Thank you to Reece, Christine and the team at Total Solar Solutions. We have had a great experience from start to finish. Daniel was highly knowledgeable when looking for our first solar installation on our old house, and the subsequent installation with Reece and team was smooth and professional. When we ran into issues with our tile roof and LG batteries, the team was highly responsive in dealing with these, including battery replacement. When we were looking for a solar installation on our new house, and advice regarding a hot water heat pump, we knew who to go to. TSS goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. Their attention to detail, care with PV and battery installation, and follow up service is excellent. They are a pleasure to work with in all respects and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wow… what an experience! After doing extensive research on solar these guys certainly stood out. Reece new his product and gave the best advice on how to get the most out of our roof space. My husband and I had been thinking about getting solar at our home for quite some time but kept on putting it off under the false belief that it would be all to difficult to go through the burden of sieving through quotes, filling out paperwork, and making sense of the different systems out there. I rang Total Solar Solutions with not a clue where I was to start in the process, but from the moment Christine answered my call, my concerns about the complexities of getting solar were washed away. The team at Total Solar Solutions explained everything so well, the quote process was made simple and was very detailed right down to the lifetime saving benefits outlined in the quote. They even took care of all the hard paperwork with the energy provider, and the installation team were punctual, professional and friendly. Could not be happier with the service and quality of our new solar system, and have already had another family member install their system with them since, and have referred another friend whose energy costs will very much benefit once they have their new system installed too. We have been taking about getting solar for years. 3 years ago we were more serious about it however it was all too daunting. Everything that others have said about Reece, Hayden, Christine and Total Solar Solutions is 100% true and accurate. From the quoting, to the assistance with the SolarVIC applications to the install (turning up within 1 min of the promised time). What impressed me above the installation quality which to my untrained eye is first class is the fact that we had three primary school aged kids at home (COVID19) and at one stage 8 TSS guys working on the house and not ONCE did we hear objectionable language or objectionable music. This firm is a group of true professionals and can not be recommended highly enough. I think they are more expensive than others however given they have been in business for 8+ years it is clear that they are here for the long term and not chasing government grant initiatives. We had a 9KW LG and SolarEdge system installed by these guys about 2 years ago, couldn't be happier with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. They are a quality installer IMHO, the only negative is they are a bit pricey, but in this case at least you get what you pay for.. If we ever needed a solar install again in the future I would use them again without hesitation.

I absolutely recommend Total Solar Solutions! I had signed up with another solar installer who required an on-the-spot signature before having any chance to do some homework. I called up Total Solar Solutions for a price check on a quality LG solar system to compare. Best move ever! Better price, better quality panels, longer warranty, local support, and quality service. I cancelled my other contract immediately. Reece, Christine, and the team were excellent. The whole process was clear, and every question was answered. Their install team arrived on time and worked like pro’s. Everything was properly installed, sealed, checked, inspected, and labelled. Any rubbish was collected and taken away. The install was a few months ago now and the solar system is working great. I also had Total Solar install an efficient reverse cycle air-con. The solar generated covers the heating on cold days (saving on gas bills) and still feeds extra to the grid for credit at the same time. Absolutely brilliant!

So good was the service we experienced when arranging the installation of a solar system for my sister-in-law, we had no hesitation in choosing Total Solar Solutions when it was time to upgrade our system. Whole experience from quote to installation was professional, seamless and friendly. All the team were helpful and patient in guiding me through the complex Vic Government rebate process, encouraging me to stick with it when my frustration nearly got the better of me. Love our new system and solar edge monitoring capability. I whole-heartedly recommend this company for solar or any other electrical work (they replaced switchboard and installed air conditioner at my sister-in-law’s place). The team from Total Solar Solutions arrived at our residence at the exact time they said they would this morning. Six young tradies who all introduced themselves and shook my hand – something you don’t see much of these days. They got straight into the job and were finished in a few hours. Very professional, knew what they were doing, worked as an experienced team, no short-cuts, great installation, very clean and neat work, and answered all my questions and explained to me how everything worked. Also l love the Fronius live-web monitoring of power generation and usage.

