The company's products, though not cheap, are excellent, elegant and simply designed. They are made locally of Australian timbers. The men who delivered our bed and mattress were courteous and amiable, and enjoyed a joke. They carried our old mattress down 100 stairs for it to be collected by council. A very pleasant experience all round,

Wow! Our mattress is a bit of heaven! We loved the whole experience of selecting the mattress. The staff were great and the shop is gorgeous. But it’s the sleeping now that has made us fans for life.

I spent much time researching natural vs chemical latex, as my son is allergic to dust mites, and is quite sensitive. I found that this company offers genuine 100% natural latex, and not a blend of synthetic and natural. Also, comparing prices across several companies, these guys were very competitive. I also like the fact that I am supporting a family-owned business with ethical and sustainable practices.

Their advice, service and follow up was perfect. I wasn't sure what type of bed & mattress to order and I had very specific questions about the materials used - they provided heaps of great advice and didn't push the most costly setup - their advice was honest and very very helpful. I ended up ordering the bed and mattress as a package and I was so very pleased with both the products and the customer care from Natural Bedding Co from first contact through to follow up after delivery! Thank you!

Knowledgable sales lady, after looking for a new mattress for ages (we have been sleeping on big brand names) we bought the deluxe mattress, by far the best sleeps we ever had. (excellent firmness, and temperature)

We got The Deluxe mattress and the Jacaranda bed frame a few months ago. The mattress is absolutely wonderful to sleep on and the bed frame is beautifully made. My back pain has improved since sleeping on this mattress. Service and delivery were spot on. Thank you!

Friendly and efficient service and good quality product. The energy of this business and it's furniture is very good. I was very pleasantly surprised when my Magnolia bed was ready and delivered two weeks earlier than original estimate. The bed looks lovely in my room and I've had a week of the most comfortable sleeps I've had in a long time. Considering the good quality of materials and workmanship and reasonable price, I would have to say this furniture is about the best value around at the moment. I could easily have bought half the shop :)

After a lot of research online and gathered information from friends and family we finally decided to get our first latex mattress. We loved the information on the webpage and the fact all materials used are non toxic, sustainable and its locally manufactured. The Cloud 9 was our favorite too. Just a little comment on the review regards the smell, we double checked with Kate in store and she said it is more likely to come from the washed wool inlay rather the latex and will disappear after a couple of days and good ventilation. We loved the special of 20% which they have at the moment and even purchased a pillow for us and even cot mattress for the baby. Think about how much time you spend in bed each night! We are so happy to know that we are not inhaling dangerous chemicals as found in many cheap memory foam mattresses.

We received our Queen cloud 9 and two latex pillows yesterday and I have just awoken from the most blissfully comfortable sleep I've had in a long time. Being heavily pregnant, I have been waking at 4am with sore back, hips and neck. This morning I slept till 6.30 and woke feeling aligned and revitalized. Not to mention the peace of mind I now have from knowing these mattresses are not off gassing toxins & chemicals!! I also love the natural, hand-made, individual way these mattresses are constructed. The staff were very helpful & organized freight at a very reasonable cost all the way to Queensland for us. We were a bit hesitant to buy something from interstate without trying it first, but due to a lack of suitable and affordable alternatives we thought we'd give it a go - and we're very glad we did!!!

This business gives you a great feeling: it's locally owned and operated, has understanding and helpful staff that aren't pushy at all and don't mind if you take awhile to make up your mind (in my case, 6 months!). And they let me leave my needy dog tied up in their back courtyard while I checked out the beds! If you're nice to my dog you get a big tick of approval that's hard to tarnish :D I purchased a King Deluxe and Melaleuca frame nearing the $2,900 mark - that's the same $ ballpark as a similar product at a business like The Comfort Shop or Harvey Norman (in fact the Natural Bedding Co is way better) but these guys are supplying a local product and ethically made (as far as I can tell). Don't shop at a major chain when you can support local! The wait time was quite long - over a month - but since I'd taken so long to make up my mind anyway that wasn't a problem for me. Also since it's made to order, what do you expect? It would be a bit of a worry if they delivered next day! The guys delivering the frame had to come back a few times on the delivery day as they mixed up my slat base with someone elses but that actually turned out to be quite amusing and they were really apologetic and good about keeping me in the loop. Most importantly - the bed is amazing! Soooo good! FANTASTIC! I wish I'd bought it years ago :) But I had to save up first ;) It's worth it!

Excellent service. The mattresses are hand made to order so be prepared to wait 5-10 days after making your purchase. This is fine considering that all the materials used are natural and the cost of these mattresses relative to similar latex mattresses seems cheaper. Also as they are "freshly" made there is slight odor emitted from the mattress for the first few weeks which I'm guessing is the natural latex? It's not a bad smell however and dissipates after the first month. I ordered the Deluxe and was prepared to expect that it might be a little too firm for me which after a week or so it was so I went and bought one of their latex and wool overlays to add to the mattress. This is definitely now the most comfortable, yet supportive mattress I have ever slept on... bliss!

I am extremely happy with my purchase of a king-sized bed and latex/hemp mattress with side tables to match. I bought the bed online and had it delivered all the way to Lord Howe Island. It arrived in excellent condition without a scratch on it as the packaging was unbelievable. Nothing asked was too much trouble and I now have the best bed I have ever had. Thanks guys.

Loved how easy the process was from start to finish. Picked my mattress and bed package, got quote, paid, it was ready in a week and delivered to be door at the exact time organised and assembled in less than 10 minutes. On top of that, the mattress is beautifully comfortable (davenport). Excellent service and a quality product! Would definitely recommend this company.

