I am a return customer to New Gen Solar! I was thoroughly impressed with the company's service and how quiet and efficient the Sanden Eco unit was 2 yrs ago, that I didn't hesitate to speak to Ben again for my new home's hot water needs. As usual, excellent communication from Ben, and professional, friendly service from both plumbing and electrical teams. Sanden may be expensive, but worth every cent. Even on days of gloomy weather with no sun in sight, it still manages to heat up and provide us with hot water. My unit is set up on timer to feed of the solar panels. Highly recommended company and product!

Really happy we had NewGen Solar design & install our solar panels in Black Rock. Especially considering where power prices are going. Ben designed a solution to maximise our coverage. Provided a straight black panel & fames option giving us a great looking solution. The Enphase Microinverters were an outstanding addition. Outstanding service including: - Design of the solution to fit our budget & needs. Included maximising our capacity. - Installation was outstanding, including full clean up, restoration of walls and a sharp finish to both panel frames & inverter box - Connectivity into the grid, rebates, paperwork etc - Quote was favorable to others I received

One of the best systems around, excellent service and staff. The process from start to finish was a dream , with a fantastic installation team. The Improvement in the hot water availability and the recovery rate has been eye opening, I should have done it years ago, also since I'm generating my own power it has allowed me to go to warm or hot water in my washing something i haven't been able to afford for 10 years. I will recover my costs in about 6 years

Many thanks to Ben, Russel, Jacob and the rest of the team at NewGen. We thoroughly appreciate your responsiveness, and how you worked around our preferences. Your price was competitive, and the speed with which you were able to install the heat pump made you the clear choice. Hot water was available by the time we needed it in the evening, the tank and heat pump are neatly installed, the owner's manual was left for us in a rain-proof packet and in a logical place, and the back yard and bathroom no longer stink of mercaptan. We particularly appreciated the plumbers' extra work to get rid of some old fittings and finalise our disconnection from gas. Thanks for making this a fast and stress-free process for us!

The installation was done so professionally and in such a timely manner and the site left impeccably clean and tidy.The system was fully explained to me and within an hour of my NewGen Solar & heat pump being in operation I had steaming hot water.Ben from NewGen called in later the same day after the installation to check all was well and explained the finer details of my new hot water system and said call any time day or night if any problem's. Ben and his team are amazing. Absolutely clear and useful information from Ben from my first contact with him, without the hard sell I had experienced from many other suppliers. Now that I have the system successfully installed in our new home I can understand why, the quality speaks for itself, amazing hot water! The plumbing team arrived on-time, and were professional and friendly. They did a pretty amazing job, and were adaptable and consultative about some site specific challenges that popped up on the day. Same feedback about the electrician that came to activate the system when the plumbers were done, polite, professional and did an amazing job. We were cleaning the house on the install day, and he went so far as to walk the long way around to avoid a freshly mopped floor. It may seem a small thing but it spoke volumes about the fella. Every interaction I have had with NewGen has been fabulous, from initial inquiry to administration related invoice elements. I cannot rate them highly enough as a supplier, and the Sanden brand Heat Pump system they recommended for us is spectacular, plenty of delightfully hot water for a household of 4 adults. Thanks Ben and team, you are great!

Three months ago New Gen Solar installed a Sanden Heat Pump hot water system to replace a roof top solar hot water. The system was promptly and professionally installed and we have been delighted with the outcome. The heat pump is whisper quiet and hot water was delivered within 15 minutes of switching on. We operate the system on off peak electricity and it delivers large amounts of hot water at economical rates. Thanks Ben and New Gen Solar.

great product installed by an amazing team! I was looking to replace my power hungry electric storage water heater system with an energy efficient system. I must have called about 4 different companies who ranged from rude at the worst to not helpful at the best. the last call i made was to new gen solar. Ben asked me a fair bit of questions to understand my requirements and also recommend options for me to evaluate. Never at this time was he being pushy and trying to sell me something. In the end I was of the view that his recommendation was going to save me quite a few $$$ - both in short term and long term. The plumbing team of Jack & Russel came right on time at 8 am and finished off installing the system by 11 am. They did a pretty amazing job. Everything was left neat and tidy. Gary and Jacob came a bit later in the day and completed the electrical work. I can see the savings in my solar power app. the peak usage has come down from 3.75KW to just about 0.95KW and I get hot water. Needless to say, I am very happy. Now I need to monitor how the system runs over the next few weeks and over winter. Fingers crossed the system is as good as its claimed to be.

From time of ordering on a Thursday morning (before Australia Day) we had hot water from our new system on the following Monday afternoon. Converted our gas hot water service to a Sanden Heat Pump with the team from NewGen Solar & Heat Pumps a few months ago. That got our HWS off gas and the only thing remaining is the cooktop and heating. As it was winter and the heater was in use it has been hard to really determine how much gas was being saved and how much extra electricity was being used. Typically a HWS accounts for 20% of home energy bills (maybe not our house) and it was expected the heat pump would add an additional 4 to 5 kWhrs of electrical energy. Now that it is summer and the only gas use has been the cooktop it is fairly easy to see the differences. Electricity has indeed increased 4 to 5 kWhr/day but gas energy has been reduced by approximately 80 MJ/day - that is the equivalent of 22kWhr thanks to the efficiency factor of the Sanden heat pump of 5. At $0.32/kWhr for electricity and $0.025/MJ for gas I pay an extra $1.60/day for electricity and save $2/day on gas. Now that is going to take quite a few years to pay off the additional expense (unless I get solar PV) but I will eventually come out ahead and even quicker if gas prices continue to skyrocket. If you are thinking of a new HWS the Sanden heat pump is everything it claims to be and the team at NewGen Solar were a delight to work with.