In a market full of "hard to understand sales people" offering me incredible deals on cheap systems with very poor quality components and questionable installs, its good to see a great AUS company stand out from the crowd. From the initial contact and the wealth of information provided, to a team of installers that arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and took the time to show me the work they'd done (pride these guys have)! The team and Total Solar Solutions Australia were outstanding. My thanks and compliments to the entire team but especially Sarah as without here I would have purchased one of the "TV / Telemarketing systems" that I've since learned the only good thing about them is the price, well that is until you have to pay for the fix!! You get what you pay for and remember cheap is never good and good is never cheap

I highly recommend Total Solar Solutions to anyone looking for a solar system installation. Right from my initial web query for a quote, TSS were nothing but totally professional. They responded to all my e-mails quickly and provided heaps of up-to-date and relevant information. When Daniel come over for a more detailed quote, he spend two hours with my sister-in-law and I. He answered all my sister-in-law’s questions (who knew very little about solar) with patience and precision. He did not oversell us on anything and removed items that were not going to be useful to my sister-in-law. The installers arrived at exactly the time promised and were friendly, efficient and, just like Daniel, answered all our questions patiently and in easy to understand language. Not only did they install our solar system, they upgraded our fusebox and installed an air-conditioner. They even installed an additional power point free of charge. In summary, amazing service, attention to detail and quality products - what more could you ask for? I can’t recommend TSS highly enough. A shame there is not a sixth star. We had our solar panels installed in December 2018. From our first contact with Daniel to the installation with the guys and Reece we could not be happier. Daniel Made sure we understood everything he was explaining to us over a cuppa, and later any questions we emailed him were answered very promptly. The guys who installed the panels were fantastic, they are a credit to the company, they even replaced some cracked tiles that they found for us, they were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Reece the owner, came out and checked their work while the panels were being installed to make sure everything was to his high standed. I am doing a follow up review based on almost a full year. Was absolutely thrilled with our initial installation as our home faces some awful aspects and getting something to work for us was always a challenge. We set Daniel a brief of what we wanted and let them go to work. Well we now have a power bill of $94 for the past quarter compared to over $900 for the same time a year ago. Not only that the full year statistics on the SOLAR EDGE system show that Daniel, Reece and co did EXACTLY what they said they would do. Our generation over a year is equal or slightly more than the total consumption. Next stop is a battery. Can you guess the only company we would trust to supply and install it???

We first contacted Total Solar Solutions after some research on latest Solar Panels. Having installed our first system some 8 years ago. It was refreshing to get quick and professional quote back from Daniel. We are very pleased with the way the install was carried out cleanly with attention to detail, the team was pleasure to work with. The use of the Solar Edge monitoring helps to see our energy usage and will assist with choices on appliances and usage, not to mention upgrade path to future battery storage if necessary. We installed in September 2018 and one of our family just installed as well. Highly recommended worth contacting!

This company actually does what it says it will do and was prepared to treat us respectfully and respond to all questions both prior to an on the day of installation. Reece and his team are probably the best trades team to work at our house. They respected our property, (including the garden), were extremely polite, went about their work efficiently and neatly and cleaned up on completion. There are cheaper systems available, but we were happy for the quality, service and peace of mind we received.

From first contact with Daniel and staff at Total Solar , I was blown away by their good service! I needed my panels installed in a hurry as off to VCAT fighting overshadowing development and they installed before the hearing! Installation was excellent, every person from admin to the blokes on site were a credit to the company - I now know why they have so many good reviews. They were the only Solar Company that went to the trouble of examining my site and designing a system to cope with shading issues! Highly recommend them for quality, value and friendly service which is better than virtually every other company I've dealt with! Clive Cooper.

I give Total Solar 5 stars. Here is why I could not be happier. Our home is not the easiest place to install into and onto and they were able to design a system that hit the nail on the head for us, and they did not complain once. Their team came right on the time they said they would (2 days in a row) and they were some of the most polite, competent and hard workers I have seen. Clean up after themselves? Hire A Hubby could not have done a better or more thorough job. The system they installed is belting out a decent current too!!! But to the more serious - from first contact to final installation they have been great. And trustworthy and honest, Daniel came around several times and always returned emails and texts and calls immediately. He is very knowledgeable and organised and can produce the proof. Think about that one. It helped we had a few others there before him and were able to compare lets say "some of the differences in systems and hardware" I could have gone for a cheaper and more generic system. They look attractive on this big ads don't they? But I would not have had any confidence in that. For good reasons. Total Solar Solutions provided the best, custom installation to our needs, well priced system, sold and delivered by professionals who actually knew their subject matter backwards, kept their word, turned up on time, had a great attitude and work ethic and left the house spotless. Follow up by Reece and Jeremy has been great.

Enthusiastic, knowledgable and helpful when describing what was on offer and quoting. Fitted us in as early as possible in their schedule. Did excellent work in testing conditions (steep wet roof), cleaned up well. They were flexible to our suggestions (and adopted most) about locating the Inverter and where cables could be run. They took care of all the paperwork and other admin (except where privacy laws applied - and they guided us through them). They also provided phone support for an Inverter setting change. The installation possibly could have been a bit cheaper (but not significantly so), but overall extremely satisfied.

