even the cattery smelt so clean and fresh. Being a crazy dog lady, I find it hard to leave my Dachshund (Snausage). Snausage is a very picky and easily frazzled dog. Hanrob Melbourne accommodate for all her (and my) needs. From taking us on a tour on her initial visit, to helping her socialise with other dogs (which she struggles to do). Every time I go to pick little Snausages up, she doesn't want to leave. Zorro, our 5yr old Dachshund, loves going to his"home away from home". He has recently spent 5 days at Hanrob and I'm pretty sure he had a ball.This was his third time and he always comes back full of energy, happy, cuddly and smells so pretty !!! I need to get some of that shampoo !! This time I organised Hanrob to collect and return Zorro from Elwood Vets which was so convenient and complimentary. Highly recommend Hanrob, love the report cards and I never have to worry that he is missing us when we go on holidays.

First impression i got was "great" i was welcomed with a smile with good customer service..,i could see they are well organized as of the cleanliness which is very important for me. I treat my cat Sammy as my son and best little buddy. Hanrob Pet Hotel had won my trust from the start.., they called me to let me know he was doing well and when i picked Sammy up gave me a written report on how he behaved during his stay. I wish they had Hanrob Pet Hotels out in South Gippsland too for holiday season as for my experience two thumbs up! keep up the good work.

My two Golden Retrievers Jess & Zack have travelled a lot, and also need to stay at kennels frequently since my job requires travel. I have been searching for a Sydney dog kennel that I would reuse and had not found one,.. until now. They both stayed for 4 nights on this occasion. Usually when I return to pick them up from a kennel they are so happy to see me and they can't wait to get out of there. This time was a little different. Both of them ran away into the office and wanted to say 'goodbye' to the staff, running around to see everyone. They were beautifully groomed and two weeks on still look amazing. The dogs have never come home from a boarding experience happier or healthier. They are very social and would have loved the half days of playtime, and the bushwalk. Special diet and medication requirements were followed perfectly. I will be reusing Hanrob each time they need accommodation in the future, and definitely recommend Hanrob to anyone.

I recently found myself needing to board Vulcan for the first time ever â€“ so with some trepidation and only a few days notice went searching for kennelling options. I gave Hanrob a call as they were just by Tullamarine airport and their website indicated Vulcan would get lots of care. Hanrob staff were both professional and friendly from initial inquiry through to pick up. As an allergy dog he has a few needs which were no problem at all for the staff. On pick up Vulcan was happily tuckered out from all the exercise and being by the airport made it so easy for me. I was very impressed and won't hesitate to book Vulcan in the next time I need to go away. Thanks Hanrob!

I booked my 11 yr old, quite anxious beagle in with only a days notice. Generally reluctant to go away because we don't like leaving him. Staff were reassuring and boarded him with another beagle. Knowing that he had company was a huge relief. On collecting him we were thrilled with his complementary wash and he actually appeared happy and relaxed. So glad we have found somewhere that we feel confident to leave him

Jessie spent her first holiday away from us at 8.5 months old, we were recommended Hanrob through our vet and I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs to send their pet somewhere while on holidays. Jessie came back and seemed very happy, she looked relaxed and like she had had a lot of fun. Will be booking her in there again when we go away next time.

My elderly dog has never been to a Pet Hotel like Hanrob as always minded by breeder on farm so I was hesitant to leave him there. Even though my dog cannot tell me how he went I am absolutely satisfied by the care that was given. My vet is an agent and it was fantastic to have my dog picked up locally to save the extra drive over there. The communications with staff were terrific whilst dog was away and he was returned happy, healthy and clean. A credit to Hanrobs. Definitely coming back.

Our dog did the 18 day training for life ( doggie boarding school) She just loved it-great staff and facilities. Results not quite as good as we expected but definite improvement and we have had a follow up phone call and advice and we are encouraged to call when we need help.We shall use Hanrob again for boarding and maybe some summer camp training! Highly Recommended.

I found you guys as my kelpie girl, Penny, had dog-dog aggression issues, which were almost completely gone when I came I pick her up at the end of her 18 day course... The way you handle animals is incredible and our life is so much easier and funner since finding you. You were always a call away for follow ups, and were so kind in recommending alternate suggestions to assist with maintaining a happy dog! You then came to my rescue after an unexpected shift in home life, where I needed long term accommodation for Penny - you were kind, accommodating and so so helpful in finding me a solution, which was boarding with you guys for an extended period. Whilst I am so thrilled to have Penny home with me again where she rules the roost, sometimes I wonder if she was more spoilt in your care than she is at home (which would require an awful lot of spoiling)!! She looked and behaved like she has been treated like an absolute princess while she was under your care - it's no surprise that you have been recognised as a first-class boarding home! An extra special mention to Tina, who is not only an absolute superstar, but her expert handling of dogs is like nothing else I have ever seen! We had to board our two staffies for the first time ever for a couple of nights. I must admit it is not easy looking for a place to board your pets but on the recommendation of my vet I contacted this establishment via their 1800 number and was greeted with pleasentness on the phone by the staff. They explained everything to me in easy terms, booking was dream. When I took the dogs to the Tullamarine complex I was very impressed firstly with the size of the building and secondly by the extremely friendly staff at the reception. Nothing was a problem and I even took a "note" about the dogs, which they recorded on the dogs entry forms. The staff had an excellent repore with the dogs especially when my dogs are selective on who they meet. I was very comfortable in leaving the dogs there and they appeared to be extremely happy in going into the complex. You can also go into an area and see inside the complex and facilities. It is amazing. If I ever have to board them again that is where they will going. (It was almost good enough for me to stay) They also have pet training and washing facilities as well for an extra cost, the dogs have was is known as play time. The cost for each is a mere $35.00 per day and well worth it and I was happy to pay this cost. Obviously the dog bathing is extra but also worth it. I cannot speak highly enough of these premises and fully recommend them. I must also say that they have a cattery as well and that it very impessive with an extremely large area to wander around and they are not kept in a cage all of the time.

I'm very picky where I put my three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and with Hanrob, my dogs were well looked after, beautifully washed and didn't want to leave when we came to pick them up. I am comfortable always leaving my Pets with HanRob at the Airport.

I recently boarded my cat at Hanrob at Heathcote for 22 days. I had used the Mascot facility many times in the past for 3-4 days and the facility and staff were great, but had never boarded her for such a long time. I was worried about the long period that I was going to be away, but the e-mail updates were great and when I saw my cat, I was very pleased. She was happy, healthy and relaxed. The staff had done a great job, particularly Deb, the devoted "cat lady". I will continue to use both facilities as they really care about their furry friends.

1st time our beloved pooch has been away from home and the whole experience from start to finish was very professional with hanrob. The booking process was straight forward, and the customer service representatives did their job well, making sure we got all the information required. Arriving at the Hotel and checking in our precious pet was awesome!, he did not even look back to check where we were, he just trotted off with the staff! Lol! Went to pick him up and we were given a report card of his stay from his carer, he settled in well, and came back to us after his bath smelling and looking very handsome. Thankyou to everyone involved in our dogs care. We will be back, this was a great experience for all!

My family are huge animals lovers, and were looking for somewhere to keep our cats while we are away on holiday. Hanrob was recommended by a friend, so we decided to try it out, as previous Pet Hotels have not been successful since our cats have strict dietary requirements. We had booked one of the suites to cater for all 3 cats. It was great to know that Hanrob had air conditioning, heated floors and a TV for the cats to relax. I would recommend Hanrob to anyone who is looking for somewhere to leave their animals, knowing that they would be in great care by all their dedicated staff.

