Our real estate agent recommended Peter from Inspector Group. The agent said that he's the best in the business and he was right. The inspector found multiple structural and non structural defects within the house which will be now repaired by the vendors. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. The report was very thorough with photos and easy to understand.

Very satisfied with the service I've received. Peter from Inspector Group came out to inspect our new property in Joondalup last month and provided a great report with some structural issues which have been rectified by the vendors. He even came out to reinspect the property during our final pre-settlement inspection today. He's such a great, honest and reliable person. Will recommend him to all my friends and family if needed.

I decided to go with Inspector Group for my pre purchase inspection based on their positive online reviews & their responsiveness. I was not disappointed. They have sent out Peter who inspected my property. He is the person to call for your inspection. He even offered me joining him during his inspection and I was highly impressed on which level he works. He takes no shortcuts!!! I hope everyone discovers Peter in time to have him do your building inspection. He stands apart from most if not all other inspectors I have used in the past.

I am very happy with the service Peter provided & he has saved us thousands of dollars :) He found some major issues that the seller now has to fix before the settlement takes place. His report was extensive and detailed and he referenced the REWIA code throughout. Peter was readily available on the phone afterwards to explain the report in simple terms to me and has offered to re-inspect the property once the work has been carried out by the seller. I would reccomend him to any of my family or friends in the future. I purchsed the combined building and pest inspection for total cost of $549.

5 stars is not enough for how I felt about our building inspection with Inspector Group! I asked for Peter because he had excellent reviews and an engineering background. Peter was amazing on all levels! He was personable, thorough, knowledgeable (Knew everything about everything in the house), and answered all of our probably stupid questions. Pricing is fair on the inspection, and you are guaranteed to get your money's worth!

Far and away the best building inspection service I could have asked for!! I am a first time home buyer, and unfortunately, I know nothing about what to look for in a home when it comes to structural problems. There was a multitude of serious problems with the 10 years old house that I would not have known without Peters caring and detailed approach. I ended up not purchasing this home thanks to his fine work and attention to detail. This is a person who truly seems to enjoy what he does and really does care about his clients best interest. I will ABSOLUTELY, without a doubt, be using his services for every future purchase I make.

Great service and we ended up saving thousands of dollars. The inspector found several serious issues (structural and non structural problems) which gave us the power to negotiate. I definitely would use this company again. BTW. Peter form inspector group was our inspector.

I have used inspector Group for my house inspection. I cannot be happier as they found many major problems with the house and we had the option to pull out of the contract what we did at the end. Not quite sure how much it would have been cost to repair all those problems but it seemed a lot. The house was only 7 years old and looked good for an inexperienced person but had already so many structural problems. The real estate agent was surprised that the building was unsound according to the report. Not sure if other building inspectors could have identified these issues but Peter, the inspector always referred to the Australian Standards, proofed and explained every single problem. He did an incredible job for us. We will use him again for our next house. 5 Stars!

I am a real estate agent for more than 20 years and know most of the building inspectors around Perth. I’ve met Peter Hopfinger several times and know how thorough he is. Most of the inspectors running through the inspection process within 30 min, more concentrated on their report writing devise as on the property itself. Peter will leave no stone unturned and climbs into the roof space in his search for any problems. Most inspectors won’t climb into it!!! We just bought a new property and asked him to do an inspection for us. He did again an outstanding and detailed report and is certainly the best inspector I've seen in the business so far. German thoroughness! In short, you cannot go wrong with his level of service and professionalism. 100% sure will recommend him to all my client’s. He’s the best with no doubts. Stop looking, this is your guy! Peter is the man!!! You won't regret it!

5 stars all the way and as others mentioned before: Best company in Perth. I was referred to this business by our Broker who said that even he would not go for someone else for his inspection as Inspector Group. Peter the inspector has proven to be very thorough, professional, and accurate. He found many structural problems and live termites in the roof. All problems have been fixed before we moved in. Never did we feel he was rushing. He made sure to explain everything in details, so that we could have a full understanding of what was going on. I would definitely recommend Peter to friends and family.

