We would like to thank Ada, Michael and Rod for guiding us through arranging our mother, Margery’s funeral. They were very helpful and straight forward completing the paperwork and planning the service. They were also very caring and provided a good welcome to all guests at the ceremony. So many of our friends commented on how beautiful the service was. It was so lovely when Rod welcomed the grandchildren, relatives and friends who were watching in Canada and England and we waved to them. It felt as if we were all together. We would without hesitation recommend Silver Dove funerals.

Dear Ada Thank you very much for organising Mum's funeral so superbly. Everything was perfect - even the weather, which I know you didn't organise! Michael's gentle and caring manner was warming. He couldn't do enough for us. Our celebrant, Lemise spoke beautifully and captured the essence of Mum so well. The other lady, whose name escapes me and for which I apologise, was lovely as well. Silver Dove Funerals made my funeral organizing process simple and very pleasant. Silver Dove's fees were far less than other well known chain funeral companies. I was never rushed and Ada always kept me calm throughout the process. She responded to every demand and request I had, no matter how complicated and was very reassuring with always a lovely and calm manner. The celebrant Rod, on the day was great. He delivered the service with such lovely words and pulled all the parts together in a smooth flowing order. I would recommend this business to others who are looking for a funeral company.

In a world of shock and pain, with absolutely no idea of how to get through each day let alone arrange a funeral, I stumbled upon Ada and Michael. They are truly kind, caring and so professional. I felt very comfortable knowing my son and his day was in their hands. They were amazing and I can not express in mere words how grateful I am , for the support and empathy that was shown to me and my family. Saying goodbye to your child is an extremely difficult thing to do, let alone throwing in some family dysfunction, Ada and Michael were the epitome of quiet strength, compassion and dignity. Right from my very first sob filled call to Silver Doves I was only met with compassion and warmth, I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. Don't look further than Silver Dove Funerals. Silver Dove Funerals should be on the top of the list when you're googling funeral directors. Ada and Michael are just the best - if you want compassion, integrity, authenticity and no pressure to spend exorbitantly when you're at your most vulnerable. Don't even consider the well known brands, they're all about profits and are owned by the big conglomerates. Silver Dove Funerals do not push you for the high end arrangements yet still give you the very best. So many people commented on what a beautiful funeral service we had for our beautiful mother. Right down to the high end memorial book and other small but noticeable touches, the very best I've ever seen and sadly I've been to so many funerals that I believe am a very good judge. Seriously, don't look further than Silver Dove Funerals. Thank you Ada and Michael.

Ada met with us, and listened to & answered all our questions with compassion and understanding. She explained the options available to us, and once we had decided what we wanted, she made it all happen. On the day everything went very smoothly . The flowers were beautiful . And having the video streaming option available for the service is so very useful for family members or friends overseas or interstate who can't otherwise attend.

One of the hardest things I have had to do is say goodbye to my Dad. My mum who was struggling with all the many steps that need to be done when loosing a spouse, having both Ada and Michael take care of this important aspect both mum and I knew that we were in good hands. Unfortunately less than two weeks after my dad passed we found that we had to contact Ada and Michael again for the passing of my Aunty (mums sister). Ada and her husband Michael provided us with care, concern and calm at a time when we needed it most. Never having been through arranging a funeral for a loved one, Ada took away that anxiety immediately and gave us the confidence we needed to plan a beautiful farewell for Mum. Dear Ada, I wish to solemnly thank both yourself and your family owned business for all your care, integrity, compassion, advice, tolerance in the arrangements, and the flawlessly, impeccably organised coordination of the funeral for both mine and my sisters dearly loved and terribly missed Mother, Patricia. There were only about three weeks between our family becoming aware of our Mother's diagnosis and eventual passing. Our desire was to spend as much time with our Mother as possible whilst both myself and younger sister were trying to simultaneously organise her funeral. During our own grief, my frequent changes and confused thought processes, Ada remained accomodating, compassionate and helped me greatly. She and her company provided a far more superior quality of care than the company owned by one of the multinationals, which had arranged and unsatisfactorily organised our Fathers funeral five years earlier. Her advice was sagely coming from sincere compassion, experience and understand the grief people go through as well as advice she provided me when my thoughts and behaviour were confused, for which I am eternally grateful. We were absolutely happy with both Ada of Silver Dove Funerals consultations, planning and flawless overseeing of my Mother's funeral to such an extent that our we would only recommend Silver Dove Funerals to anyone considering to pre-arrange or have to a loved one's funeral organised. Everything went to schedule and my Mother had a beautiful farewell. On the distasteful topic of expense, but a reality that one must face on such occasion, I can categorically state that Ada helps you understand the full costs nor attempts to influence or push you into products which you may not want. All costs are thoroughly explained and itemised. Virtually every other company I contacted would not do so, despite the legal requirement but rather provide you a total cost. Plus Silver Dove Funerals is definitely far from being overpriced. To both Ada and Silver Dove Funerals on behalf of myself and my Sisters, thank you and God Bless.

Ada/Silver Dove Funerals provided assistance beyond our expectations. We were wanting a very personal and family orientated approach and chose Silver Dove because it was a small family business. Our mother's death was a time of great sadness for our family and Ada was very respectful, kind, caring and informative in assisting us. The funeral service was just as we had instructed Ada, with details beautifully presented. Ada and her husband were quietly in the background, co-ordinating the funeral service and everything we requested was done with grace and dignity. Their professional care greatly assisted our family and I would recommend them to other families.