We have used Hanrob several times over the years for our beagle cinnamon. I cannot fault her stay at any time. The staff are exceptional and really care about the animals they board. The staff were attentive to our needs and cinnamon loves the cuddles she gets from staff and new friends she meets. They are conveniently located and staff are always attentive. Sometimes cinnamon is disappointed coming home as she has so much fun there. I would highly recommend Hanrob and trust them completely with our precious cinnamon.

We dropped off our pooch for a week stay and she had sore paws (had a cone over her head to stop her licking them), and was 2.5kg overweight due to bad weather and unable for daily exercise. She came home smelling amazing after a bath, was 2kgs lighter and her paws in immaculate condition! She was happy & in GREAT shape after her stay! She did although pick up kennel cough, but it's to be expected after a week being near other doggies! Will definitely have her stay there again. Thanks for taking great care of our baby! :)

I wouldn't trust anyone else with our Poodle Lucy. We have used Hanrob for many years and have always found them to be not only professional but friendly and helpful. I don't think I spoken to anyone that hasn't been nice. Lucy comes home looking as healthy as she goes in and always happy. We recently used the Sydney Airport site and we were pleased to see that we received the same great service. They were excellent. It was so easy to drop her off and hop on the plane. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hanrob and we will be using them again and again.

Big Thankyou to Brendan at Heathcote. Our 11 month old toy poodle Scooter is a new little guy after his 18 days training, its been a huge improvement on the puppy that went in there. Our biggest issue was the constant barking at (everything) and antisocial behaviour whilst on the lead, and after two days back at home and lots of outings on the lead we have not seen any sign of the previous aggression and his barking is more fitting to the circumstances. Cant thank you enough Brendan..its like he's a completely different calm dog.. ohh and picking him up all bathed clean and smelling like a talcum powder puff was great !! thanks again Hanrob, we will be back in the future :)

It was so hard to choose a kennel in the first place, as we had no previous experience of one. The location appealed since we felt that there would be plenty of space for dogs to run around. However the location also meant that we were unable to visit and check it out ourselves. We did pick our dog up, but on Sundays the office is only open for 2 hours to facilitate animal pick ups. I have no doubt that the staff are dedicated. I can't really comment on the facilities since I have not seen them myself except for a few shots on the website which generally reflect the luxury suites (which we did not use, as our dog does not sleep on a human bed and watch TV). I guess the main disappointment is that our dog came home with kennel cough. I realise that it's contagious and like sending your kid to kindy when someone else's child is sick, there's not much you can do to avoid it. I wonder whether those kennels that keep dogs apart is a better answer (I hope not, since our dog loves company). Not sure what to do next time around.

We took Millie our White swiss shepherd to the 18 day intensive training as we were finding it challenging to train her, even though we had previously owned a german shepherd our current dog is more mischievous. Mel was fantastic with her, and explaining all commands to us, she came back more well behaved . We now just try to follow all of the commands taught. Millie isn't perfect in her behaviour but she is stiil a pup and can be naughty. We are going to go to the Sat session at Heathcote, which is free apparently once you've done the 18 day training. Hopefully this will help reinforce a few commands and help our girls gain confidence in controlling her as she is very strong. Thanks again to all staff we dealt with at Hanrobs everyone was friendly and helpful.We also liked getting our email update with pictures of Millie

I would highly recommend Hanrob to any pet owner. I had Bonnie attend for 18 days for the training program, and she was a brand new dog when we picked her up. Mel was fantastic!! Bonnie is much more relaxed and she now focusses on various commands we now give her. I know she had a happy time, and although pleased to see us, I'm sure she will love going back. I felt apprehensive about sending her off, but shouldn't have worried at all. She made great friends (both people and doggies) and the staff truly look after them like they were members of their own family. I would not hesitate to recommend Hanrob to any pet owner and I'll be definitely using them from now on.

My two boys, a cat and dog have just completed another stay in a luxury suite and have returned home happy, healthy and in great condition again. It is important when boarding that they are together because alone the fret badly, hence the luxury suite. The additional cost is offset by the care provided. It is second to none in all aspects, especially in feeding and daily grooming. My dog has really long fur that easily tangles but he always comes home in a very well groomed condition. Well done Hanrob.

We loved sending our pup to Hanrob while we went on holidays. They were open late and we were able to book him in last minute (8 o'clock at night), the area was very clean and there were plenty of play area's for them to run around in. The pick up and collection was very easy and our little Anzac smelt clean and seemed happy. We will be using Hanrob again, thanks! :)

Over the years I have boarded two dogs on several occasions with Hanrob and found them to be first class. One of my dogs, a Dalmatian, underwent training with Hanrob which made a huge difference and was well worthwhile. I can go away on holidays knowing that my pet will receive the utmost care, love and attention while I am away which gives great peace of mind.

All marketing and little substance. It was clear your people try hard, but the process and systems to operate the business are in disarray. Not have a phone system that says someone is coming soon, where in 17 calls over 2 and a half days and several hours of being on hold and leaving 9 messages, then an email on your website, I could not get hold of a single human being. It was only when I put a negative review on Facebook that you contacted me. Staff told me that complain to management about your phone system and that you "are more interested in Facebook". They also confirmed that internal communication is "a mess". Don't shoot the messengers, your staff on this. Get your act together. I am actively telling our vet to never recommend you again. And all this for about $100 a day even when I provide my own food. A disgrace.

My dog has been to Hanrob Mascot twice now, the last stay was for 11 days. The Mascot site is so convenient if you are travelling to be able to drop your dog off before getting on a flight, and the team are really friendly and helpful for any questions you have. Our little girl came back happy if not a little worn out from all the play time which we paid a little extra for the Platinum paw experience which included the team at Hanrob posting photo's on facebook of our dog while we where on holidays, which was great to see. I would certainly have no issue's recommending sending your dog to Hanrob at Mascot.

My dog went to Hanrob for an 18 day training course. She has significant anxiety and if she sees another dog while on the lead she is very hard to control. The trainers at Hanrob worked a miracle on her as she can now walk past other dogs without a care in the world. I was unsure how much my dogs behaviour would improve in a short period of time but she is like a new dog. I was able to communicate with the trainer throughout the 18 days and was sent photos to keep me in the loop. I also had a departure lesson with the trainer so I could be trained in how to continue this behaviour. My expectations were certainly exceeded by Hanrob and I cannot thank them enough.

We used Hanrob Tullamarine for the first time in April / May. Having the airport in very close proximity is ideal - especially if you use nearby secure car parking. Hanrob staff were very pleasant on the phone and over email before drop off, greeted Max and I a smile on drop off, and gave me a warm welcome on pick up. As for Max, well he spent 10 days there and he came out looking fit and healthy (we booked him in for the Golden Paw package). The doggie report card is a pretty cool idea too. We'll be booking Max in again during August. Thanks Hanrob @ Tullamarine!

Have left our boys at Hanrob, Tullamarine a couple of times now and each time they have come back to us looking extremely well cared for. The staff are wonderful, flexible with pickup and drop off times and they do really care about your family members that are staying behind. Love the report cards! The 'boys' are booked in again for 2 weeks in June and another 3 weeks in August/September. Sad to leave them but knowing they are well cared for makes up slightly for the times we will be missing them.