I called Inspector Group to do a pre-inspection of a house before I bought it. I asked for Peter as he has very good reviews and he was also highly recommended by my settlement agent. He seemed very thorough and Peter walked me through the whole process. Peter was on time, really prompt, the whole experience was at least as good if not above what I expected it to be. His conclusions were accurate, I haven't had any issues with the house that hadn't already been brought up in the inspection. We could use his report to negotiate with the sellers which was a plus for us. Overall we saved close to $15.000 The price was overpriced comparing to other companies but definitely worth it after all. I'm happy with the experience and yes, I would use him again. Good service & accurate report. Peter the inspector was very knowledgeable and incredibly thorough. He knows the Australian Standards probably better as anyone else. Our Real estate Agent handed over the last Practical Completion inspection report done by the sellers and all was fine according to the report. However, for our own piece of mind, we booked the inspection with Inspector Group. We asked for Peter as recommended by a friend and he turned up for the inspection the next day. The house was build in 2015 and Peter found many serious problems. 1. The metal roof was not tied down as required 2. Roof structure did not comply 3. Bathrooms were leaking 4. Dropping ceiling in the garage 5. Termite barrier has been bridged with pavers For every defect found to my new property, the inspector referred to the Australian Standards. We negotiated with the owner who agreed to fix all of the defects. Can highly recommend this company

Absolutely professional on an extreme level and highly experienced. We purchased a house last week and we chose Inspector Group. Peter Hopfinger is probably the best building inspector in the Perth! He is very detailed and professional. I am a Settlement agent have seen many inspection reports but no inspection report was presented as Peter's reports. This was one of the main reason to choose him for my property. Peter is my first choice when recommending a building inspector. Overall, we had the option to negotiate as there were many significant defects or to pull out of the contract. The quality of the report the inspector provided within the same day was excellent and very easy to read. He took care of every detail of the house. Also, if you have follow up questions you can call the inspector any time and he will answer your questions. Highly recommended!

Second Inspection with this Company! Best Company in Perth. They did a hand over inspection for us and they have found many major and also smaller issues. The inspection itself took only 1 hour but I'm still impressed what they found within that hour. Non compliance roof structure, roof plumbing problems and even electrical issues. I thought this would be a choke when the inspector said it will take approx. 1 hour to do the inspection before he even started but he has disproved it and did a great job. Highly recommend those guys

I strongly recommend "inspector Group" I spent fair amount of time looking for a good and trustworthy building inspection company. Due to the nature of my job, I am very involved in inspection activities but in another industrial field (other than building), so I searched for a professional inspection company with a high quality and efficient outcome. As the main outcome of the inspection is the “inspection findings” presented in “inspection report”, I reviewed many inspection reports from various companies and finally decided to proceed with “Inspector Group”, a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection plus pest inspection. Time was booked and Peter did the job. Unfortunately the owner did not let me accompany Peter during the inspection! The result: Peter picked up three main structural and safety non-compliances in the building and few more maintenance ones. The structural one could have easily been overlooked by many inspectors I believe, but Peter picked it up and reported. The owner accepted to rectify the major ones and Peter will be doing the re-inspection soon. I strongly recommend them for pre-purchase home inspections.

WOW. What a Service. We had a Handover Inspection for our new house in January. For our piece of mind we thought to book a building inspection with these guys. I did not expect such a report! The very detailed report came back and said: The building is not structurally sound. The colorbond roof was not screwed down and the roof timber did not comply with the standards. They had to remove the roof sheets to rebuilt some of the roof structure. There was even a missing structural beam in the roof and one building corner in the garage needed underpinning. The repairs took 2 weeks and now Peter came back to reinspect the repairs and gave the O.K. I cannot thank you enough Peter for doing such an inspection for us. Would not go for someone else.

Previously when buying a house I tried a cheaper inspector and got burned; they just didn't look. This time I chose Inspector Group due to their good reviews. Peter at Inspector Group checked everything. Found a structural defect and termite damage. These are to be repaired by the sellers, not us. The cost of the repairs were more than the cost of Peter's inspection; so this inspection saved us money. Additionally, a range of non-defect issues (mostly maintenance) were highlighted in the report; a useful maintenance guide for later. Thoroughly recommended.

THIS COMPANY IS DEFINITELY THE BEST IN PERTH! They know the Australian Standards! Had two other companies in the past but not worth it. My expectations were high when I hired Inspector Group and was not disappointed when I received the report. They found many problems to my new property even though it is a new house. Will use them again for my other investment properties. Absolutely satisfied!

