Kevin Morgan Pharmacy in South Hobart offer quick and personal service for all your medication needs. Most scripts are ready in 10 or 15 minutes. They also sell a range of gifts, makeup and personal care items. Pharmacists are very knowledgeable and take the time out to explain anything you want to know about the medications that you have been prescribed.
The South Hobart Post Office is small, but they still carry all your postage needs, from 5 cent stamps to 10 metre rolls of bubble wrap. Not only are the staff very friendly, but they seem to know all there is to know about the postal service and will offer you advice on which services are best for your needs.
Artery stock a huge range of quality art and craft supplies. The staff really know their stuff and will advise you on which products will best suit your needs. Artery can seem a little expensive, but that's because they stock quality products, which are worth paying a little more for.
I made a call-out to A. S. Farr electrical because some dodgey wiring was causing my power to go out. They actually arrived about 2 hours after I called, which is extremely quick (sometimes pizza delivery takes that long) They fixed my problem very quickly and properly, and the electrician was very friendly.
The Frankhead Beanie Co sell unique beanies especially designed with skiers and snowboarders in mind. They offer very quick support and great service. My beanie arrived very fast. The website is easy to navigate and use.

Mary-Anne Johnson has been teaching piano for over 10 years and specialises in teaching primary and highschool students. The rates are cheap, but the quality of teaching is excellent, and very personalised to your needs. Lesson times are flexible, most are held after school. Mary-Anne will help you or your child prepare for AMEB exams - both theory and musicianship.
I went to the Revolving restaurant for high tea on a Friday afterrnoon. The service was impeccable and the food was really delicious. It's quite nice overlooking the water and seeing the changing views while you eat. It is quite expensive to eat at the Revolving restaurant, but worth it for a special occassion.
I went to La Porchetta for lunch and was actually surprised at how good the food was! I ordered chicken fettuccini and there was probably 200g of chicken in the sauce! The top notch meals are complimented by the excellent service. The staff seem to have found the right balance between not enough and too much attention.
Salamanca Markets are on every Saturday morning. There is always a huge range of books, clothing, plants, sweets, craft items and lots more. The setting is beautiful and there are buskers to entertain you. There is always a lot of variety, so you will probably want to spend at least 2 hours browsing and there's a huge range of food to choose from, so you might as well stay for lunch :)