Generally a good experience. Our dog is always happy to go here and always comes back happy. We have had one poor experience where some items that we had brought with us were unable to be found when we left. The follow up from front desk staff (who are also the carers) was excellent but the follow up from management to our formal complaint was poor to say the least. I will reiterate - care for the pets is of a high standard.

I travel several times a year and have been satisfied with the care and service provided by Hanrob to my two cats. They come home happy and healthy each time. On one occasion, Hanrob had a concern about one of the cats and took her to the vet for treatment which tells me a close eye is kept on animals in their care. It is very convenient for me to leave my cats at the local vet for collection and return. Recently this wasn't an option and I was relieved to find that Hanrob would pick them up from my home address and return them - for an extra charge, but it was worth it. When they went to a Hanrob Pet Hotel in a tick area, too soon after their annual injections for any extra protection, staff checked them daily to keep them safe from ticks. I know my cats miss me when I am away, so it is good to be able to organise some personal time for them with staff members for play and cuddling. I could Skype them if I wished - an interesting application of current technology. I must mention the friendliness and helpfulness of Hanrob staff on the phone. It is a pleasure to work with people who demonstrate such a high level of personal service. It gives me added confidence that my pets are in good hands. It also says a great deal about the quality of leadership in this business.

This was the first time that I have left my dogs in boarding and I was really very nervous about how they would go (in particular my German Shepherd who can be a bit snappy with other dogs). I was really impressed with the activities that I could book for my dogs so that they were fully occupied outside of sleeping/resting times. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when I called each day to see how my dogs were faring. It really helped put my mind at ease that I could check each day and obtain updates. I also appreciated the photos of my dogs playing which were posted on Facebook. After a day and a half I stopped worrying about them and started enjoying my holiday! My cat was happy when we got him back and we are very thankful that Hanrob was able to look after him over the Easter long weekend as we had an last minute, emergency overseas trip and other places wouldn't take him as they were either full or unavailable over that period

leaving my beloved dog at a kennel is a difficult parting. Our family miss our Dog a lot & she in the past has suffered desperation anxiety. I consulted our vet, who gave me a Hanrob Pet Hotel brochure. It's the only boarding facility they endorse. We were invited to do an inspection & were please to see, hear & smell our dear dog home away from home. I felt stress free while we were away knowing I could pick up the phone & check in & see how she was doing. when we came to do pick up, a happy, smiling dog greeted us. she was thrilled we were back but not anxious of fretful. she'd had a buddy the whole time & got to be a dog for a while. she loved it. there's no where else we'd send her now.

We've had two previous dogs of ours go there and have found them to come back healthy and happy. Our latest addition is only 9 months old and she just had a ball. The staff are very welcoming and always go out of their way if ever I ring to see how our dog is going and we just love the report cards that come back with them to let us know how she went with them and what her little buddy dog was. We will keep using them as long as we have our dogs.

It was extremely easy to pick up and drop off Jack at the local vet. He always seems happy and healthy when he comes back. I love the report card when I pick him up it is so cute to hear how his holiday was. Highly recommend Hanrob to everyone.

My puppy stayed with Hanrob for 10 days over easter. The lead up to this we were nervous as she can be a very protective little puppy and worried is she would mix well. When we collected her we were told she had a great time and enjoyed having cuddles with her main carer, and that she made a play mate called cookie. We have actually noticed she is much calmer since she has been home so if we think she may have had a little bit of training thrown in. The option to have her picked up and transported in the shuttle from the local vet was great as it meant i had more time to get organised for our trip. Those staff were friendly and knew who she was when i dropped her off and when i collected her. She came home from hanrob smelling beautiful and you could tell she had been really looked after. I have already recommended your service to many of my friends and colleagues.

Hanrob did an outstanding job in looking after Casper. Picking him up locally, keeping him for the easter period, bringing him back locally, washed! and with a report card, was the best experience that we've had in boarding Casper. We will definitely drop Casper to Hanrob during our next time away and thank them for taking such great care of him.

I have used Hanrob for many years and have always been so very happy from the moment I book my cats in for boarding until I collect them from the vet. They always look so content and happy after their holiday and I just love the idea of a Report Card. I wouldn't use anyone else for my "babies" as they are so very precious so deserve the best.

Hanrob did a great job looking after our dog Konan, especially when he was sick. We have never left him for this long (10 days) before and were worried about how he would settle in. It was great to see photos of him having fun and to receive regular updates about his health. Also Hanrob staff went to great lengths to organise for us to pick him up early when we were so worried about him. A big thanks from us and Konan.

We have been served well by Hanrob for over 17 years. We have had three golden retrievers, and all have stayed at Hanrob, and loved the experience. We have used Hanrob for lengthy and for short stays, both at Heathcote and at the Airport in Sydney. Our middle boy, Jack, was trained at Hanrob, and at the end of his life, spent at least one day a week at Hanrob in the aged dog program, which was wonderful. We have lived in Canberra for the past 10 years, and I still would rather bring our dog to Hanrob than leave him with any of the facilities in Canberra, which are nowhere near the quality.

We had our little old Pomeranian/chihuahua Gino with Hanrob in Melbourne for 7 days and it was excellent. He shared a room with another old dog of similar size, gave him a daily walk and cuddles and also gave him a wash just before we picked him up. The staff are exceptionally friendly and you can tell they care for the animals as if they were their own. Hanrob was recommended to us by a friend before we went on holiday and it was the perfect place for Gino, we didn't worry about him at all while we were away. Highly recommended!

we had to put our German Sheppard into care for a couple of days, he also badly needed a bath and a groom, when we picked him up, he was happy and clean, we were very satisfied, we love him dearly as he is only 20 mths old, and though there had been bad remarks, we decided to trust the fact that we had heard some very good ones also, so we took the risk, and we are very very glad that we did, we will definitely use Hanrob again, we were very happy with their service, thanks to everyone who took great care of Cessna for us.

I have used Hanrob a few times now and always feel comfortable leaving my dog, Bella there. It's great to feel confident leaving my Bella at Hanrob as I know she will be looked after and always has a playmate to share a room with. Am impressed with the cleanliness of the premises and is lovely and modern and staff are caring and helpful and is extremely ideal being close to the airport. I would highly recommend Hanrob Pet Hotel for your beloved pet.

Sammy loved her time at Hanrob Heathcote meeting new doggies and spending time with wonderful carers.Hanrob has friendly customer service, pickup service from your local vet and we were able to get pictures on Facebook of her while we were on vacation!When she arrived home we received a Holiday report card letting us know who her friends and carers were and what she loved to do.

My dog Coco has stayed at Hanrob in Tullamarine for both short stay weekends and up to 3 weeks a number of times. I have used them both when I have had work trips and holidays. She has also been through the 'Training for Life' 18 day program with Tina and her team so Coco has been a Hanrob guest quite a lot. Every time she returns she is happy, well exercised and smells fantastic. She has only had good experiences there and so have I with all staff. When I drop her off to Tullamarine on the way to the airport she is always pulling at the lead to greet everyone and quite happy to be left in their care. As she gets Platinum Paw she also gets lots of attention and the staff have been very good in updating me when I call of her progress and how she is coping. She loves her holidays there and this gives me such piece of mind. Particularly as she was a very sick puppy when she ate snail pellets when I left her with friends at six months. Being able to drop her off or get the vet pick up from my local vet takes such a weight off my mind, knowing she is being watched and cared for properly and with the genuine affection all the staff and trainers have for her. She has become a very happy confident well trained dog thanks to the training and I would happily recommend the 'Training for Life' program with Tina and often do to friends. Thanks Hanrob for making mine and Coco's experience so stress free and enjoyable.

