Fixed the Fuel pump for my statesman, very reasonable price and excellent service. He was a true gentleman, I was in South Melbourne, and he called me and told me it was fixed while I was on the train before I even got home. Will definitely use them again. 100% happy with service, car was leaking diesel, John came within half an hour of phone call and fixed the problem within 10 minutes. Didn't overcharge and was a pleasure to deal with. 100 % recommend John from betta mobile mechanics. My car was making a weird noise for awhile and then the engine light came on so I thought I better call him out to have look within 5mins he knew exactly what was wrong and was able to fix it at my house a few days later. He also lets you know everything he is doing and explains everything so that you understand. Thanks John ! My car is running better then ever

John was recommended to me by a friend when my dog ate through my drivers side seatbelt and I was unable to drive anywhere. I am very glad that I took my friend's advice! Apart from the fact that John is friendly, easy going and put up with my crazy dog, he was also very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing as he was doing it - in an educative way rather than condescendingly as some mechanics might. He was also perfectly willing to acknowledge when he didn't have the solution, which in my case meant not being able to diagnose and fix a wiring issue. He immediately organised to take my car to an auto electrician who was able to fix it straight away, and John then explained to me what the issue had been. His prices are fixed and reasonable, especially considering I didn't have to leave my own home. I have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone, and am very happy to have found such a great mechanic that I am confident will be able to assist me whenever and however my car needs.

John was fantastic to deal with, coming out straight away to my place in Chelsea and providing great service at very reasonable rates. My SUV had a battery that wasn't holding a charge and John shopped around for a good price, delivered and installed and gave my vehicle a quick once over at the same time. Will definitely be using Betta Mobile Mechanics in the future and highly recommend for prompt, professional service.

John has been servicing our cars for about 2 years now. My 1990 work ute was getting sluggish and past due for a service so rang John to come down. All I can say is this man is a magician. After a service and injector clean it runs better then when I bought it 5 years ago. John's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, doesn't cost a arm and a leg and convenient getting your car serviced at home.

John obviously knows his job. He was extremely thorough and explained everything he was going to do and the cost so there were no surprises. He'd even show you the part if necessary. I had an unexpected dental appointment and John was fabulous. He worked on the car up until I had to go and then came back later in the day to finish the job. Fantastic customer service!

I had a problem getting the car started & found John online with good recommendations. He came out the very same day, fixed the problem & didn't charge a callout fee as he was close to me at the time. I was grateful so booked him for a big service which he did, including taking the car to get tyres changed & the price was much cheaper than expected. I have recommended him to friends & will be calling him out for another service soon. Friendly & didn't feel he did anything that wasn't necessary. Definitely recommend his services.

I was in urgent need of a mobile mechanic and John made my job a priority an came out within 24 hours. His customer service was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. Being a woman, it is always a concern that I will be overcharged when it comes to things I am unfamiliar with and not for a moment did I feel that with John. In fact it was the opposite. He is now my go to mechanic and I highly recommend him.

I called Betta Mobile Mechanics on a Friday afternoon after having some issues with my car not starting. The problem fixed itself by the time the mechanic got there, nevertheless, he stayed and checked every little thing, took us for a drive around the block to check the car and even pumped up my flat tires! Highly recommend!

I approached John from Betta Mobile Mechanics based on his consistent 5 star reviews and I couldn't be happier! Even before John accepted the job he tried to help me troubleshoot the problem over the phone and when he diagnosed the issue he promptly arrived and had me on the road in no time at all. John explained the work and pricing to me before beginning and stayed true to his quote, even more so he came back the following day free of charge just to make sure the second hand alternator I purchased from the wreckers was charging correctly! I will surely be recommending Betta Mobile Mechanics as Johns prompt, professional and informative work ethics along with his friendly personality saved my day had me feeling confident and assured that I was in great hands the whole way through. First and last time customer. Asked for a major service which included the parts. Once the job was done, I was charged a minor service in which parts were charged on top which worked out to be about $60 more expensive! It was quite sneaky. Had 2 globes replaced, a fan belt and a sump plug. The mark up on these was about 80%. Rip off. John rang the next day admitting he had overcharged and I received a $25 refund taking it from $925, to $900. The final price should have been around $800 maximum. This is the type of thing which infuriates me about mechanics which is not being honest about pricing. The website clearly shows $535 for a major service. The invoice was manipulated for his benefit of making more money. Will NOT be back!!!!!

Just as everyone else describes. Very helpful, friendly, upfront about costs, and came out to us on a Saturday morning. Did a service, replaced front brake pads (which were making a racket and were completely worn), oil, + others. We also had a funny noise from the engine bay (sounded like a bad belt) but he tidied up the rest of it, suggested we leave it for a short time to check if it improved and it hasn't made a noise since.

We are a young family with a small child so choosing a service that is affordable, efficient and effective is imperative. John was professional, curteous & informative. Our car was way beyond repair, so instead of giving us a long list of repairs with an unnecessary bill, John advised the car wasn't worth repairing & gave some suggestions of which cars would be best for us to buy. We paid a small call out fee. I can't put into words how refreshing it is to be provided with a service from such an honest mechanic. Thanks again John.

Serviced my ML350 and RX350 in a row on 2 days last week. John provided excellent services and quality of repairing/replacing necessary parts. John also did free changing parking bubble this Tuesday as he promised. Comparing to what other dealers quoted, John gives me 100% confidence of knowing what these charged for and real labor time to do so (approx 3hrs each day onsite not incl the time he went out buying some necessary parts). I've recommended John to one of my staff and surely will ask him again when the next services due.

I contacted John to organise a service and work out why my engine light was coming on and car wasn't starting. He arrived on time if not 5 minutes early! He had very good customer service. He was very honest about everything and was up front about pricing. Being young its normal for a mechanic to try and mark everything up and rip you off. In this case definitely not I've never used John before and would recommend him to my friends and family!

At very short notice, I rang Betta Mobile Mechanics to try to start my sons broken down car and rectify what needed to be done. To my delight, John was able to attend same day (2 weeks before xmas) amazing. He diagnosed the problem(s), went to purchase the parts and installed them, wacko the car started. All with John trying to keep the costs down for us. He showed me all the faulty bits and kept me informed all the way throughout. Very happy customer and John will now be my first port of call for future servicing of my own car. I could not recommend this mechanic enough to anyone needing a mobile service. Thanks heaps