What a difference the Natural Bedding Company is making in the world by giving people healthy, eco-friendly options when the majority of what is available is unacceptably toxic - when I sleep on a Natural Bedding Company mattress it made me feel really good because I feel really safe and protected (from chemical toxicity). Additionally, one of the big global problems we have is huge corporations and multi-nationals that prioritise profit over people. If all these big corp CEOs had even half the ethics and genuine, people-oriented customer service that Andrew has, it would transform the world. I bought a not inexpensive queen size bed but discovered that the design is faulty and allows the mattress to slide up under the headboard. This then leaves a gap at the other end between the end of the mattress and the foot of the bed; it not only looks ugly but means you often bang your leg on the sharp corner because you expect the end of the mattress to be the end of the bed (a not unreasonable assumption). I complained and even sent photos but they said that there are varying sizes of Queen mattresses and this can happen sometimes... well I've had three queen beds previously and all fitted the mattresses perfectly – what a crock that excuse is! They insisted if I wanted anything fixed that I bring the bed back at my own expense, which being a queen size bed is not easy (they delivered it). As the fault is theirs I would have expected better service and would not recommend this company or their beds. Also – check 'Trust value' of reviews on this page (under 80 means the only verification was an email address)... some seem a little too good to be true

Buying our bed and mattress at Natural Bedding was a great decision. We love our latex/hemp mattress! It's more comfortable than any of the latex mattresses we tried in larger bedding stores and it ended up being significantly cheaper. I also felt more confident buying from Natural Bedding because they are a small company that is really passionate about their products and it's clearly high quality workmanship. Once we got to the Natural Bedding store, we saw how gorgeous the bed frames were as well and ended up getting both the bed and mattress with a great discount. Customer service was fantastic-very professional and friendly. Our bed was supposed to take 5 weeks to be custom made and delivered and it ended up taking less than 2 weeks! Amazing! I highly recommend this company to anyone, it is simply excellent.

Incredibly patient and attentive customer service. We were so excited to find an Australian company that makes organic beds and mattresses entirely free from the chemical nasties to be found in the beds you find in standard bedding stores. We live in Adelaide and they made it really easy for us to feel confident in ordering from interstate. In addition to the bed base and mattress, they made us a bespoke upholstered bedhead - all organic, chemical free and cheaper than any other bespoke headboards we found.

After years of wondering, I got best bed I've ever slept on (latex and hemp, mainly a full slab of latex with tiny pores/holes that compress and return to a perfect shape. My partner and I joke that it's like sleeping on a cloud. I did go to commercial bed stores in Canberra and tried their normal looking latex matresses but they we're just like a normal matress so we drove the 3 hours to Sydney, tried out all the beds, liked the latex (allergy) one the most but found it a little firm so paid an extra $500 to get the wool and hemp overlay, and it's great. It was delivered (quite cheap!) within a week. If we could, we'd buy a second as a spare bed (double) but will get the plain cotton futon mattress instead (hardly anyone stays). Only suggestions would be that the showroom can only accommodate double

I experienced customer service at The Natural Bedding Company like never before in the entire 10 years I live in Australia. They made custom furniture for me, they then amended the design even further with no surcharge, I got exactly what I wanted, and in the end even received a refund as less material had been needed. They were 100% helpful, friendly and customer minded. I wished all businesses in Australia were operating like that. I hope I have a big house soon, so that I can buy many more of the beautiful products they make at the Natural Bedding Company!

My biggest requirement was an all-natural mattress - I don't like the idea of sleeping with flame-retardants and petro-chemical foams :-P These guys matched my request with 100% natural latex with wool, all wrapped up in hemp fabric. Even better - it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. I now have the same for my sofabed. You know that little internal groan you just did when I mentioned sofabed? Send it packing - gone are the days when you have to sacrifice comfort for space, this one is as comfy as my real bed (my guests rave about it :-)

I was in the market for a new bed and mattress and did not want to deal with a massive shop and staff that were disinterested or selling on commission where the 'facts' may get blurred. Sam explained the various options and their prices clearly and was happy to go over things that I had trouble taking in. When I made an alteration to the bedhead 2 years later, (& inadvertently changed the stability of the frame), I visited the shop and Sam organized carpenters to come to my house, look at the problem (I had caused) and make restitution. They were exceptional - phoned and made an appointment, turned up when they said they would, and go the problem sorted. I recently visited the shop again with my daughter who is looking for a new bed combo and was once again impressed with the explanation of the range and especially by a comment that 'the highest price is not always the best bed for YOU'. I like that integrity! PS Also Australian Made, Australian Owned, a small business where the guy serving you owns and manages the business and makes these environmentally sustainable products.

the product is the real star - great furniture and the most comfortable mattresses EVER. but the staff (who are also the owners and the manufacturers) are very friendly and helpful too, and the whole process of trying-buying-paying-delivering was smooth and easy. believe it or not, they actually deliver exactly when they say they are going to!

Compared with other bed shops and latex mattresses, the Natural Bedding Shop is miles ahead. Their range is wide, catering for a variety of tastes and needs and their prices are very reasonable. The work is all done locally and sustainably so we are not paying huge prices for transport and environmental destruction!

We purchased a wool and coir cot mattress from the Natural Bedding Company and I found their service to be excellent. Not only were the staff happy to answer my many questions but they also completed production of the mattress within 24 hours of my order! Their communication was fantastic and we're so happy with the quality of the mattress - it is such great value and I'm all for the 100% natural materials!

Checked everywhere for Latex mattresses & these guys were around half the price AND the materials are ALL natural, (cotton wool hemp coconut fibre depending on the model) No glues, sprays, etc. $50 delivery is great too!