We have used Hanrob for a number of years for our kelpie cross Jack. Jack is fussy about his surroundings, food and his daily activities but is always happy when we arrive at Hanrob. The staff remember him and it is lovely to see the same faces each time we go. We have paid for the Suites which are ideal for dogs who enjoy their alone time (i.e. good quality sleep!) and have all the creature comforts of home. Staff allow him to bring his favourite toy (fluffy duck) which is always returned to us cleaner than when we dropped it off. The photo updates are also much appreciated and staff have always been flexible when we modify our drop off and pick up times. I'd highly recommend Hanrob, and particularly the Suites if you have a much loved family pet but are worried about putting them into boarding.

Our Spoodle Zoe just got home from 18 day training program & she had a fantastic time! She still has the personality we love but calmer and we are in control rather than her being boss! The entire experience with Hanrob was fantastic, all the staff especially trainer Tina were exceptional! Definitely recommend Hanrob.

My Lagotto had to board with Hanrob for 40 days. I was extremely nervous as I had read mixed reviews. He is an expensive very well loved family dog. We paid for daily training and play sessions. Results have been noticeable and he is in great condition (both mental and physical). He had a fantastic relationship with his trainer and was clearly well looked after. I would definitely 100% recommend Hanrob. This was during the very busy Christmas period, I sent with him adequate tick and flea as well as worming treatments and had his kennel cough booster prior to give him the best possible coverage. He has been returned in perfect health.

Chopper, my Jack Russell had constant activity (which is a must for this breed) and enjoyed every minute of his stay. It was a pleasure to pick up a happy healthy dog. The staff are alll efficient and courteous and nothing is too much trouble

Being the first time we had to board our babies we were a bit nervous of leaving them, however as soon as we checked them in we felt a sense of relief as the staff were so welcoming, Priscilla was so kind and a real dog lover herself, it was not like parting money with a business that just did you a service. We knew that our babies would be looked after by people that cared, all my worries were over when we left for the airport for our Christmas in Perth. Finally feeling relaxed we could enjoy our break, as too our babies, we opted to have the play time twice a day which was very affordable and to be honest more than they would get at home. We called in by phone once to check on them and as expected they were very happy and eating well. We picked them up on New Years Eve and they were so excited to see us it was so wonderful. Thank You Hanrob we will deff be using you again and the location at Sydney airport is perfect as its next to the long term car park, very convenient. I cant talk highly enough of the staff and service our dogs received. Thank You Graeme and Craig

My German Shepherd has stayed at Hanrob numerous times including a few weeks ago. Every time the staff have been so lovely and caring. While no news is good news, they always keep in touch if they need to. I know they do a great job because my fluffy girl comes home with a big smile on her face. My daughters also love the bow she gets in her hair when she gets home after her wash. Definitely recommend Hanrob.

I always put my Dog at Hanrob as they have a really good facilities. My dog always happy & I also have a peace in mind coz i know my dog was in a good hand. But just for the last time I put her at Hanrob over xmas period, when i picked her up she was sick, her feet infected by some bacteria. Never been like this before. Overall, I will still recommend Hanrob to my friend. Compare to the other places, Hanrob is still the best and I will always trust Hanrob.

Our dog Bindi is nearly l2 and has been going to Marendale at Duffys Forest (now Hanrob) since she was a puppy. She is now a "special needs" dog as she is blind and deaf. Apart from that she is healthy. She knows the staff and the surroundings up there and they really do spoil her - she has her own run and gets taken for walks. She always goes there happy and has always enjoyed it even in her younger years when she had a playmate in with her and was able to socialise with other dogs.

Our lovable dog Samson has been going to Hanrob, twice even three times a year,for the last 6 years. It incrediable to see the loving nature the Hanrob team has for my pet, each and every time. When we drop him off, Samson jumps out of the car to run in to Hanrobs, that tell's us everything! Highly recommend it!

Our kelpie Oscar stayed at Hanrob Duffy's Forest over the New Year break. He had stayed there before when it was Marendale and we had always been happy with the service then but we were a little bit nervous as this was our first experience with Hanrob. We needn't have worried. Oscar had a fantastic time! He got plenty of time to socialise with other dogs (something he loves to do) and was returned to us shiny, happy and healthy! He and his carer had an affectionate goodbye with one another when it came time for him to come home, a good sign that the staff really do love what they do. An added bonus with Hanrob is that they have a Facebook page and we were able to see photos of Oscar and his friends having fun while we were away. Excellent service, we wouldn't think of taking Oscar anywhere else :)

Our dog Tomkins had his second stay at Hanrob airport for 2 weeks over Christmas. We first took him there on recommendation from a friend. He can be nervous with other dogs and the staff took care to match him with dogs right for him. The staff gave me the confidence that they understood him, really cared for him and were giving him the special care he needed. He was one happy, relaxed and healthy dog at the end of ours, and his, holiday.

We have been fortunate to have Hanrob as our chosen pet accommodation and have used them several times for our German Shepherd dog and Burmese cat. Our dog has experienced the obedience training with caring staff to to manage her development. On other occasions our dog has spent great playtime, socialising with all kinds of breeds. A great thing. Our older cat always comes home happy and not stressed. He is a fairly demanding cat asking for attention and gets that attention at Hanrob. We have always been more than satisfied with the care and attention. The pick up and return travel from our vet makes for easy utilisation. Can't recommend this service highly enough. Exceptional.

We moved to Sydney in 1995 and have boarded dogs at Hanrob ever since. We like that they collect the dog from our vet as this is a positive place for her, which means our dog is settled before we leave her - and the added bonus is that we don't have to drive to Hanrob. When we had two dogs, they were boarded together in the same run and this worked very well. Now with only one dog, we ask Hanrob to board Billi with a similarly small dog and this is a great arrangement as she has company and is also well socialised. We pay an additional amount for Billi to have daily playtime and this combined with Hanrob's general care of her seems to work as she always comes home 'normal', happy, healthy and clean! The longest time we have boarded a dog at Hanrob is three weeks. We don't begrudge the cost as we know our dog is being well looked after, and I am pleased to give this reference.

We board our Staffy Shelby at Hanrob once maybe or twice a year, most of the time it's the peak Xmas period. We love Hanrob because Shelby get the best of care from the fantastic, caring staff. We also love it because she always comes home exactly the same as from the time we drop her off to the time we pick her up;bshe gets play time and a bath on departure. The facilities are very clean and tidy; we always had have Shelby stay in the suites, as she's an inside/outside girl as she loves nothing more then to lay on a bed or in the sun. Shelby is our world, so going away and knowing that she is in the best care make us very happy to leave her at Hanrob. I couldn't think of any were better for our girl to stay.

We board our beagle Alfredo once a year over Christmas/New Year for a period of 10-14 days. He always loves it there as he is an "only" dog and there is lots of doggie company for him. He even has a doggie roommate to snuggle up to at night! He has been going there for about 6 Christmases and is always happy and well cared for. We even had him trained one year to address some problem behaviours which, for the most part, worked out well. We were able to see where he boarded and were happy with the level of care taken with him, and the facilities themselves which smelt clean and fragrant, rather like the dog himself when he got home after a final bath! We will keep sending him there for future Christmases as they also do pick ups/drop offs at local vets.

