I recently completed an interstate move with Rham Transport which was nothing short of deplorable. They ask for an inventory list well in advance, and use that to their advantage come move day. I strongly recommend overestimating how many boxes you think you will fill with belongings. I undershot by 1 box, and Rham transport charged me $500 to add 1 small box to my inventory list. For weeks after my belongings were due to arrive at the destination, I called Rham Transport to get an update on where my stuff was. On all 4 occasions I made this call, the customer service rep said "I will check with the team and get back to you in 5 to 10 minutes". Not once did they get back to me. My belongings ended up arriving almost 1 month late with little to no communication from Rham Transport. Once my container arrived, we opened it up only to find that many of my belongings had broke due to some of the most negligent stacking of anything I have ever seen in my life. I have reached out to Rham Transport multiple times since then to be compensated for the damage they have caused to my belongings - only to be completely ghosted by them. My experience with Rham Transport has been nothing short of bad. This is a shady moving company and I strongly recommend you do not engage with them in any way.

To be clear, I was not the client, I was opening up the home near Gympie on behalf of interstate friends/owners. The Rahm guys out of Brisbane were terrible. To start, they reversed off the driveway into mud, nearly hit a gumtree, so stuck some 75 metres from the house which was downhill. Driver error, big time ! They were very difficult to understand, nearing unpleasant, and uncooperative. Walked all items for the house move about 75 metres, so job took at least 2 hours longer. They in many cases didn’t read room locations clearly written on boxes. Eg, kitchen boxes into rear work shed. No effort to relocate, so I did this. Spent a lot of time on their phones, until I told them to dump the calls, waisting time in addition to the long (slow) walk from truck to house. They asked me to back my 4x4 car up to the truck to load boxes then drive to house, of course I obliged, but they didn’t unload our car for 1 hour, hoping we would unload it, we ended up doing some unloading. Boxes fell off the truck tail gait, a Karcher unit was broken, boxes crushed, no damage within, lucky. Plastic box fell off, items broken and many small garden items left spread in driveway. Requested them to pick up, they drove off in a rush. I picked up the items and rubbish. Rang the office number 1300775133 to discuss and got fobbed off to the principal removalist, Rham couldn’t care less, and even less as I wasn’t the client. Just a horrible experience. Ian

Rham Transport team are awesome. Admin, management but especially the moving team. Garry and Gurjant delivered my goods in SA from Vic.....put everything where it needed to go. They were cheerful, friendly and great guys. The two packing guys in Vic - Sam and his mate (sorry forgot his name) were also fabulous. Highly recommend Rham Transport.

Table arrived broken and now completely unusable. Drivers took photos and advised they would send them to the office and that I should contact the office to be compensated. Two emails and three phone calls later, they finally responded and advised they take no responsibility for damage. What’s the point in paying a Removalist if they can’t even deliver your stuff in one piece. Not talking about a scratch the legs have been snapped off the table. Recommend to avoid.

As a result of a job change, I had to move at very short notice from Sydney to Canberra. I contacted Rham team after reading the reviews online and comparing not just price but service with other movers. The guys were on time, take care in packing furniture and pack the truck securely. Noting the delivery time over potentially 7 days, I was surprised when they delivered in Canberra at 0830 the next day - even beating me to the national capital. My thanks to Rham and the team for their assistance. My advice - use Rham!!!

I recently moved from Sydney to Adelaide during a particularly difficult time and Rham delivered exceptional and trouble-free service, door-to-storage-to-door. They are an extremely professional, reliable and respectful team and I would use their services again without hesitation. A very happy customer experience.

Hello I want to let you know I found on 6 occasions over the last 15 mths excellent service and very good pricing for my interstate /storage and local removal of all residential home items friendly polite crew and prompt timing . I really think they are as good as other removalists who provide good realible service at premium quotes try them out John b

I engaged Rham Transport Removals early 2020 when I was relocating from Sydney to Melbourne and was quite satisfied with their services .The guys were brilliant, didn't waste time, were careful with the move and both had great customer skills.The booking process was easy and they were very flexible with date changes. Price wise, they are very reasonable compared to other companies . Would highly recommend them.

I was moving from Sydney to Adelaide they packed all furniture, without any complaints no starches or bumps on wall, and unpacked and put in place in rooms. I am so happy for brilliant job they did. Thank you guys thumbs up.

In one sentence, Most horrible service! The two removalists came 2 hr and 15mins late then started the timer once they came upstairs. After that one of the members look his lunch and another one was moving around which looks like they do not know what to do! They damaged my couch which happed due to their unprofessional handling. When I complain it to them and their office, they simple react that nothing happened. I sent then all damage pictures and they came up with their T&C that “Scratches and accidental damages to the cargo in transit, storage or while loading/unloading are not covered by any of our standard insurances ” which means they do not care if they damage your goods!! They are also not very professional to moving items as my 6.5kg washing machine almost fall down 2 times when they were transferring it (I was behind them to see how they are working). They used trolley to carry small boxes without securing them properly! Overly, one of them (driver of the truck) was super slow and organize my staff unprofessionally inside the truck. After 1.5h they were even not able to move all of my staffs even though I and my friend helped them to move boxes, chairs, oven, table next to the truck. They intentionally waste time thus it took more than 3h to transfer my 2 bedrooms unit. Never take their service as they will destroy your furniture and will never compensate you. They will also take extra time to fill up their own target. I will never suggest anyone to take their service anymore.

