Different Drummer is a small cocktail and tapas bar. The food is great, good variety of tapas that come as decent sized portions. Sometimes it is hard to get a table. Happy hour is 2 for 1 cocktails which is great value (and the cocktails are excellent!). Definitely book a day or so in advance for Friday/Saturday evenings if you want a table.

Kim is a great hairdresser. The first time I went there she squeezed me in for an appointment just before an important event and she did such a great job that I've been going there ever since. She is particularly good at foils which always look very natural. She gives customers a loyalty card which entitles them to a discount after a certain number of visits. She has also come in early on a Saturday morning (7:30am) to do a blow dry for me before a wedding

I go to this restaurant on a semi regular basis, usually with a group of 5-10 friends. We always get seated quickly and easily, attended to promptly and the food is amazing especially the beetroot dip and pumpkin pide.

This cafe is in my old neighbourhood so I went their frequently. Its best for the coffee, which is great- very strong. There is no seating so it is best to get food to go. They have a variety of deli style food which is great and also meals to go.

Their gelato is also great- expecially the chocolate.

I love this cafe! Its my favourite place to chill out after a hard morning's shopping at Paddington Markets.
They have a big outdoor dining area which is also under cover. The food is AMAZING. I also get what they called a STAR- it is sour dough toast with cottage cheese, tomato and avocado on the top. It is on their light snacks menu but it is huge and great value for money (around $8) . The coffee is also great and their baristas are really good.
The table service is good, orders are taken quickly and coffee and food is served quite quickly also.

I frequently go to this cafe to meet up with friends for coffee or lunch. It has a really nice atmosphere with lots of funky artwork, cool couches and lamps. It has both indoor and outdoor seating (but not a lot oseating). They pride themselves on the freshness of their ingredients and the food is delicious. They have plenty of vegetarian options as well as options for kids. They are great value for money and are happy to let you stay as long as you wish after you have finished your meal or coffee- they never try to hurry you along.

I had 2 tattoos done at Stinger by Jimmy. He is very professional and makes sure you are entirely happy with the design before putting the transfer onto your skin. He did some absolutely beautiful shading work in my coloured tattoo. He is quite quick also. They are more than happy to touch up your tattoo within 30 days if there are any problems in the healing and they are more than happy to answer any questions that you have about the process or aftercare.

The prices at Leah's Waxworks are amazing.....they do a leg wax and brazilian for $55 and eyebrows for $10. The therapists are not overly friendly but they are pleasant and do a very thorough job. It is best to make an appointment for jobs that take longer times but for quick jobs like eyebrows they can usually fit in people who just drop in.

I had my eyebrows waxed at this salon. I was a walk in customer and was seen very quickly. The therapist was friendly but did a very quick job and did not pay attention to details- she didnt tweeze any brows to refine the style after she had finished waxing.

This gym is fantastic. Very modern equipment, lots of treadmills, there is almost never a line for equipement, lots of group exercises classes, good value personal training and physiotherapy, a swimming pool and nutrition advice available on site.

It is also very good value for money, with discounted rates for students.
