I recommend Hanrob dog stay because my two Pomeranians came home happy, healthy and well groomed. My older thirteen old is very timid but obviously suffered no ill effects. My puppy was full of life on arriving home. Thank you for your kindness and caring. M.c27

As a paw parent, I wish I don't have to write this review. I'm a returning customer in the past 4 years and have been frequently sending Blackie, now 4.5 YO Labrador to Hanrob Pet Hotels Melbourne whenever my hubby and I need help with our fur baby. We're generally happy with Hanrob considering their location, price and service. We're away last week from 25 to 30 April and as usual, we sent Blackie to Hanrob for boarding. We chose the Classic Pet Package, which he was sharing an indoor accommodation with another dog. This is always our go-to option because Blackie is so active, social and love to play. A sharing arrangement is perfect for Blackie. So... He came home last night, was looking traumatised. We calmed him down with food and decided to have a good look at him. What we then found out was SHOCKING - he lost obvious amount of coat around his neck and has scars on his back leg. We believe he was attacked by another dog!! That’s what K9 do - when they attack, they will aim the neck! As a paw parent, I know that my fur baby is the happiest only when he is with us. With boarding service, all I'm hoping for is my dog to be safe and well fed while we're away. In this instance, I question whether Hanrob has done their due diligence and provided reasonable service to (1) pair Blackie with another dog of similar age, size and breed, as well as (2) supervise playtime!!! Giving me a holiday report card stating Blackie loved it there, playful and active just doesn't align with the scars we saw on him!!! I tried to look for a number that I could call so that I can work through my concern with Hanrob. Nope - I found nothing. Obviously this is just a profit number and Hanrob simply cannot care less about feedback and concerns. Please think twice before sending your pet(s) to a big scale dog boarding facility like Hanrob. They simply cannot look after your beloved pet properly - not like they care. Hanrob put a pet-loving staff at the front counter to bring in more business and no one knows what they do behind the sliding doors.

When we go on holiday. We put our border collie boy in Hanrob. We know he’s well cared for because he always returns happy and clean .. he has a wash and groom before they hand him back to us The staff are all so lovely, I would recommend this pet hotel to anyone who is looking for somewhere to house there dog when going away

My Boys Benson and Bundy have stayed twice now at Hanrob now. The staff are amazing i had to make a very unexpected trip. i called at 6pm and they had shut. A member of staff stayed until 7.30 so i could get the boys there and catch my flight to Adelaide. The boys both had been bathed on my return 2 days later looking fresh and clean and had made friends with another 2 small dogs. infact they would have rather stayed for more playtime i think. they get stressed but not when they stay with the team in Melbourne. Thank you Hanrob you really do go beyond not only with your animal care but with the parents of these little creatures...

My cat Oscar has had 2 very positive sleepovers at Hanrob. Oscar is nearly 15 years old and he has chronic renal disease. They look after him extremely well and loves his visits. I am always reassured and never have any stress leaving him for his holiday They have vet nurses checking on him all the time and my vet is linked to Hanrob. Dean the vet at Moonee Valley Animal Hospital is the best vet in the world. We owe him alot for helping me understand that Oscar can have a great quality of life with a special diet.

This was the first time Yogi has stayed in a kennel. She is a 7:5 year old Labrador and has high anxiety when left alone for too long. I can honestly rate Hanrob, Melbourne as a five star pet retreat. Yogi returned home happy and healthy after a two week stay. The staff were very friendly, reassuring and accommodating in answering my many questions.

Definitely recommend Hanrob - the staff are friendly, reassuring and professional. The pick-up service is so convenient and my dog returns home well looked after. The report cards are just icing on the cake!

I thoroughly recommend to any dog lover Hanrob Pet Hotels ! Staff are friendly, and have a genuine love for animals. We we picked up our jack russell after a three day stay and was pleased to see she was still her bubbly and loving self compared to negative experiences elsewhere. We also received a report card on how she settled into Hanrob, who she played with and how well she ate. I certainly will be booking with Hanrob again

I was so happy to had taken my beautiful dog Sammy to Handrob pet hotel. Sammy looked so happy and himself when we picked him up. He was skin care of and had lots of play with other dogs, got feed and washed. we'all definitely be bringing him back and he can't wait to have another play date with his friends. Thank you to the staff ️

We are very happy with Zoe staying at Tullamarine as the staff are always so friendly and we always get a report on her when I ring up to check how she has settled in. She does come home very tired but that is from all the playtimes with the other dogs which she would love as she is a social dog. It is also great that she can share with another dog as this would make her settle in better having company.

I always trust Hanrob with our 2 dogs. The dogs know the place and are happy to go out the back with the staff when I am dropping them off. The opening hours and location are very convenient.

Toto is a Hanrob regular at Tullamarine and as such has a huge staff following, even when has been 8 months since his last visit! The staff seem to really enjoy looking after him and whilst he gets 'dragged' into Hanrob he needs to be 'dragged' out to go home with his owners, testament to one happy little Jack Russell and the caring environment during his stay

Both of our dogs are always coming home super happy and exhausted from a lot of playtime and cuddles from staff. Very well cared for and smelling great after their departure bath. Thank you so much for looking after Domo and Panda at Hanrob Melbourne (airport). Also to the friendly staffs working there and making it easy during booking and keeping us updated on their activities when we pick them up.

