Our family highly recommends Funera Services. Not only is Funera a highly professional and experienced service, they are thorough, compassionate, respectful of the family's wishes, flexible, and patient. We have, unfortunately had to organize many funerals over the years and Funera has been the number 1 experience. Scott made sure that everything went as planned by the family. Everything was perfect. The preparation of the slide show celebrating our mother's life was made so much easier because of Scott and his team's expertise in I.T. The Order of Service Cards were beautiful and of a standard I have never seen before. Funera is a genuine caring service at a time when families need this the most. The whole package from Funera, their attention to detail, commitment to the quality of products and service, their more than reasonable fee structure, Scott's availability-everything I can think of stands this funeral service apart from the rest. I cannot speak highly enough of Scott at Afterlife Funerals. From the get go he was kind, accomodating and assisted us with the very speedy non face to face cremation of my Uncle Peter at VERY short notice. We’re given details at every stage of the process, he was empathetic and went above and beyond for me and my mum. My uncle Peters memorial page was a bonus and my heart was full with the love, care and attention he gave. He passed on our final message to my Uncle being “Please let Uncle Peter know that he’s been in our thoughts and he WAS loved even if he didn’t think worthy”. If I pass, my wishes are for this organisation to be used. Please note prices do vary, however our desperate needs for low cost cremation with no service were accommodated.

From the moment I called Scott, I knew I was talking to the right person. He was lighthearted and took all the guesswork out of something that was very difficult. Everything was transparent, no hidden bits and pieces and just so easy. The service was amazing, Phillip was brilliant and delivered the perfect balance of laughter and sympathy. The flowers, the casket, the location (Little Bay) and the execution of Mum’s farewell was nothing short of brilliant. Thanks Scott and team for everything you did - you made it all so much easier for my family and gave Mum the perfect send off she deserved.

Most people think that arranging a funeral and organising the necessary facilities is all that is involved. But the reality is there is so many important things (big and small) that a Funeral Home will take on to help you and your family after the passing of your loved one. The paperwork and the many decisions to be made can be really overwhelming which is one of the reasons you need a compassionate, caring and professional funeral care provider that is accessible. Someone who will make themselves available when you need them – day or night. Scott at Afterlife Funerals provided me with incredible support through the entire process (including giving me his direct mobile phone number). From helping me make decisions, filling out and checking forms and most importantly caring for my mother from the time she passed away until we could gather together for our final goodbye. From the first point of contact I also felt like I was in very good hands too. If this is your first time needing a Funeral Director, I liked how they had helpful packages on their website and very fair pricing. Scott can walk you through everything until you get clarity and he then just takes over and makes everything happen the way you want it – managing every detail for you. I really couldn’t fault the services they provided and genuine Customer Care. The Afterlife Funerals team has provided an excellent service for our mother's funeral. There was no reluctance to our requests, and we were just presented with additional possibilities.
