Obviously as I'm not a superhero or crime fighting vigilante (I say obviously, but then again I'm not going to admit to this even if I was) I don't usually wear costumes and was a bit "???" about the whole thing - I was told that wearing one was mandatory for an upcoming party. I couldn't have chosen a better place to go. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly throughout. Great costume and even a very reasonable fee for it to be couriered back to the shop (which helped after a big hangover). Not every hero wears a cape but if you want a cape (and the rest of the get-up) this is the place to go!

There is an extensive range of beautiful, flattering costumes to choose from, and they come with great accessories. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting options, and have a great sense of fun that contributed to the enjoyment of preparing for my event. The hire cost was good value and the whole process was so easy. I have used Fancy That before and would happily use them again for the next dress-up event.

We were attending a 60s-70s themed party & went as Abba. Aliki was fantastic with providing us with options to cater for individual comfort whilst still being true to the theme. Added the accessories, got the wigs ready etc... We really couldn't have asked for more! Very happy set of customers.

The customer service is outstanding here - we dealt with 5 different staff members over our 3 visits and each person a credit to the business. In particular the English lady (Aliki) and Stephanie. Really went out of their way to assist us in finding the perfect costumes for our '60's theme night. The costumes, wigs and accessories are top quality too. You will not be disappointed.

The sublime supportive service received by the management and staff at Fancy That Costumes coupled with the amazing array of costumes available, made for a truly wonderful experience! Besides their endless online range, the best thing these ladies offer is customized outfits from the endless wardrobe. I have used this place twice for end of year Xmas parties and never been disappointed. And the ladies are pretty awesome at their job as well. You can tell they enjoy their job.

I had my work Christmas X Mas Party, theme being "Pirates" on Dec 17, 2015. I'm not keen on part of any dress up but I thought giving myself a try. The store had wide array of clothes of pirate themes, the service was top notch, and clothes fitted me perfectly. I now love dress up party and can't wait for next dress up event in 2016.

I was able to call and pick up a Gorilla costume the same day for an end of year themed Xmas party. The costume was clean, looked very real, and scared a few of my colleagues at the party. Location, ease of hiring and returning process was a breeze, and staff at Crows Nest were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend Fancy That! Costumes for your next event/party.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the wonderful Bel and her awesome team at Fancy That. Bel has dressed me up for a number of occasions over the years to bring my inner Glam Rock God, Sid Vicious, Elvis, etc, to life. Bel and her team are never anything less than fun, friendly, creative and, most importantly, patient. Nothing is ever a problem for them. I just don't even think about going anywhere else. In fact, now when I think fancy dress, I immediately think Fancy That!

Fancy That! is the ultimate costume shop - having been through their entire range to find a costume for a party that had "no limits" I can easily say they have something for everyone! (and the Despicable Me costume was for me!). The tablets on the desk make the whole experience seamless in terms of searching for the right costume and not only that but the staff are super friendly and incredibly helpful/knowledgeable and will remember you each time you come in! Definitely a 10/10 experience!

Fancy That have kitted me out in fancy dress costumes several times. They have a treasure trove of costumes that are displayed on touchpads so that you can quickly flick through and check out your options or get ideas. The staff are really enthusiastic and helpful, if you brief them on your event, they will come up with ideas and solutions that you would never have thought of. Finally I love that they always seem to be creating and updating costumes.....it's always a fun experience.

Compared to other fancy dress shops - the quality of the costumes in Fancy That is brilliant. Great fabrics, always clean and very robust. I love the easy way the book of costumes is laid out to choose from, and the assistants are very knowledgable about their stock and options. I've used their stuff a few times and they bend over backwards to help you. (apparently the owner used to be a gymnast, so that's probably why).

Scored some last minute tix to a Halloween event last year and was desperate for something to wear to it. Ok confession, although I pretty much always have a good time at dress-up parties I'm not a fan of the process of hunting down a costume and stressing about which one to choose. The gang at Fancy That! made everything super easy, totally vibed me up for the show with their enthusiasm and even better, I was knocked out at the cost - bargain! I am a performer by trade and often need to make last minute costume dashes. The staff are ridiculously helpful, the costumes are great and if they don't have what I'm needing, they'll do their best to source it for me. I particularly love the accessories. The wigs and coloured contacts are awesome.

My best friends birthday party was fast approaching and the theme was 'Rock Stars'. I had no idea who to go as or where to start. As I work in Crows Nest I needed somewhere I could run in and out within my lunch hour and get an amazing fancy dress costume. Fancy That! Costumes didn't disappoint. Belinda and her team were amazing help, with honest, professional advice from the get go. The cost was very good as well considering the quality of the outfit. The party was amazing, I went as Freddy Mercury and won best dressed! I would definitely recommend Fancy That! Costumes to anyone!