We were really rapt with this service from Ben's consultation and organisation of everything to the team on site who did a really thorough job. As an early adopter of this type of equipment access to good data is crucial to decide whether to run it during the day or at night, what size tank to buy and also whether to link it to the use of solar panels during the day. Ben pointed us to Sandens US website for this purpose. Really great to have Ben's 'open all hours' attitude to support as well.

I purchased a Stiebel Eltron unit from Ben, despite an issue with the delivery (out of Ben's control) Ben solved the issue quickly and efficiently. The unit arrived, now installed and works to perfection, I estimate my annual savings to be in the high hundreds. Great product, very quiet and a great person to deal with - ten stars from me, look no further for a hot water solution.

From the first call to Ben, who was there to quote within 3 hours, to the plumbers and electrician who arrived at 7am the next day, we have nothing but sincere praise. We had done a lot of research about the best system for its Eco credentials and value and kept coming up with Newgen . It was great to see all involved so passionate about their product and service. The Sanden system works effectively with our new solar energy and the installation is very neat and tidy. Fast, efficient and hot! We were extremely impressed with Ben in his advice, pre sale and post sale communication. We purchased a Sanden hot water tank and heat pump and have been loving the instant and constant hot water. Our previous system was a different brand ( Quantum) and, on reflection, a poorer quality product. However, after doing some research on the Sanden product and speaking to Ben, we were convinced that the increased price was well worth it. Ben was extremely responsive and delivered our new system quickly and efficiently. We were also impressed with the workmanship of the men installing the system. It has been nearly two months now since our purchase and I would highly recommend Ben at NewGen Solar. Our only regret is that we did not change over hot water tanks sooner.

Contacted a number of solar hot water suppliers to get quotes and information about replacing our hot water unit. The NewGen contact was Ben Cole who not only answered my questions on the phone but same day arranged to call in and explain the Sanden Eco Heat Pump Hot Water System. My wife and I were impressed with his no nonsense approach and his comprehensive knowledge of the heat pump attributes. After explaining the stainless water tank was made in Australia and had a 15 year warranty and that the whisper quiet heat pump fan used only 1kw of power a day, perfect when combined with our solar PV array we agreed to have the system installed. Next day, bright and early, his team Russell and Jacob arrived with all units and commenced to remove the old system and install the Sanden. They did a thoroughly professional job completing all the work in 3 hours. Commissioning the unit and explaining how it worked. It was already hot by the time they had cleaned up and headed off. It is hard to find reliable and professional tradesman today and I would thoroughly recommend NewGen and their installation team. So far the heat pump has been a very effective hot water generator. And I am confident that I could contact Ben Cole at any time should I need his assistance. Thanks NewGen.

We had a Hot Water Heater Pump installed through Ben a year ago. Best decision and investment on our 10 year old house we've made yet. We have halved our electricity bills from replacing our old electric hot water system. It's so quiet you do know its there. Best of all no more wasted water and its top of the list for energy efficiency of the unit. Ben was completely helpful in explaining how it operates compared to our old unit. All the tradesmen NewGen Solar use are great. Ben keep in touch all the time to let us know what was happening and was flexable with us from start to finish. Pleasure to do bussiness with. Fantastic product and fantastic service! When building our current house, I did many hours researching an appropriate hot water service and decided on a Sanden Eco 315 heat pump system. Whilst the product reviews helped, it was the pre-sales advice from Ben at NewGen Solar that convinced me that I was making the right decision. And right decision it was. The Sanden unit is very efficient, very quiet and quick to get hot water flowing. As for Ben and his team at NewGen Solar, absolutely faultless. Needed a new hot water system quickly. NewGen fited in quickly with my availability and replaced my leaky gas hotwater sysyem with a new Sanden heat pump heater. Not only now can I use my solar panels to heat water but the installers were great. Punctual, quick, efficient and did a fantastic clean up after the install. Highly recommended.

The NewGenSolar team have just removed our old solar system and replaced it with a Sanden Heat pump unit. NewGen cost only slightly more than the 'supply only' route, which I consider a bargain. There was one minor glitch in the plumbing, which was fixed promptly. The installation is neat and impressive, and the performance of the new system is excellent. This is the best experience I have ever had with an appliance installation. Thanks NewGen.

They kept me informed all the way through the process, the install of the Sanden Heat Pump is very professional (Our old hot water system was internal to our house, but the move an external system was seamless) and they system works like a dream. I was worried that there was no reviews on Google, but after dealing with Ben at NewGen Solar, I would have no reservations recommending them to others.

We had the short 315L Sanden heat pump system installed in mid-May 2016. Within 15 minutes of the system being turned on we had hot water and the heat pump was barely audible. Within about 4 hours we had a tank full of hot water even though it was a very cool day. Ben at NewGen was was very helpful and his product and pre-sales knowledge eased any concerns we had about our decision to purchase the Sanden heat pump system. Given the reputation of some other heat pump systems Ben's expertise was invaluable and comforting. Ben's after installation service has also been outstanding. We're looking forward to many years of service from our new system.
