We recently purchased a skylight from Brisbane Skylights. I’m over 80 and I felt very comfortable with every process. I was advised of the installation date and 2 days before the installing tradesman was to arrive I was given his approximate time of arrival. He arrived on time, spread a sheet over my floor and cabinets and was most polite. Not only is the product all it was promised to be, the staff were most professional. I would totally recommend this firm to all.

I would like to commend Brisbane Skylights' Installer, Liam who returned today to 'touch-up' spray paint the surround of our second skylight which was a replacement for an older skylight, of slightly greater diameter. He went the extra mile, also painting another spot on the ceiling, which we had not noticed, and checking above it on the roof near our other newly installed skylight and removing some debris. We are very happy with our two new skylights and the service of Brisbane Skylights. The office staff have also been very helpful. Thankyou from a happy customer. Lyn Hall

Loving my new solar tube skylight. It’s almost like I’ve turned a fluro light on and forgotten to turn it off. Not the cheapest product but you get what you pay for. Brisbane Skylights have now done my SolarStar ventilation system and Solartube skylight and I’m extremely happy with both. Very professional. May just get another skylight when the budget permits.

They quoted and installed in a timely and professional manor. The replaced an old skylight that never gave us mush light in our kitchen area. Once the solutube was installed it was like turning night to day. We no longer have to turn the lights on to work in the kitchen during the day. We had a solutube that was over 25 years old near our bathroom. It still worked but the dome was getting brittle and was marked up from a hail storm they were able to replace that as well. Couldn't be happier and would recommend them to anyone who wants to bring light into their home without turning on a light during the day. The light coming through at night is like having a night light in those areas....not too bright but able to see where you are going.

Phoned the company on Monday to discuss my needs. On Tuesday, the person who deals with the bookings called me back and made an appointment for two days later on the Thursday. The fitter turned up on time, fitted it exactly as we wanted and we love it. Should have had it done a year ago. I was quoted promptly (unlike a competitor). This quote was rechecked promptly. The ventilation unit was installed within 10 days.. There was no surcharge for a Saturday installation. The installer turned up on time and cleaned up afterwards. The unit is quite and working as intended. What more can you want?

Our installer was professional and showed up in the timeframe advised. He listened to my concerns and installed the solar stars where they would be effective and not block our existing solar panels. Our Solarstars have made a difference to the heat upstairs. There was no mess left and the solar stars have not leaked in the recent storms. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

I had been living with a very dark hallway since the house was built. A nice door with glass panels was considered, but very pricey and with an inbuilt lack of privacy. Brisbane Skylights provided a quick and easy online quote, and offered a payment plan that made the offer too good to pass up. I went for the NightLight version, which provides a useful moonlit glow at night in the hallway, enough to see where you are going but not bright enough to be intrusive at bedtime. Excellent service and product. Installer was quick and clean and has done a perfect job. I could not possibly be any happier with the results. Will probably install another in a different part of the house.

We had a skytube installed in our kitchen and the light in our kitchen now is amazing. We also received a giveaway for August and recieved the solar night light for free. Would highly recommend this addition. I can't imagine not having it now. It's not enough light to be offputting but just enough to navigate the space easily. Great for when you have to get up to the kids at night. I was a little disappointed I couldn't have the solartube in the spot I picked. But the installer took the time to show me photos of inside the ceiling Explaing why it couldn't go in that spot. And I'm happy with the end result and the light it provides.

We recently purchased a skylight for out kitchen from this company, the show room service was excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly. On the day of installation, i was very pleasantly surprised and how quick and efficient the installer was and to my complete amazement he totally cleaned up after himself. If it wasn't for all the light i now had in the kitchen, you would not have known anyone had been working in the room. I will definately be purchasing from this company again in the future.

To reduce the roof temperature from the extremely hot temperatures in January I had installed a solar panel exhaust panel. The tradesman completed the install and independently relocated the existing cap to balance the heat exhaust. The whole process was done quickly without any interruption to both the household or the roofline. It was a job well done

The best investment I ever made was to install solar tubes in my lounge & dining rooms. What an amazing difference it made & has saved on my power bill as no longer need lights on during the day. Wonderfully simple ordering process being able to talk to real people that were down to earth. The office communicated very well leading up to the installation. Unfortunately our quote got 'lost in the system' so we had to phone up to get it. Then the installer said that it was impossible to put a skylight where the salesperson had assured us it was possible, so we were very disappointed. On the upside, the one skylight that we had installed is great, and the installer was quick and professional.

The representative who came to quote explained the range of choice and recommended one for my two installations. She was confident that either of the positions she recommended would light up the dark areas of my kitchen and lounge. I felt confident in her recommendations and in the quality of the product after her explanations. The price quoted for the work was competitive. All staff that I spoke with were helpful. After receiving my quote for the skylight in the kitchen it was installed within 3 days. What a wonder job. Installed with no fuss or mess and Cody was just great. The next day we decided we needed a different defuser and it was no trouble for Solartube to call and have it changed. Cody the next day (Saturday) called with a few other defusers and we decided on the one to suit our needs.

We LOVE our new Skylight! It has made such a wonderful difference to the downstairs story of our house, no more dreary dark spot at the bottom of the stairs. Best money we have spent on the house. The service was excellent and the option of the stylish linen look light fitting that surrounds the skylight was an excellent bonus.

Quick and professional, helpful and flexible.One negative though is that the roof tiler said the flashing was not tight and maybe open to water leaking through the flashing.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. First contact was via the Web site for a quote, they where prompt on getting in touch and arranging for someone to come out, On the day of installation if was misty rain and overcast, the installer called and advised he was 30mins away, the job was finished in around 2.5 hours with no mess

I was delighted with my new sky lights and am pleasantly surprised with the amount of light that comes into my home. I keep going to turn a light switch off only to find the light source was coming from the sun and not an expensive power source. I would highly recommend this company for their service and installation. The team are friendly, professional and a pleasure to do business with.