My two dogs spend all of my time out-of-town at Hanrob because they are very well cared for and always return happy and bathed. Hanrob's staff is very professional and really cares for my animals; so much so that when I pick up my dogs they regret to see them go. Can only recommend Hanrob in Heathcote to everyone who is looking for holiday boarding or short stay-away from home for business trips.

My name is Marlo. I am a cross kelpie/unknown breed. I am seven and a half years old and require lots od exercise and cuddles as at home I am thoroughly spoilt. For this reason my owners have always chosen Hanrob Kennels. At Hanrob, all my needs are met. I go both to the airport and Engadine on a regular basis. At the Airport all the staff know me and love me. I get cuddled fed twice a dayand my owners have no problem in paying for the platinum package which gives me the exercise I require. I usually look a bit too healthy after my stay so no extras for a week to slim me down!!! I am looking forward to my next holiday soon at Hanrob.

Hanrob has always looked after Harvey as if he one of their own pups. He always comes home happy and cheerful. His report cards are always a pleasure to read and it appears he's a hit with the staff. Our first time at Hanrob DUFFYS FOREST, Dog and 2 cats, came home very happy and very well, they all had a good report, smelt fresh and sweet, the staff were so sweet and seemed so caring, and we will definitely use them again. Their lodging did cost more than our holiday including air fares - how about a discount for length and how many pets. Thanks a lot

My puppy whippet, six months old, went for the 18 day training and boarding. When I picked him up he was skin and bones! I asked if he was eating and if they were feeding him properly and they said yes, actually 3 times a day. Impossible! He was weak, shy and scared. Took him 3 days to come back to eat properly and be a happy dog again. About the training, when they've showed me over there it was all beauty. He did all the 5 tricks, but i've noticed they needed to choke him for that. We all know that it is all about the behaviour and reward, not physical when training a dog. The first day that I've followed up on the training he was fine. It's been 10 days now, everyday I do 2 sessions and he sits perfectly. All the rest he needs rewards. I've been told he only needed rewards for coming back to me... I'd never put him through that again. If you don't want to make you dog suffer, find him a boarding family when you need. Plenty of good people around.

This is the second year that we have left our little man at Hanrob. He is an older dog, 14 years old and stays in luxury accommodation with aged care option. The wonderful dedicated staff took extra care of him as he is on a special diet and has medication that needs to be taken, this was not a problem. Our little man settled in quickly and felt at home straight away, he didn't even notice our leaving. We too had a good time away as we did not worry about the care that he was getting. When we picked him up on the Sunday afternoon the four carers at the desk knew our little and were able to tell us about him. We are confident in using the service at Hanrob and continue to use it. Our little Pomeranian seems to enjoy his time away as much as we enjoy our time away. Thank you Hanrob for the unique service that you provide and the for quality of your carers. We would recommend Hanrob to anyone.

The care he received was excellent and my family were given information every time they called and also photos were uploaded on facebook so we could see him while we were overseas. They really care about your pet and their staff are very accommodating if your pet has any special needs. We were able to drop our pet at out local vet and Hanrobs picked him and dropped him back there. We were very happy

I would like to express my gratitude to the staff at Hanrob Heathcote for the care that they provided our Golden Retriever, Hugo, last school holidays (September 25th to Oct 3rd). Hugo is a very timid, gentle soul and your staff did everything they could to make him more comfortable. This was his first time with you, and one staff member in particular, Christina, who was on reception at the time I brought him in, was absolutely wonderful with him. We had phone calls from her due to the fact that he wasn't eating, and other calls just to reassure us, and to tell us that he needed to have medication. Christina showed Hugo the love that I would expect a Boarding Facility would provide, and more. We have boarded two other golden retrievers with you over the last 20 years and we have never had any issues . We have booked Hugo in for the Christmas break and even though we know it won't be easy, we can take comfort knowing that he will be loved. Thank you once again.

Excellent facility and staff very pleasant. I boarded 2 dogs at the facility for approximately two weeks. The staff looked to genuinely care for the animals and it seemed like a great spot to leave the dogs.

Our dog Bear just spent 10 days at Hanrob, Heathcote. We were hesitant as we really had not heard the best reviews but I have to say Bear came back one very very happy dog (and I think a bit fatter too). We did not ask for him to b wash but he was anyway, thank you Hanrob, and after all his playtime and socialising, he was one tired but happy dog when he got. Our experience with the staff was excellent, very professional and friendly. I would not hesitate in recommending HANROB @ Heathcoate. Thanks from us and especially from Bear.

Unfortunately both of my dogs came back from Hanrob with a skin disease which took a good month to clear. The staff at Hanrob did not even tell me that they had skin irritations, or maybe they did not even realize. Also, when I collected them in the morning, I had to wait for them to be washed as they had not done so already (even though I told them when I would be coming to pick them up). Even after they had been washed, they were still were not clean. Overall, I would never put my dogs in this kennel again and would never recommend it to anyone.

My dogs, Ben and Max, boarded with Hanrob Pet Hotels over the weekend near Melbourne Airport. I just wanted to thank Hanrob Pet Hotels for the excellent service. This is the first time we have boarded them with Hanrob Pet Hotels and my husband and I were so impressed with the service. The staff were so friendly and the communication was excellent. Also, Max is a very timid dog, so I was very surprised to see him jumping up the staff and licking them when we picked them up- Hanrob Pet Hotels obviously made an impression on him too! Thanks again- we also really appreciate Hanrob Pet Hotels allowing us to pick them up so close to closing on Sunday night. We look forward to boarding them with Hanrob Pet Hotels again soon.

We had our 1 year old lab in during this year. He stayed for a couple of weeks and we took advantage of the training for life program too. It was great and everyone from phone staff, trainers, reception etc was great. We used the 'drop off' service at our local vet which is great and took the hassle away at the start of the holiday. Place looks great and importantly dog was happy and not stressed when we picked him up!! thanks soo much

This was the second time we have placed our dog Trigger in the wonderfully caring hands of the Hanrob staff. We are always welcomed with warmth, and Trigger is looked after exceptionally. The best thing for us is that Trigger settles in quickly when he gets home again, and he always does this. He always seems happy and energetic when we pick him up, which shows us he has had a positive time at Hanrob. I absolutely love the holiday report card you get at the end of the stay, and how any special requirements for our dog are welcomed without fuss. I was very disappointed!!! My poor dog come back home having lost weight and having severe eye ulcers. The ulcers were not their fault but they did not seek medical attention.Hanrob did call the day of pick up to tell me to get the vet to look as he had had weepy eyes the night before but he in fact had severe tear staining on large area of face and forelegs were he had been rubbing ,this extreme staining could only have occurred over a period of time as confirmed by my vet. One would think with the amount of money I spent he would have been cared for better... Shame on you Hanrob!!!

I have used Hanrob pet hotels twice now and although I have not been to the facilities myself, it is great that they offer a pick up service from my vet. My dog came home smelling like she'd been washed although I didn't ask for it so thank you. She is always contentedly tired when she comes back as though she's had and active and happy time. I like the personal report card she gets too. I have used other dog kennels before and I think it would be good to have a Facebook page of general photos of the day with the dogs out and about that I could see as part of the service.

