Mark was truly amazing! If we could give him 10 stars, we would! He was in regular contact prior to our event, catered to all music styles and certainly had the crowd up and about. Also a great MC which was engaging for our guests. Will definitely have him again for our next function.

Mark and Mitchell were both amazing. Excellent communication and support and lots of help navigating the wedding and the big day. The music was awesome and the reception went off! Hard to achieve with such a small.group and lots of.guests clearing out but they kept it pumping and we had such a great time dancing until midnight! Mark was amazing running around intervening, managing guests and keeping us informed and entertained. Highly recommend!

Mark was more than just a Dj. He new how to read the crowd and was very interactive. He had the dance floor going all night and he was also having fun. Need no more to say, I don’t need to look for another dj for any of my events. From birthday party to wedding mark is what you need.

These guys made our night. Mark managed to accommodate us only 2 weeks out from our party after our friend, who was going to DJ for us, fell sick. Mark had everybody up dancing the whole evening. Really knows how to read and work a crowd. So impressed, and so happy with our choice :)

Mark was absolutely amazing from the first time we booked him in, through 3 postponements and on our wedding day. He went above and beyond to make contact with us on a regular basis to check in, to offer his support and to help out with anything we needed. Mark was at the church helping myself and my bridal party into the church on the day, he mingled with all guests, took photos and videos and made sure everything ran smoothly. He made the most beautiful toast to us, sent us a morning message and asked the guests to describe us in one word. I couldn’t recommend Mark enough as MC. Thank you Mark!

Mark was AMAZING !!! He did MC/DJ/event organizer for our wedding. Every time I spoke to Mark he made me feel relaxed and super organized. Communication was excellent and he really cares about his clients. The music on the night was EXCELLENT! The dance floor was always full with a great range of current and old classic songs. It was so well presented and the choice of music and getting the guests up and involved in the night was so well done. The day started so well with the wedding ceremony and it continued to get better after all nerves were settled after the ceremony and the party began. Absolutely in awe of the service provided by Mark and Mitch. The lead up to our wedding was incredibly stressful with so many glitches and stuff ups and cancellations. They were there every step of the way, putting the pieces back together and made our wedding an amazing event that everyone is still complimenting us about! It was such an amazing night! Mark was our Dj/Mc for our wedding, I could not believe how easy he made our day. Mark went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and that all of our needs were met. He was basically the whole day coordinator, he went and visited my husband the morning of to make sure he was going ok and helped all the boys with there wedding pins, he came to see us girls to make sure our morning/Arvo was going smoothly. The night was just amazing and mark played a massive part in making it that way.

Definitely recommend Mj's mobile music machine. Not only do they have great music and will down load your own play list, They make sure you're having a great time, Mark walks around taking photos and sends them to you. You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on a photographer. He took 197 photos for me and they are fantastic!! The cost is great and service is even better!!

Mark was such a hit for our engagement party, that he was a must for our wedding. Little recommendations such as a song request on the invite meant that family and friends felt as if they had a part in the planning of the wedding. This also encouraged people to get up and dance, making the night so much more special. His ability to work alongside an acoustic act was phenomenal, with many people unable to tell when the two switched sets. The acoustic act even said that he has never been so organised and learnt a heap of Mark. Mark and his son Mitchell were amazing, and parts such as our first dance ran perfectly, with the mashup between the Mark and the acoustic act seamless. Many comments have been made on Mark and Mitchell's skills in regards to Djing. Have and will continue to recommend Retro DJ event Entertainment to all that I know. Highly, Highly deserving winner, that would recognise Mark's dedication and experience over many, many years. AS MC Mark went above and beyond in regards to his role as the Master of Ceremonies for our wedding. His ability to fit in with the family and friends is remarkable. People thought that Mark was a family friend, due to his impeccable attitude, communication, friendliness and personality amongst other traits. He was not only the master of ceremonies, but without being asked, did more in regards to organising the reception and ceremony then the wedding planner from the venue. Mark did the little things that often go unnoticed, like ensuring there was a carpark for the wedding cars, making sure the two of us ate and solved problems we did not even know occured or prevented them from occuring. The night was a huge success, with people still talking about how smooth it ran, how entertaining it was and Mark's ability to get the crowd involved. He will go more than the extra mile for the couple getting married. I would ONLY recommend Retro DJ Event Entertainment to those looking for both of his services. I am already looking for another excuse for a party to have Mark involved, such was his impact on our Special day. Highly deserving winner.

We booked Mark for our wedding at The All Seasons in Bendigo on the 29/10/16. We spoke to Mark about his services prior to booking him & he was very receptive on any questions we had. Once booked, he contacted us on numerous occasions prior to the wedding day about our choice of music & how the night should flow from The Entrance, Speeches, Meals, Wedding Dance, etc. He listened to everything we had to say & was happy to accept our choices. He did make suggestions on how to improve things but he was never pushy & we respected him for that. When our Wedding day arrived, Mark was set-up with very professional equipment & did everything he said he would do & much, much more. He kept the music building all night & kept everyone on the dance floor. All our guests commented on much they enjoyed the music & he took many requests to keep our guests happy. Mark had help from his son Mitchell who was also very professional. They welcomed guests & spoke to everyone in a friendly manner, they took lots of photos as an added extra & Mark has informed us he would put them on a USB for us & posted some photos on Facebook. We would highly recommend MJ's Mobile Music Machine to anyone needing a DJ for any event. Thanks Mark & Mitchell

We thought we were hiring a DJ for our wedding, and we got a complete entertainment and multi-media package! Mark came round to our house to discuss music options but when he heard about the theme of our wedding, he started exploring how he could integrate into the theme. Mark and Mitchell hired special costumes and bought some extra props - all at their own expense - and this raised the day to another level. He also filmed video, took pictures and gave a camera on a selfie stick for guests to pass around.. Within days we had so much content that we could share with our guests while everyone was still buzzing from the event. Music was of course core to the service. I know he invested hours before the day planning the playlist, and giving us helpful advice about what to avoid and how to make the most of the limited time everyone had together on the day. Thank you Mark!

The music was exactly what we had requested, plus more , as Mark judged the audience and played requests as well as music that involved crowd participation. He even dressed up in the Swing theme. Everyone at our 50th thought that Mark was our guest as he went around taking photos and videos, and chatting to everyone, as well as keeping the fabulous music going. Everyone had so much fun. I heard about mark from family. I was a little sceptical to start with when they were raving about how good he is, when I saw evidence of some of his work I immediately considered him first for mine and my wifes wedding which turned out to be the best thing I could have done, Mark went above and beyond the call of duty as an MC and DJ playing all the music to suit the entire crowd (which by the way was of varying ages) and hosted the entire function flawlessly. I would highly recommend Mark as anyones first choice because if it wasn't for him our wedding wouldn't have been a successful night. Both myself and Megan thank you from the deepest reaches of the very bottom of our heart for a fantastic and wonderful night and any get togethers we have in the future will definitely include and your family. mark (the dj) played everyones favourite songs and also played people requests and he did the pest remixes

Was DJ for my wedding and he was awesome. Had the dance floor full the whole night. Great range of music and was happy to find certain tracks I requested he may not have had. Would definitely recommend to anyone

I went to my friends wedding and she was using this MJ's Mobile Music Machine & Retro DJ's. I must say Mark was funny yet professional, organised and played a bit of everything for everyone. He was willing and able to take song requests from the guests, and not once did I see him turn down any of those requests. I would defiantly recommend this DJ to any of my friends who are in need of an amazing DJ next time!

He was at a friends wedding, thought he was fantastic! Got everyone dancing and played great music and had a good variety. Would definitely recommend!