Very disappointed with the service. They damaged the Lino in the kitchen, I sent photos of the damage the very same day. After a very poor investigation I was advised they would take no responsibility. I will never use this company again and you shouldn’t either.

THE WORST MOVERS EVER HIRED I recently hired Rham movers to move within Castle Hill, literally 5 mins from one house to the other. Once I got a quote they chased me every few days for the business, got the deposit and committed to everything that I had confirmed I needed. As everyone who moves knows it is practically impossible to check each and everything at the time the movers have completed the job and so we discovered within 24 hours the following: All our white furniture had black marks on it in some area or the other, this is BRAND NEW furniture we just bought one month before moving They promised to disassemble and assemble the bed, but they left the kids bunk bed screws and I was transporting it myself to make sure nothing gets left behind and then they did assemble it the kids bunk bed stairs had screws missing, and none of it was returned. I found a screw from my bed just lying under the bed and my own bed was slanted once put together. We spent Easter weekend putting our bed back together properly and found pieces of wood broken under the bed and double screw holes made. What was the worst was they used long screws in the short screw area and the long screws came out from the other side of the bed. They left a matteress in the hallway, kids toys and furniture in the garage and quickly called their company to let them know the job was done before we could check each and everything. So people know the evidence, attached are pictures from their service and ofcourse they committed to finding everything out and said : Asper both the driver statements they assemble the 3 beds including bunk beds in same position they dismantle. I’m not sure how the bunk beds had nuts and bolts missing on stairs which I would have missed out from Harvey Norman and how a screw was found under the bed in my original house and not in the bed so they left it just like that. They chased me for my business and then gave me a terrible service and damaged ALL my furniture. They actually deserve zero stars. Use at own risk as their terms and conditions clearly state they will take no responsibility for any damage they cause themselves. Please read all their terms and conditions carefully. Unfortunately can’t post pictures here else happy to share proof. Hope this helps someone else looking for movers.

Great job done by Vicky and his Team, quiet few challenges with narrow streets were navigated very well, robust furniture handed very well, job completed timely and he has great personality. Warmly recommended!

Boys arrived on time, were very polite, professional, careful and worked at a very good pace to move our furniture from a level 2 apartment to a level 3. We couldn't be any happier. A great experience in moving house with 2 easy removalists. Booking was nice and easy with good communication via email from John. Then the move was very efficient and effective. Sam and Vishal were very nice and fit, strong lads. Highly recommend!

So far absolute disaster. We moved to Adelaide and we can't get our stuff back. It appears that it's not even in SA even though it was moved over 3 months ago! Don't use these people. Very poor customer service.

Hired Rham Transport on 8th July 2018, moving home from Penshurst to Parramatta. Truck came on time as promised between 8am-8:30am. I was happy with the 2 removalist named Simran and Shubham. These guys were friendly, polite, they followed orders well and worked very hard to complete the task. The job took 4 hours to complete (including the drive between 2 suburbs). They did very well and am happy with their service. Will use them again in the future. Thanks guys.

Guys were absolutely amazing - they were friendly, fast and super efficient, taking great care of all our fragile stuff. From start to finish (door-door) it only took 2.5 hours and we had a fair amount of stuff! We will definitely be using these guys again and recommending to our friends.

Under no circumstances would I ever recommend Rham Transport. They were by far the most inexperienced [Redacted Inflammatory comment] removalists I have had the misfortune to engage. In a move from Sydney's inner west to eastern suburbs (ie not far!) we had three wardrobes and a dining table badly damaged. Still awaiting response re compensation from management after providing a comprehensive set of photographic evidence and in the interim have initiated contact with Dept of Fair Trading.

Punctual and polite and there was no damage caused to furniture/goods moved. However, the work done was VERY SLOW moving so double the amount of time allocated to complete the job.

On the day of the move the truck didn't arrive till late and when we called to enquire they became aggressive, despite me kept repeating to be nice to each other they kept shouting and asking "you want our truck to come or not, you can take your deposit back" and hung up the phone. another person called within one minute was more aggressive and said "you can cancel the booking and forget about the deposit and if you still go ahead with the booking then YOU NEED TO PAY ALL THE DUE AMOUNT HALF AN HOUR BEFORE THE WORK FINISH. We got so worried that we decided to lose the deposit rather than further dealing with the company. I may reach out to fair trading and other review forums to make sure potential customers don't have the same experience we did. Me and my family, including 4-year kid, had to struggle and suffer to arrange another removalist same day on urgency.

Rham team did a great job in helping me move interstate from Sydney to Melbourne. This is not the first time I have hired their services and they do not disappoint. There was an initial confusion on when they would pick up the items and that induced a delay of 2 hours but once they were there, not only were they quick but also ensured all the items were loaded securely and without damage. Given the reasonable pricing, flexibility to assist with my needs on the schedule and the professional dealing definitely makes me recommend them. Good job guys!

I recently relocated interstate ( melbourne to Sydney ) , Right from the first inquiry call, through the estimate at home and then the guys who actually did the move (over 2 days- an interstate move), and found both the pick up and delivery crews to be very professional, they were punctual, careful and efficient while always ensuring that every item was placed where I needed it to be. Not one item in the entire inventory was damaged or broken. I have no hesitation in recommending Rham Transport Removals and highly recommend their hard working and very professional crews.