I booked my dog in for the 18 day dog training program. When talking to staff on 3 different occasions regarding the training problem I was assured that they would be able to "potty train" my dog. On arrival at Hanrob I filled in my form for what I wanted the training to achieve, and also questioned if I needed to provide the equipment to train him. The receptionist read it over and assured me they provide everything. Three days later I received a call from the trainer to check in on my puppy's training progress, he went over the training and didn't mention the Potty training so I asked how it was going. The trainer sounded very confused, and told me that Hanrob didn't offer potty trainingâ€¦ upon hearing this I decided it was best to get my dog back and request a refund, as the only reason he was at Hanrob was for the potty training, everything else I could manage at home. The trainer put me through to a manager who was at first very helpful. She offered a full refund and let me know that I could come and pick him up the next day (a working weekday). I explained that I work full time and it wasn't possible to miss work to go and pick him up, and I hadn't requested leave as the dog was meant to be in there for another 15 days. The manager expected me to pay for the rest of the weeks boarding, and to collect him on Saturday. Ridiculous as my dog was only in the facility because misleading information from booking and reception staff. I didn't think it was reasonable to end up out of pocket for the facilities mistake. The manager eventually offered up that they could return the dog to my local vet free of charge, why she didn't say this in the first place is still baffling me, days later. My dog was returned to the vet and I called to confirm that he was there. When calling the vet they assured me that, yes a dog had been returned that day from Hanrob but they couldn't confirm it was my dog as he was dropped off with no paper work, no information from the facility, not even a name, hmmâ€¦ I collected my dog thankful that this whole ordeal was over. I was wrong. Hanrob had returned my dog, but not his harness or lead. So I was back on the phones calling the Manager, who claimed it wasn't policy to take harness's or leads from the animals, and I must be mistaken (second time this manager had insinuated I was at fault). I gave Hanrob the benefit of the doubt and checked my home and car for the lead and harness. I tried to call the manager back to tell her it wasn't there, but no answer. Left a message, but no call back. The next day I called Hanrob again asking to speak to the manager, she was busy but passed on the message that she had found my dogs harness and lead. Turns out I wasn't at fault (again), but had I not called to ask, would I ever have heard back about my harness and lead? The worst part in all this is the lack of customer service, mistakes happen and that's understandable, but I am still sitting here wondering why it was impossible for the manager to say â€œwe are sorry for the inconvenience causedâ€â€¦ an apology goes a long way in these situations. To add injury to insult my dog has come home with fleas.

The people/staff are OUTSTANDING - our pets LOVE the attention and the love they get. What makes a differnce for me is that my dogs are excited when they arrive. We also recently loss one of our "loves" - who passed away peacefully in her sleep while at Hanrob and the staff were amazing. The way it was all handled was with the upmost in kindness , love and respect. Hanrob helps us manage through a very difficult time.

A huge thank you to Hanrob Dog Trainers. What an amazing transformation we have seen in our dogs. I recently placed my two puppies with their trainers as with two young children, a business to run and tradesmen I had bitten off more that I could chew trying to train a 5 month old and 9 month old pup. Jess and Mel at Hanrob were amazing. They transformed our out of control dogs and turned the eldest dog which was very in happy and turning nasty into the most wonderful affectionate dog. I could not recommend them highly enough. Although we missed them during their stay it was worth every movement and every cent. Thank you so much for giving us the beautiful dogs we knew they could be .... We are so very grateful.

The staff at Hanrob were exceptional to deal with. Having a young pet we wanted to ensure that she was looked after and these guys did an excellent job. Not only that, when our dog was dropped in, our 5 year old daughter was upset and worried about missing her dog so the staff took her on a tour of the facility and then followed up the next day by sending some photos of our puppy playing so our daughter could see her. This sort of service I think goes way beyond what is expected. Fantastic job guys and we will definitely be back whenever we have a holiday from now on. Thanks so much.

this would have to be one of the best pet care businesses in sydney. if you need to board your dog or cat for any period of time this is the place to put on your list. clean, spacious accomodation for your pet, good quality food and plenty of exercise. boarded my tibetian spaniel here recently for a fortnight, and couldn't have been more happy with his appearance on our return. will be going back

Pet's are always happy when they return from Hanrob. They are well cared for, have a regular routine and carer and their health is monitored carefully and any issues are communicated to owners. A vet is always on hand if there is a need. If requested an email is sent providing an update of how pet's have settled plus photographs - important when you may be away for an extended period. Pet's are given personal attention and play periods with other animals plus their carer.

Disgraceful. Old dog kennels used as cat cages, open to the cold air via the cat play area. Rows and rows of cages where the cats can all see each other. Concrete floors. Hammocks instead of hideaway shelves or enclosed igloo beds. Litter tray and food on the floor together. 1 shelf with no bedding to sit on - but then can see all the other cats. Should not be allowed to board cats. My 2 Burmese were traumatised after 3 days (despite staff saying they had settled in well). I took them out immediately when I saw them frozen and growling at me! I will report this facility to RSPCA. May be ok for dogs but cruel for cats.

This is my first time using Hanrob as pet boarding. I had mixed experiences regarding their staff members, some being friendlier than others. I cannot say whether my dog was happy or not with his boarding there and I picked him up from a local pick-up point. He returned looking thinner and when I first met him, he seemed disconnected, which made me worry. I noticed that his breath also smelled a bit, which could be due to a different brand of food given. But he seemed groomed, and when back at home, was very energetic. Before boarding at Hanrob, pet was very shy toward other dogs and humans. But after boarding, he seems more confident in interacting with both. He also became more playful and is no longer afraid climbing down the stairs. So I assume he must have picked these up from Hanrob. His overall behaviour has improved after boarding, so I will not hesitate to leave him at Hanrob again for future stay.

This was our first time using a pet minding service and we were very happy with our experience. We were nervous at first but due to the great service at Hanrob our minds were put to rest. We called while away and got an update and when we picked our pet up we got a detailed report card telling us everything about his experience there. He was not stressed at all when he got home. Have just used them a second time and would highly recommend to anyone to leave their pet there.

My dog has stayed at Hanrob 2 times this year and I am so happy with the dedication the staff have for the pets. My dog is on a special diet and medication and the staff made sure he would eat his food and feel at home. MY dog has stayed in both the standard and luxury accommodation and both were good although luxury is more expensive it is more what my dog is used to at home. At Hanrob a dog is not just a dog every dog is different and requires different needs and they deliver on that. I would get updates on my dog regularly and that piece of mind made me feel more relaxed while I was on my trip. The staff work long hours to make sure our pets are happy and safe and I can't thank them enough for their commitment and dedication they give to our pets, a special thank you to Christina and Angela.

I love Hanrob. :) My boyfriend and I have left our cat Sophie at the Hanrob Pet Hotel in Heathcote three times now, and we'll keep using Hanrob every time we go on holiday. This was the first time I had boarded my cat and found the service at Hanrob to be very good. The pick up and drop off service was very convenient as the vet was nly a few minutes formwhere i lived. It save be a lot of time especially with a midday flight! My cat came back very clean and happy and i even got a report card as to how he went in his time with them ( although they did describt him as a "she"). My only complaint would be that playtime for him was an additional cost and not part of the service - i think it would be good if these additional extrs were costed upfront on the website. Overall though, Iwas very happy with the sevice and would use them again.