Inspector Group is the only building inspector I would ever use for a Perth property. Their inspectors go above and beyond what others do, finding details no other inspector has before in the years we have owned houses. They know their building codes and work to an extremely high standard, and are also well priced, friendly, professional and punctual. I strongly recommend using them above any other agency! I wouldn't use any other.

From start to finish the Inspector Group exceeded our expectations. Peter and his team arranged the inspection immediately after I made the booking and provided a thorough report on the same day of the inspection. Peter also made himself available to discuss the report in detail and answered the many questions I had in the nicest possible manner. Most impressive of all was Peter's willingness to perform a follow up inspection in his own time to make sure that the seller had rectified the defects he had identified. Just received their report and have to say " superp" Awesome guys and very thorough. Our settlement agent recommended this company and said: These guys are the best. Truly they are. Highly recommended. They found some termite damaged timber in the roof and a wall has been removed which was supposed to be a load bearing one. My other Inspector 2 years ago did not go into the roof space. When I asked these guys they said that there are always checking the roof if possible. And they did!!!. Great Inspector. My expectations have been exceeded.

Inspector Group is the company to call! The real estate agent provided us a inspection report from another company which was conducted in 2013.And the fact that the house was only 5 years old, he said we don't need another inspection. But for our piece of mind we ordered Inspector Group. They were highly recommended by a friend. I called the day before I needed their service. Although they had some tight scheduling, they accommodated my needs by moving some things around. At the end some major structural defects were found to the roof.The inspector found some major roof structure deflections due to unusual combination of light metal trusses, with clay tiles as cover. It turned out that the roof covering was to heavy for this kind of roof structure. Not sure but at the end we probably saved A$25.000 - 30.000. The owner did not agree to fix it and the house ins now back on the market. Given the premium price of his work, I had very high expectations of Inspector Groups work, and I'm happy to say those expectations have been exceeded. We will use them for our next project again. Great work.

We had Peter from www.Inspectorgroup.com.au do a pre-inspection of our new home and he did an amazing job finding issues my real estate agent and I totally missed. He is extremely competent in his work, knows everything about houses and how to fix them, and is very generous in providing clarification. Unlike other companies, he provides verification of leaks using a thermal imager at no additional cost. He goes above and beyond the services of a Building Inspector. I will recommend him to everyone I know without hesitation. 5 Star Service and brilliant report

BEST INSPECTORS and BEST SERVICE ever! In comparison, our building inspector last year was in and out so fast and only had a few things to say to us. No inspection tools ect. We really appreciated Inspectorgroup (Peter) after seeing the vast difference w/the other guys. Seriously, you want excellent and personable service, it doesn't get any better with their Inspection Service. I was told by numerous people that the inspection is generally overpriced and a waste of time to use any Inspector. I'm happy to say that Peter from Inspectorgroup is the only inspector disproved both of those statements. In terms of quality, Peter (the German guy with his nice accent) is extremely knowledgeable and took his time to complete a very through assessment - his final report (he sends you a PDF) was quite detailed with pictures of my new property throughout. He also pointed out a number watchouts and tips informally to me during the walk through. Well done

These guys are very good. I had several building inspectors in the past for other property's and was always disappointment. Our settlement agent recommended this company and they did a great job. My new purchased house is only 5 years old and they found several major structural defects within the building. The Seller has a 6 year warranty and they now will ask the builder to repair all these defects. As to be honest I didn't expect anything because it's a new house and the sellers were surprised too when they received the report. They thought that their property will pass the structural inspection. Happy end for us.

They did a very thorough inspection for my new house. There were no bigger issues but the presented themselves very professional. There were some cracks in walls and I was worried about these cracks. The inspector could explain every crack and other issue in detail. The guy who did the inspection was Peter. Ask for him if you want to have an inspection done. Thanks Peter Well done.

Great Service and excellent report from Inspector Group. Couldn't belief what they found. For me the fully renovated house looked perfect at first but it turned out that they were major issues with the roof structure. At the end I've saved more than $7.000. The previous owner fixed the termite damaged roof structure straight away. The eyes of an experienced inspector. :) I would definitely hire these guys again. Very satisfied Cheers