We received a friendly and professional welcome upon arrival. More importantly our dog Stella received a very friendly greeting. The report we received upon pick-up was informative and assured us that Stella enjoyed her stay. The pick-up service from our local pet store was very convenient. This was the first time we have used a boarding kennel so it did seem expensive once we included a daily play time.

I have already recommended Hanrob to all my friends with pets. Firstly it is comforting to see the security and safety provided with the gates, fencing and pinpad entry after dark. Then there is the welcoming environment of the reception area and the warm professional welcome from all the staff. The facility is immaculately clean and modern. I have even used Hanrob to look after Belle while I have had carpets cleaned at home, not just for holidays. But what I really appreciate is the feedback slip provided after the stay. I can tell by the language used that the person writing it has taken time to get to know know and really care about my darling cat Belle.

My Danny (West Highland White Terrier) recently stayed at the Tullamarine Hanrob hotel. He was quite happy to go off and explore his 'suite' and all the different smells and new people and doggy friends. I booked the package with extra playtime as he's used to coming in and out and investigating things. I heard he made a little Maltese friend and liked watching the TV! When I picked him up we was excited and didn't seem stressed at all. He usually stays with friends or in a home environment, but even though Hanrob is a bit different, I feel he was fine. Danny has to have special food, and the staff were very professional in cataloging his bits & pieces and his special favourite teddy! I've booked him in again - it's good to know he'll be in a safe environment and I'm sure will make more friends!

We use Hanrob for Daycare for our much loved pooch. They look after our boy like he is their own. He is so excited to go everyday and whilst we are at work we know he is well looked after. He gets to play all day with other dogs and we know he has a great time as he is exhausted when he comes home from running around all day. The premises is very clean and the great thing is that it has an outdoor and indoor play areas for dogs. We used to take our dog to another venue and they only had an indoor play area and our pooch got sick often. I recommend Hanrob to everyone! Your pooch will be in good hands with these guys.

I left my 2 toy poodles there for 2 weeks. I go to pick them up and not only are my puppies stressed but my puppy Lexi who is 1 year had a urinary tract infection, lost weight and lost her appetite. I had to rush her to the vet as she was severely dehydrated and dazed. I took an 8kg bag of food which was not even half and when I collected my pets the bag was nearly finished. I don't think the people at Hanrob take care of people's pets as they cant even pick up signs of a stressed pet and they meant to be Melbourne's no.1 hotel. If the pets are stressed the least they could of done was email me or given me a call which was never done. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For the price I paid it wasn't worth it. Waste of time and money. I know for sure I will not be returning.

Disappointed to hear my sisters dog who stayed at the hotel for a week was sick apon returning. They had not been informed that dog will ill or going through any distress. Understable that animals in new environments become stressed and thus make it easier to be sick however as this pet is a frequent pet hotel user it's unusual she was ill this time. After calling management to discus the issue was and why we had not been informed earlier, there was no sympathy or concern from hanrob who simply hung up on us. This type of customer service is appalling and clearly better sanity of faculties is needed to ensure animals are clean and remain healthy.

Our lovely pup - Madi has just had her second holiday at Hanrob Melbourne. The premises are clean and modern. The staff are very friendly and record all details of her needs before we drop her off - and they ensured these were met. It is obvious that when we collect Madi she is thoroughly exhausted from all her play-time with her new friends - we chose the half day play package. The complementary pick-up from our local Vet is a bonus and the Hanrob site is very close to Melbourne airport for reuniting with our lovely little girl. I certainly recommend Hanrob Pet Hotels - Melbourne. Their hours are wonderful also for the busy traveller or the casual holiday (for both Madi and us)!

Cheerful, passionate and attentive staff. Able to view pics on line of our dog. When we picked up Cooper, he was excited to see us and showed no signs of stress. We were also given a report of his feeding habits and general behavior during his stay. Would highly recommend Hanrob to anybody who is nervous about leaving their pet in the care of others.

I picked up my two pooches ( mini dachshunds) last weekend and just wanted to say a big thank you to Hanrob Melbourne. I was very nervous about leaving Layla and Schatzi - particularly Layla as she is a very anxious dog. The entire experience has been top notch from booking, to pick up from Seddon vet hospital, to ringing to check on them and then today when I picked them up- it was like they didnt want to come home -- which is a good sign as whenever I have picked them up from elsewhere they couldn't wait to get out of there. Layla in particular struggles with men ---and to pick her up and to find out she had let a young man walk and bath her was amazing--the young man who carried her out to me was delightful. Schatzi has a weight problem, and I can tell he has dropped a little bit of weight from the walks he had been on which is great. A special thanks to Kacey who I spoke with on the phone and when I picked them up -- she had obviously shown them a lot of attention. I will def be back.