I bought an EnPhase micro inverter system with QC 280W panels early October. The sales person (Daniel) is very enthusiastic, helpful and was upfront about the cost and quality of their products. Sure they are not the cheapest in town, but from what I have seen, the quality of the installation and products justifies the cost. The installers took their time and all was done in a very professional manner. You can see that the staff love their work an I never heard a swear word the whole 11/2 day. Reece you have a great team. It is still early days but the system produces plenty of power. The big advantage is that thanks to the micro inverters we could split the panels into different directions. I can really recommend this company.

Total Solar Solutions (TSL) provided excellent service from the initial discussion with the sales rep through to installation of our solar power unit. Following my initial research into both solar power and local installers (Melb), I obtained a number of quotes for a 5KW system. I engaged TSL to undertake the installation as I was impressed with Daniel's (sales rep) knowledge, his patience in answering my questions and most importantly the quality of the system they recommended (LG panels & Fronius inverter). On the day of the installation, Reece and his team worked tirelessly to install the system through inclement weather. Though TSL were not the cheapest (cost approx $9,000), I was impressed with the quality of the system, their professionalism and commitment to having the system installed and up and running on the scheduled day. Based on my experience, I would recommend TSL if you are considering the installation of solar power.

Excellent service from start to finish! After doing our research and getting a few quotes, we had to go back to Total Solar for a number of reasons: Daniel was very patient with our queries and discussed every technical aspect in a way that anyone can easily understand not to mention that he was very passionate about what he was sharing with us (and he had all the data to back up his claims!). They carefully assess your needs and make their recommendation (not the cheapest but let's just say it's like paying for your peace of mind). Reece also made sure installation was seamless from start to finish by personally supervising the guys who were themselves very professional and so are the office staff. We're really happy with the installation and the monitoring on our phones is just awesome! Already starting to recommend them to family and friends!

Good explanation of why they believe it is better to pay slightly more upfront to get a long term investment with maximized returns. Daniel went to great lengths to provide a good solar solution for our property and presented good analysis of what he proposed against our needs. After much research, we decided on this company, not because they were the cheapest, but because they offered what we wanted with the comfort of a logically calculated price, knowledgeable installers and friendly staff. The system recommended and purchased gave us the most confidence that it could achieve what we needed. Installers were friendly, polite and neat and tidy. We recently installed a 30KW Grid connected solar power system, Our main aim was to fit the biggest system we could on our tight roof space due to very high daily consumption. It was a tricky and tight area to work with but total Solar Solutions made the whole process easy and stress-free. From the original on site visit to design and then commission they were very professional and genuine. We wanted a quality system that would perform well we went with their recommendations installing 96 x LG 315Watt Neon 2 Panels paired with 2 x Fronius Symo 15KW inverters with full online consumption monitoring. We would defiantly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for everything.

I contacted Reece last week and he quoted on the phone for a replacement inverter. I offered to pay a deposit but Reece insisted it was not required. After a few days I was contacted by Reece for the installation and he kept his promise that the install would be this week and it was. We just bought a property in Kilsyth, we chose Total solar solutions because they had better quality products (lg panels sma inverter) than a lot of others on the market, which means better power savings and more reliability for us. They made it such an easy process, from an on site visit to arranging the pre approval and finalising all the paperwork on day of install and within 2 weeks we had our 8kw system on our garage roof. They were so friendly and reliable I would highly recommend them to any1. We have already got our 1st bill and can see the savings already. They told us when to use our power to save us even more. We also got them back to do our Air conditioning.

We recently installed 4KW SMA inverter with 16xTrina Panels and 5KW LG Air Con. After having done intensive research and pricing, I have decided to go with Total Solar solutions and I am glad I did - compare to bigger companies, you get much better value - Total Solar solutions $2000 cheaper than most of the big companies. We create approximately massive 16KW energy in a good sunny day ( by the way we live in shady part of Ferntree Gully) and LG air con is quite as a mouse. Also just wanted to say Reece's staff are a great team - really nice and helpful and considerate specially kiwi Ryan. He obviously know how to recruit! I am extremely happy with my products. I had a 5kw solar system installed and an air con, for the bedroom. All finishes were fantastic, and done so neatly. No mess left behind and even got an extra bit of work done, which they were happy to do. All the staff were friendly and good workers.

Reece and crew just installed an SMA 5KW inverter with 19 LG 260W panels. They've installed split systems for us in the past and just recently. As usual: highly professional, friendly, quick, efficient and tidy. I'll won't use anyone else.

2x LG air conditioning units were installed to our home. Both the service and installation were second to none! Reece and Kieren were delightful, efficient and both provided us with an outstanding service. They even cleaned up everything prior to leaving, something many readies don't do these days! We had to call them out for a second job also, not only did Reece remember us from a few months earlier, but he came out the very next day to fix an issue with our switchboard, no doubt we have found our permanent sparkies if we ever have an issue (or want to get solar installed).