We had a skylight fitted on 24th July to our living room. Much brighter now; indeed, we will need to look at having a filter fitted as it will be too bright once summer comes. Very glad we had this installed. Nick at Carindale.

Better result than we expected. Took weeks to stop reaching for the light switch to turn off the lights. No longer need to turn lights on to do vacuuming and washing floors or do the ironing! Wish we had done it sooner.

Coming in from the garage in the middle of the day I always had to turn the lights on in the hallway to see the keys to unlock other doors but no more thanks to our new skylight from Brisbane Daylight Systems. What a massive difference it has made. Should have done it ages ago. Good customer service both in showroom, and communications by phone. Installer was also very professional, and friendly. Work was carried out at the stated time, and duration, with a reasonable cleanup thereafter. Went for the largest solartube option as we had a very central room with little windows, result was pretty good all in all. We got what we envisaged for a result.

Skylight fitted to living area in apartment - I am very pleased with the installation and it sheds much-wanted light into what was otherwise a dark corner. Sometimes the light reflected has a blue tinge to it, but I believe I could install something to counteract that. All in all, I am very pleased with Brisbane Daylight Systems - they even came back to investigate my comment about the blue tinge - nothing was amiss - it was just the length of the tubing.

Our prime reason for contacting was Solatube Quality. The Brisbane Daylight Systems salesman who provided our quote was not 'pushy'. He provided the relevant information and left us to discuss and make up our own mind (we don't like being 'pushed' into a purchase). We were very happy with his knowledge and attitude. We would definitely recommend this company and their product.

We had a 160DS Daylighting System in out internal bathroom with no windows. What a difference it has made. The kids no longer leave the light on during the day and I quite often think they have!! Highly recommend the Daylighting System and Brisbane Daylight Systems to anyone.

Sky light in media room. Technician was extremely friendly, very obliging, and professional. The room was previously very dark even at midday. For the first few weeks after the installation we kept thinking we had left the light on!!! The room is now bright and full of light.

I arranged for a Light tube installation in my Mums kitchen. I still visit and think the kitchen light is on. Mum has the same experience, always checking that the light is not on. These light tubes, the higher performance ones, are incredibly efficient.

In April this year we had your company install a Sola Tube Roof ventilator for us. Prior to installing the ventilator the upstairs part of our house was extremely hot in summer and that is why we arranged for you to install the ventilator. After installation you asked us to comment on the difference but we thought in would be best to wait until summer came to evaluate the effect. We are pleased to report that the Sola Tube ventilator has made a significant difference. Previously on a really hot day the heat upstairs would hit you as soon as you go up. Now there is not that shock of the heat. For the money spent it has been money well spent. The unit we installed was the 15watt rather than the 10 watt and this has delivered the results.

Installer arrived on time and we worked out the best position for the skylight. Liam was polite and professional in his work, as well as not leaving any mess behind. The solatube was fitted in 2 hrs and it looks great. We also had quite a storm late afternoon and did not have any leaks, so to Liam, Fae and Carrie thanks for all your help and advice. Happy to recommend Brisbane Daylight Systems.

The lady I whom organised the installation was absolutely a pleasure to do business with, I can't stand pushy sales tactics which in the end I turn away. This wonderful lady sent information to me then a follow up call to offer assistance if needed. Her product knowledge was impeccable and also knowing the staffmember whom was coming out to install the solar tube saying how deadicated this installer is and saying I need not to have any concerns as he's one of the best, and I have to say he was. I have recommended this branch of solartube to my Commitee members on the Bodycorperate. I am on the Commitee and I have shown other owners what a great differance your product has made. Proud to say I am the only owner with a solar tube and with the response of the other owners not for long. Thank you for a pleasurable experience on having a brilliant bright bathroom.

We had a skylight put in and the job was down professionally. It was completed within about 1.5 hours and they cleaned up and were polite. The system we got was as they said it would be yet brighter. I wish we had done this 3 years ago when we first looked into it. I would recommend them if you are waiting a quality product and job done.

We have just had a Solar Star Roof Ventilation System installed consisting of 2 x RM 1200 units, internal vents and eave vents. It has made such a difference to the temperature inside our home. I found the installer quite professional in his undertaking of installing our Solatube. The vents were neatly installed and the installer cleaned up after himself. The Solatube product has made a difference to our attic and shed as our previous measures of cooling these areas had failed (motor burnout). The office staff kep us updated regularly and paying via direct debit was easy!

Prompt and efficient. Love it when people know their product and just get on with it. The poor bloke who did our install had his work cut out for him with the install in our 11 foot ceilings above the stairwell but he didn't flinch and just got on with it. Really appreciated that he cleaned up after himself. Product wise very happy with the light that comes through the "light' now. I was worried about the heat coming through but I was assured that it would only be the light no heat and they were indeed correct. It's great as on a hot day I can have the curtains drawn to block out the heat and yet the skylight still lets in enough light not to need electric lights. Very pleased.

We had two solar tubes with light add-on kits installed by Brisbane Daylight Systems in our hallway and walk-in robe as these two areas were always dark and gloomy. The difference since the installation is amazing! Our hallway and WIR are now well lit and we no longer have to switch lights on during the day - brilliant as I was constantly telling the kids to "turn off the light"! The service from start to finish was friendly, professional, and hassle-free. I would happily recommend this service to anyone thinking about brightening up their interior.

These good people came on time to provide a quotation as asked. All the options were fully explained and all questions answered without being overwhelming. Then, when I accepted the quote they again arrived on time and did a quick professional installation but unfortunately didn't clean up after themselves. Otherwise a professional reliable company to deal with.
