Susan & her team were wonderful in refinancing our 5 mortgages to another bank. We did not want to cross collateralise so it was a LOT of paperwork to go through. Susan will fight for you if things are not right with the bank (which she did for us & got us our $3000 cash back). Her team are constantly emailing and/or calling to give you progress updates on your application & they also follow up AFTER settlement to check everything is in order. I have never dealt with such a caring professional before & I love that she knows everything about your application as she deals with it all from beginning to end. I can’t recommend Susan & her team at Dream Catchers Lending highly enough.

Lordy be did I get myself in a pickle. 4 years ago. I got some terrible bank advice. Then I found Susan tan from dream catchers. She went through all the issues and sticky points. She helped me get through some serious financial whoopsadaisies. Susan has stuck with me for the last 4 years to fix everything and next week I will be moving into my brand new awesome home. I cannot rate highly enough her ethics, industry knowledge, and integrity of the process. I am so glad I found Susan and dream catchers. Everything from short-term loans to construction loans. I first met Susan when she worked for one of the big four banks. At that time, probably 15 years ago, there was less emphasis on making sure you always got the best deal because I believed the ‘bank’ would value their loyal clients and do the right thing. Wow, how time opens your eyes. Now, Susan is working for herself running a fantastic business which does actually treat the customers with genuine care and honesty. In my opinion the big four have lost touch with their customers and just treat everyone as a transaction. My children have gone to Susan and they all say the same thing. “Susan is just so lovely, and very efficient”. I would not hesitate to recommend Susan. She is genuine, she is honest, she does follow things up and you will trust her. She is the best I have found in the mortgage industry and I will unreservedly tell anyone I know to contact Susan. The big four have no concern for their customers, therefore Susan will fight for you and get you the best deal available from whichever lender will do their utmost to get the business. Which at any time of your life, is important.

Dream Catchers Lending is well named as that's exactly what they do. I have had a dream to buy my own home for some time. Susan knew exactly which lender would work best with my specific circumstances as I am self-employed. She also researched other options in case there were issues. My tight finance clause created tension however Susan's immense knowledge, intuitive ability, and calm, professional demeanor resulted in a super positive outcome in an amazing time frame. I now own a most beautiful home- my dream come true. Highly recommend !!

I found Susan after googling "best mortgage broker Canberra". I had been wading through the crazy and overwhelming task of trying to buy my first home. I'd met with numerous "free" brokers and I was convinced by them that trying to find a home in Canberra wouldn't be achievable as a single parent. I was simply "priced out" and needed to move to NSW. Susan sat with me for over an hour and went through everything and showed me that all was not hopeless, that not only did I have a chance, but I could actually do it. I'm so happy to say that I purchased my first home in Canberra and I honestly couldn't have done it without Susan and her team. She cares, genuinely cares. There wasn't anything too hard for her and she guided me through everything and made it easy and exciting. You will not find a better person to help you achieve your dream. I'd give her 10 stars if I could!

My partner and I can't thank Susan and her team enough. After speaking to multiple brokers prior to being recommended to Susan being approved for a loan due to self employment seemed like it was going to be near impossible. But not for Susan. I would highly recommend Susan Tan (Dream Catchers Lending) to anyone looking to buy a property. I started looking for a property in early January, and luckily stumbled across something I really liked. My finances were not quite in order, and when I approached my regular bank, I was told that I couldn't get a loan. Not only did Susan arrange one, it was at a lower rate and better terms than I had expected. All of it was done within weeks. She clearly told me exactly what documentations I needed to prepare. I didn't have to deal with the bank, or face any of the stress. It was a pleasure working with her.

My situation was a little tricky however Susan was willing to do all that was possible to get my loan across the line whereas another broker I spoke to didn't even bother to try. I was very happy with Susan and would definitely use her again for any lending needs.

If you're looking for a mortgage broker, I highly recommend Susan Tan. As first home buyers, my husband and I had no idea where to even begin looking or if we were even financially ready to purchase a property. As a client, we have dealt with many home loan brokers, finance specialists and lenders directly. We have difficulties understanding the process, and products. Communication was poor, where we have to constantly chase them up. We always ended up confused and unhappy at the end of the process; so we had to look for another broker or bank for our next property. We are so glad that we found Susan Tan. After having years of bad experiences, we were skeptical during the initial dealings with Susan but very soon found that she is excellent. She takes time to understand our situation and guide us through the process with regular updates. It was so refreshing to sit back and receive updates throughout the process without chasing up. She follows through and makes sure things get done properly. Nothing is too hard for Susan, we really feel that she’s working hard for us to deal with the bank. Three properties on and Susan is still our “go-to” person when it comes to financing. We had some hectic timeframes to achieve our unconditional mortgage approval. The advice and organisation that Susan delivered around Lender's Mortgage Insurance (LMI), Loan to Value Ratio (LVR), Offset facilities and fixed interest & variable interest rate splits completely removed the stress out from the buying process. Susan was professional, knowledgeable and most importantly honest and transparent about the options. My partner and I have praised Susan to all of our friends. I first approached Susan roughly six months after moving to Australia from New Zealand. As new arrivers in the country, getting a home loan seemed like a daunting task, however Susan made it an easy process! Susan supported us with exploring different lenders given our unique situation. She went more than the extra mile in meeting where it was convenient for me, communicating via email and phone where my work didn't allow face-to-face meetings and providing timely and accurate advice and information. In just a few months Susan helped us to make the dream of buying our first home a reality. Her recommendations of which lawyers to use, what information to provide the lenders, using different approaches to ensure we had the right finances available and general support throughout the process was invaluable. When I contacted Susan recently for her advice, I was very impressed that not only did she remember our only conversation months before, but she knew what stage I was up to and had a couple of ready solutions. One option I knew would offer Susan absolutely no financial benefit. This showed me that her priority was to offer the most professional service to meet my needs.