We've been using Hanrob to board our two cats since 2006. There's no disputing the quality -- our cats always come home happy, clean, and smelling great. They are particularly good with anxious cats who aren't used to being around other animals or unfamiliar people. Their free pickup/delivery service, which operates through an extensive network of Sydney-area veterinary clinics, is both convenient and well-run. My only quibble is that their pricing structure as shown on their website isn't as transparent as it could be. Prices for standard cat boarding "start from" $21/day, yet I have never been offered a price that low, regardless of the time of year I book. Prices during autumn/winter are $22/day, and during school holidays the price goes up to $24.50/day. They do mention that there is a small surcharge for cats over the age of 11 years, but they don't mention that a $5.75/day surcharge also applies to slightly younger cats (our cat is 9 and attracted the surcharge, but I'm not sure exactly what the cutoff age is). I'm not arguing with these prices or implying that they're exorbitant, but it would be nice to see this information clearly laid out on the website so an accurate estimate can be calculated before booking. On the topic of price, I also miss their discounted rates for two cats from the same family sharing accommodation. I'm not sure when or why they ceased that practice, but unfortunately it means they're not quite as affordable as they used to be. Overall, however, the care our cats have received at Hanrob has always been top-notch, and we will continue to use their boarding service as well as recommend them to our cat-owning friends.

My Yorkie stayed with Hanrob for two weeks. We dropped her off at the Chatswood Vet Friends. It was very easy and efficient for us as we live 10 min from the vet. I plan to leave Chloe there again. When I tried to book the second visit, Hanrob insisted that she have her shots, which are due the same time she is to stay there, at least two weeks before the visit. That makes me feel good about the owners. They are making sure that no dog is getting other dogs sick without the proper vaccinations. It's a bit pricey, but not much more than other boarders. THe people who I've spoken with are always very nice.

Our much loved Golden Retriever is an enormous sook and we were super stressed boarding him. He was boarded for one month and had the training program. We had to come back to Hanrob a couple days after we picked him up for our training and he was clearly so excited to be back. He was especially thrilled to see his trainer Tina. The grounds are clean and tidy, the staff are kind, friendly and obviously love animals. We would have no hesitation in using Hanrob again - next time we wouldn't even worry about our huge baby as we know he was perfectly looked after.

My dog died at Hanrob; Shea, a healthy vibrant and bouncy 4yo Great Dane. I searched high and low for a premium facility that would match my expectations regarding her level of care and after multiple phone calls and research I thought I had found the place with Hanrob. For this, although very expensive, I did not mind to pay over $500 a week for her care as long as she received the best care I could find. The primary reason I chose Hanrob was due to the claim that there was â€˜24 hour veterinary care' available. After discussions with the office staff I understood that this meant animals were consistently monitored throughout the night, such that if they needed veterinary attention this was available. I was also able to organise for an additional charge Shea to be walked four times a day. After Shea died I learnt she only ever was taken out for two x 10-15 minute walks a day â€“ a mistake on Hanrobs part even though I asked if this was been performed throughout Shea's stay when I called for check ups. I don't think this is appropriate for a giant breed such as a Great Dane which is why I requested and was happy to pay for more walks initially. This was not the first time someone else had looked after my dog. However being a veterinarian I am well aware that big dogs such as her can suffer from a condition known as â€˜gastric dilatation volvulus' or â€˜bloat'. This is again why it was so important to me that she was monitored day and night. I do not feel that Hanrob matched the level of care they promised. In my case I believe this led to the death of my dog which has devastated and rocked my family. Three days before Shea was due to come home I received a very matter-of-fact phone call in the morning telling me she had died of bloat overnight. This is an extremely painful condition in which the majority of dogs take hours to die. Therefore most owners are able to recognise the dog is unwell and they are taken to a vet. The success rate of treatment with prompt recognition of clinical signs is above 80%. After Shea died I received her boarding records which also showed she had diarrhea on more than one occasion which indicated to me she was unwell prior to her death and which I feel should have been communicated to me. I have met with the owners of Hanrob and they have reimbursed me the money I paid for the extra walks. Hanrob have also taken down their '24 hour vet available' claim. I learnt that there are two people that live on site but on a normal day animals are locked up around 6pm and then seen again in the morning. Hardly the â€˜24 hour care' I had thought Shea was receiving. Hanrob also won't admit Great Danes anymore. This doesn't help me though. The advice I would give is for a normal boarding facility Hanrob is probably just fine. But where you are looking for individual care I would never recommend Hanrob. It's hard for me to say â€˜make sure you ask all the right questions'. I thought I did and yet I still can't help but feel deceived in the end in regards to the level of care I was paying for and thought she was receiving.

I want to thank Riannon at the Hanrob Sydney Airport location for really going above and beyond! We were delayed at Melbourne Airport for 4 hours and it looked like we were not going to make it back to pick up Jackson our Staffy X by the 8.30pm cut off. We called Hanrob and Riannon was great, she made me feel really comfortable about Jackson was happy and offered to do a complimentary if we needed to pick him the next day. Fortunately we then landed at 8.10pm and called her from the terminal. Riannon waited back for us to come and collect him on a Saturday night when I am sure she had better things to do. Really outstanding service and a true love of animals. Thank you again and again. You rock Riannon. Your a great asset to Hanrob. On top of this great service we recieved a 50% discount on the boarding due to the November offer. One very happy customer.

We were very worried about leaving our little dog Lucky as he had been very sick a month before. He had got to a stage that he would not leave our side so leaving him with strangers was very worrying to us. To our supprise Lucky fitted in very well and did not even flinch when we left. We had to put our puppy into kennels at age 6 months and were a little nervous at doing so as he was so shy and timid. After doing extensive internet research we discovered Hanrob. We are so pleased with our decision as we have been delighted with their service, care and concern for him. Our puppy has now been to Hanrob on 3 occasions and we have absolutely no hesitation or concerns about him going there. Hanrob do a complimentary pick up and drop off from our local vet clinic which is wonderful. Our puppy comes home from each holiday with his report card outlining how he settled in, the friends he made, playtime etc. All the staff I have spoken to have been lovely and genuinely very caring. It is a load off our minds to have found such a wonderful place for our puppy to stay.

I have been boarding my cats here for years as one was sickly and most boarding facilities wouldn't take him, Hanrob always did and understood his illness. They are always well cared for and come home well. One of the few places that will actually let you see the area where your pet will be boarding.

Sending my little girl staffy who suffers from severe separation anxiety to a boarding facility was a daunting prospect. My dog's vet had recommended the Hanrob pet hotels as a safer/less traumatic accommodation alternative to staying with my mum. I am not sure who was more anxious on the drop off day! All my fears quickly dissipated after the first telephone update I received from the wonderful staff at Hanrob (Heathcote) who were both sensitive to the situation and more than well placed to deal with it. That first call meant I could go on my holiday and actually enjoy it without spending it worrying about my dog's well being. After a 7 day stay at Hanrob, my dog arrived home not only happy and healthy but she also looked and smelled amazing compliments of her bath. She also arrived with her bag of toys all in perfect order and a lovely report card outlining her experience during her stay. I would not hesitate recommending the Hanrob pet hotels to anyone (even to someone with a special needs dog like mine!). In fact, I have already recommended it to my neighbour who will be booking her pup in for a stay at the end of the year. Do your fur-baby a favour and let them have a wonderful holiday while you are having yours! PS. The pick up/drop off service is a stroke of genius. It was the icing on an already perfect cake!

They seem great - dogs are always exhausted but happy when they return. The collection and drop off service is great. BUT $400 for 2 dogs for what could be as little as 2.5 or 3 days depending on when they were collected from the vet or dropped off is expensive. But then most kennels are not cheap so a bit more for te quality os ok.

