When our Son tragically died, it was obviously an extremely emotional time for us. Now not only dealing with having lost our Son but now having to plan his funeral. We looked at a number of businesses online then came across Robert Nelson Funerals. We are big believers in reviews and there were so many great reviews there as well as a not so good one which came with reasons and not hidden but published. Now if someone is willing to leave feedback in such a traumatic and emotional time we value that greatly. We emailed and within the hour Robert made contact, we asked a few questions regarding bringing our sons dog to the funeral and from then on the service provided was absolutely faultless. We reside in Perth and this whole process of the funeral in Melb was without fault. We feel the funeral service provided along with the wonderful celebrant Marion was very fitting for our sons farewell. So if you are looking for a company to handle your funeral arrangements we give this 10/10. At an obviously difficult time, it was gratifying to find a service that took care of all necessary arrangements with compassion and professional competence. Further they provided guidance for navigating the subsequent and for me unfamiliar bureaucracies.

So professional, managed everything! You picked up the body from hospital and prepared a perfect funeral. I love the Daisy Box, such a good idea. The book you gave us with everyone who signed attendance is wonderful. The photos make it special. Your video of the funeral is superb, such a wonderful memory to retain. When going through the most horrific and traumatic time in your life; having to say goodbye to your tiny baby, you don't want to even think about making funeral arrangements, let alone function normally. If it weren't for Robert Nelson and his wonderful staff, I don't know what I would have done. Thank you Robert, for helping me celebrate my baby Olive, in the most sensitive, compassionate and beautiful way.

My daughters and I found Robert and his staff were very professional and made the send-off for their devoted father a very emotional experience. All our friends who joined us in the live-stream from Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore were very impressed with the opportunity to join us for the service. I would definitely recommend them for their services.

rom start to finish Robert and his Staff have looked after myself and my family. My Aunty was sent off with Honour and Dignity. Care, Compassion, Understanding, Empathy are but a few words that can be used to describe Robert and his wonderful team at Robert Nelson Funerals. Given the very sad circumstances, things could not have been better at all, in terms of the whole process. Our gorgeous Liz received the wonderful send-off she so richly deserved, with Robert and his team playing a very big part in that. I want to let you know how Robert Nelson helped us when my dearly loved mother in law Ellen passed away almost 2 months ago. Of all the companies I approached, I found that Robert Nelson appealed to the family the most due to his respectful and most obliging approach to the whole experience of dealing with the loss of a family member. The first indication that Robert Nelson funerals would suit the family's needs the best was when I saw on his website the option to have a funeral service at the Sandringham Yacht Club. We are so glad we chose this service and Robert Nelson. Robert came to our house I don't know how many times to go over all the details to make sure we had the service the family would be happy with. He explained the process of what was necessary to have Ellen removed from the hospital to the funeral parlour and then brought safely to the place of service before being cremated at Springvale Crematorium. He took care of everything once he had the family's instructions. He processed the necessary paperwork and followed up with the hospital on several occasions when they were taking their time to release Ellen into his care. He communicated with us every step of the way to let us know what was happening. When we decided we would prefer not to have a celebrant present and instead have a more informal service, whereby we would manage our own timeline for the service with a speaker of our choice, he did not hesitate to offer his assistance with setting up videos, photos, music etc. On the day we found the venue to be full of light, with beautiful views over the water. The room was large and open with plenty of seating and all amenities necessary to allow for eulogies, video, photo and music selection, placement of Ellen's coffin and tables for added floral tributes. The service allowed for food and beverage catering, some of which was included. The way Robert had this all set up meant that we could relax and not worry about what was going on in the background. It suited us just perfectly. The family and friends who attended all thought it was a lovely way to farewell Ellen. There were tears, but also laughter as everybody felt they were in a good place to say goodbye to Ellen. Thank you Robert for making us feel comfortable about asking for a funeral service to suit our needs. We warmed to your friendly, respectful manner and sense of humour within minutes. We are so glad we chose you. Best Regards, Terry
