Daniel is the business owner-operator of Northcote Roofing and Plumbing. This means no subcontractors, no chinese whispers down to more junior staff, and no extra fat in the quote to cover costs of other people doing the job that you've never met. He is very efficient, clean and tidy and turns up when he says he will. His manner is polite and friendly. Daniel came to my property on a Saturday to assess my leak at no charge and then fixed it on Australia Day public holiday at a very reasonable fee. Could not be happier. Now just to test his work with some rain! But I have every faith.

Couldn't be better. Gave quote thoroughly and courteously, did job on time, did more than requested, and the job? Well, it is a roof. The problem - flapping in the wind is solved. But the gutters were blocked in two places and I forgot to ask him to clean them out, but he and his mate did. No cost, no problems.

I have had reason to use Northcote Roofing and Plumbing on 2 occasions, and have experienced an excellent service on both. Daniel is responsive, punctual, thorough and very easy to communicate with. I'm not sure if prices are competetive, as the service received from Daniel is of such a high standard, I have not bothered to seek quotes elsewhere. HIGHLY recommended!

Daniel got back promptly to quote,was polite and friendly, turned up on time and did the work as required. He pointed out my down-pipe had rusted because it was installed incorrectly in the first place. Same with elements of my blocked gutter which was prone to overflowing. Re-installed both properly so hopefully will last a lot longer. Not sure of value as my other quotes did not bother to reply! Another reason to hire Daniel.

Daniel arrived within a couple of hours after my initial call. He assessed the problem causing leaking through the roof, and had it fixed after about an hour. He also advised on required tile repairs and other roof maintenance, recommending the correct trade for attending to those jobs. Since Daniel's repairs there have been a number of substantial downpours. His work has passed these tests. Highly recommended.

Daniel is extremely professional. He replaced a large flat roof for me 2 years ago after 25 years of a leaking roof. He was very professional, punctual and explained everything he was doing. Today, after 2 years I had a problem with a roof leak. I emailed Daniel a couple of of hours later he came, assessed the problem and repaired it. All for no charge. Daniel has recently carried out some roofing and spouting works at our home in Thornbury. He was courteous and professional. He undertook the work in compliance with the plumbing standards and regulations. We felt that he charged a fair price for the work undertaken. He even photographed the roofing work so that we could see what he had done. He takes great pride in his work and has the client's interest at heart. We wish there were more trade people like him. Daniel was amazing. I had two previous plumbers come by and one said it was too hard to figure out the problem and another told me spend $2500 to replace half of my roof. Daniel was the only one who took the time to properly assess the issue with a tape measure. It meant that when he explained what he thought the problem was it made sense due to where the leaks were and where the dodgy flashing was located. It made sense and took him just as much time as the other plumbers to identify and fix. He completed the work within 45 minutes and charged me $400. This is after I called about 6 plumbers. 3 returned my phone call and Daniel was the only one who gained my trust. I am so happy is local, a really nice trust worthy guy. I will now use in th future as my new plumber!

Daniel took the trouble to inspect what I thought was a leak from the roof but turned out it was bathroom mildew! Such an honest, reliable, pleasant young 'gentleman'! Daniel is awesome. He turns up on time, is trustworthy and his work quality is fantastic. I had problems with a Box Gutter and two other plumbers did not fix it correctly - Daniel identified the problem quickly and resolved it fully. You need some roof plumbing - he is your man.

Daniel came to look at the job on the day and time he said he would which was a great start! He suggested he could repair the guttering rather than replace it which was great from my point of view. He was able to do it on the spot and did a really thorough job; adding extra brackets & support to the gutter and made sure the fall was improved. He was very friendly and was able to recommend a tradie for another job. Great service.

Two other roof plumbers advised the best way of fixing our noisy down pipe (when it rained, the dripping noise was constant and loud behind our bedroom wall) was to line it with rubber. Daniel—who was punctual to the minute—had other plans; he extended the metal pipe with silencing PVC pipe and directed it away from the wall. Problem solved promptly and professionally. Recommended without hesitation.

Daniel was on time , courteous , it was a very small job that could have turned into a big disaster and most tradies wouldn't bother with it but he turned up twice was done within 15 minutes each time and refused to accept payment for the repairs ! Given the horrid year we have had building a house surrounded by inexperienced, young apprentice plumbers it was such a relief to meet someone reliable , experienced and trustworthy will definitely be calling Daniel again for some other bits and pieces we have to do around the house.

Daniel responded to our leaky ceiling exactly when he said he would. Told my wife he'd send a text message at the end of his day once his schedule for the next day was planned out. He did that and arrived on time as planned. He quickly assessed the issues with our ceiling, explained the problem verbally and with pictures he'd taken whilst on our roof, outlined what the costs would be to fix it should we choose to go ahead and then proceeded to fix it then and there once I'd agreed. Efficient, friendly and prompt service from start to finish. Happy with Daniel's service and more than happy to recommend.

Daniel and his team replaced the whole metal roof of our house, flashing and gutters, as well as carport, This was done extremely efficiently, within four days, including arranging for moving of solar panels. He was always courteous, prompt, professional and informative, and cleaned up thoroughly when finished. Even a minor mishap has been remedied satisfactorily without any issue. I would not hesitate to recommend him or ask him to do further work in the future.

Daniel came to fix our box gutter. Two other builders failed to identify the problem but Daniel picket it out immediately and was able to fix. I then had him install some flashing around the roof line and fix a downpipe (which I added to the work request the morning he was to turn up). He had great follow-up, completed the work with high quality and was reasonably priced. I will be using Daniel for any further plumbing work I need done - no questions.

Daniel fixed a couple of small jobs for us. He shifted a gas pipe inside our carport so that we could install a roller door...he also replaced roof tiles, fixed a leaking roof and relocated mortarin our roof tiling along the ridge of the house. His next job is to replace a couple of downpipes.