Hanrob was fantastic! My family had a unpleasant experience at another boarding facility, so we shopped around. When I was asking for recommendations, my local vet highly recommended Hanrob. The staff were so caring and clearly loved the animals. On check in I was given all the information I needed to feel confident I have chosen the right place. I also booked in their Staying Connected package - it was great to see my dog throughout my holiday by a Skype session, photo and video updates. They even place photos on their Facebook page which is included in the boarding rate. Seeing my dog enjoying his time - was money well spent. We had a great experience with Hanrob, our dog came back to us so relaxed and healthy. They are expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for! We will definitely be back!

Our dog did a 3 week in house intensive training program due to behavioural problems. Although only early days, we have been home for 4 days we have noticed a big improvment in his behaviour and he seems to be a much calmer dog, so far we are happy with the outcome.

Before you book your dog at Hanrob I would like to bring to your attention to Clause 10 of Hanrob Terms and Conditions: â€œUnder no circumstances will Hanrob, or its employees or agents, be held responsible for Paralysis Tick, Canine Influenza, injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever, whether or not caused by any negligent, act or omission of Hanrob, its employees or agents, that may occur to any pet staying at Hanrobâ€. Their website looks great but my experience with them was very disappointing. My dog got sick with Canine Influenza a week into the three week training/boarding program at Hanrob Heathcote. He was checked by the vet and quarantined for the rest of the stay (consequently received minimal training). A day before scheduled pick up (10 days after the initial vet visit) Hanrob has advised that the dog's condition has even further deteriorated. I went to collect him immediately. He was skinny, coughing, sneezing, sad looking dog. Hanrob staff advised that they will conduct an investigation into the matter and get back to us with an explanation as to how his condition could get so bad. Two months later, after numerous attempts to follow them up, we are still waiting to hear from them. After talking to several other dog owners that have placed their dogs in Hanrob's care, I have uncovered that their dogs also have returned from Harob infected by Canine Influenza. They have thought that their case was an exception and were given the same excuses of â€œthese things happenâ€ and undertakings of â€œan investigationâ€, to no avail. In addition I have found out that the dogs are not fed â€œchicken and riceâ€ as advised when making the booking, but dog rolls and rice which is certainly not something I would be feeding my purebred dog at home. The total payment for the training that was supposed to be charged on the first day of the program was also taken out of my credit card 2 days prior without my consent. No discount/refund/any compensation was offered for this terrible experience. Throughout the whole stay Hanrob was extremely difficult to contact in order to obtain an update on my dog. There was no e-mail, photos or Skype as advertised on their website. My dog has recovered well under home care but I will not be returning to Hanrob. For a business that prides itself on a reputation and care for animals, Hanrob have shown little care when things go wrong. Their lack of customer service and genuine concern for animals under their care is disappointing. The overall experience was extremely stressful for our family.

Mostly very good, excellent pick up and delivery service to my vet. Very nice and apparently well trained staff.

Cat loved it; had a mate while there and really enjoyed play time. Hanrob was happy to have us look at the place first and see how the animals were, while boarding. Being able to drop off at local vets for pick up was great.

The carers at Hanrob always take excellent care of my dog. They are professional and reliable. The free pick up and delivery service is a bonus. I am always happy to board my dog with them.

The hassle was taken away with the free collection at drop off at our local vet. Maddy came back relaxed and happy. Was the first time she has been away as usually she stays at home with my brother. I will definately use again without hesitation and the cost was not expensive.

We have an energetic, and playful Boxer. We enrolled her into the Hanrob 18 day Bootcamp, and results were immediately noticeable. While she still has her bubbly and cheeky personality, we find her much more responsive and therefore have better control with her since Hanrobs work. Receiving emails and photos while travelling overseas, eased our minds that she was in good hands! We can trust the team at Hanrob, and have since commenced dropping our Boxer into Daycare once a week for her enjoyment/social growth. Highly recommend!

Very good staff who appear to genuinely care for the animals they look after. Our dog always seems to greatly enjoy the stay at Hanrob Heathcote. Not the cheapest but they are consistently reliable and provide a quality service.

Charlie (cat) came away from Hanrob as a well adjusted cat, just as he had gone in to Hanrob, before our 13 days away from him. He looked well groomed, healthy and happy, and was very pleased to see his M & D, with big purrrrrs!

This is the second time I have used Hanrob. The first time my dog was cared for during our seven weeks overseas vacation. Both times he has been returned looking glossy and well looked after. He has had the stimulus package and grooming options - I can highly recommend both.

After looking at other course providers I decided to study the Cert 1V in Companion Animal Services offered by the International Dog Academy/Hanrob. The course proved to have an excellent blend of practical and theory which complimented the learning process. The instructors (Ken and Jenn) were extremely knowledgeable, providing professional and ongoing assistance. Their teaching skills catered to all course participants. A highly recommended course for those interested in the animal industry and obedience dog training.

It's very convenient. I nearly always drop my dog at the local vet, who he loves. I have dropped him at the centre once, and he was very excited to be there. The staff who checked him in were very friendly. He always comes back happy and healthy. It's not cheap, but I think you get what you pay for. And he is a valued member of our family, so it's worth it to know he is happy and being looked after.

not bad at pricing, pet shuttle good, but the vet I left him at was not that good, (Liverpool on Hume Hwy). Cat came back hungry and unsettled but don't know who to blame and also he sneezed for about a week, again could have caught something at vet.

have been using these kennels for 0ver 35 years, back when it was known as tanrob [ undee tony hemskirk], and have put my dogs in whenever i have travelled, and have always received great satisfaction. the dogs come home healthy and happy [ flea free], and i have no hesitation in recommending them. a little pricey, but after all they are caring for your best friend

Hanrob is like our home away from home for our dog snuffy. He loves going there and we have great piece of mind too knowing that he will be looked after so well. They love their animals at Hanrob and I cannot speak highly enough of them. They have just introduced pet Skype and we have used this while away in early August and it was wonderful to see snuffy playing and happy and he could hear our voices !!! Luv it....

We needed overnight accommodation for our 9 week old dalmatian puppy between leaving the breeder and reaching her early morning flight to us, Hanrob was recommended to us through Jetpets, our puppy was well cared for and made feel comfortable and loved in her short time there, the staff were friendly and informative when they called to update us and she arrived home to us happy and energetic, a fantastic service!

I was very impressed by Hanrob. I have a dog and two cats. My dog went through some training and exceeded my expectations! No kitty training, but they were still happy cats when they came home :-)

My dog came home smelling beautiful! He was healthy and happy and looked liked he had a great time at Hanrob. My local vet recommended Hanrob to us, and after experiencing their service firsthand I will be recommending them to my family and friends. The best part was the regular photos and updates I was given, seeing Sam having a great time on his holiday put my mind at ease. Thanks again Hanrob!

We had our cat stay here whilst we ended up on holidays on various occasions. Periods varying from 2 weeks right up to 12 weeks. They might be a bit on the pricey-side but the service is great. You get what you pay for essentially and I haven't had any problem leaving a loved one there. I recommend you to pay for a shampoo wash service the day you pickup your pet. Saves you de-fleaing them at home....

awesome facilities, you can have your pets trained while you are away on holidays! I love that they have a large, entirely fenced in part for cats. I had to board my cat there for a couple of months and I loved that she could get out of her cage each day and run around and climb and lie in the sun instead of being shut in a cage for the whole time, they even include interactive play for an extra charge.
